Bricked or Boot loop - help needed

Hi people!
I got bricked my galaxy mini gt-s5570, but not totaly (that means I can still use the download mode, and RAMDUMP ARM9 mode) but I can't power up the phone. That happened after I used ODIN for gt-s5570 and changed the Kernel (I forgot to make backup before), and device was working well with the new kernel, but after it I use the same step in ODIN to get back to the old one. So the result is, when I'm pushing the power key the screen starts to blinks and nothing more! But as I say download mode, and ARM9 mode are still working. Any solution for this?

just download the new firmware from samfirmware.com n flash it thru odin as u can go to download mode..n ur phone will be back to life again..

I mean even when I flash an official rom with Odin, I still have the same problem, I am trying this since three days now and noway...

i think you tried to upgrade firmware not boot whenever you upgrade firmware it cant be downgrade it can just be more upgraded when you downgrade your firmware it will not boot up it will just show a black screen so just reinstall the firmware again and do not try to downgrade it

go to download mode start Odin connect your cable put files in their places and start the flashing process
if you are upgrading to gb for the first time do not use firmware without bootloader, use normal firmware

If you can access download mode, its not a hard brick.
Just flash a stock firmware with Odin in downloading mode. After you get the "PASS" in Odin. Unplug the USB. Remove Battery and put it back. Go to Stock recovery, clear user data and cache and reboot.

never give wrong suggestion to people when you don't know anything

Try flashing froyo firmware with bootloader, then upgrading to gingerbread. I did these actions on galaxy ace and it unbricked. It had flickering samsung logo.

I flashed a lot of firmwares (most dead links) : with odin : tass.ops&one package and tass.ops&''4'' (pda,cts,apboot etc)package and no one works, after says reboot the screen flickers/blinks white and black ... (and after finish/PASS still the same problem , no boot and that fkin screen )
PS: What is bootloader ??

Try to use the firmwares from sam mobile.. don't use custom roms..

I was having emanon and after I reboot the phone gets bricked ...

i haved same problem...solved in service centre, with jTag. you need to recovery your boot. without it you cant to enter in download mode.
or
try with usb jig (search on youtube how to do it)
p.s. i dont know if usb jig working. do it on your risk.

no, it doesent cost something, you just need to find a good firmware to flash.

if you can ,it never be hard brick,you can seek a official 2.3.4to flash,i meet the same problem when i flash CWM by Odin,and it just show （mobile ! PC）,but Ican enter download mode ,finally i flash official 2.3.4 successfully,the you Will has an original recovery,then you can do everything in recovery！！
BTW if your Odin show COM when your phone enter download mode？

yes and after it pass the step 7/9 system.rfs the phone boots but it is again stuck at flashing/blinking black&white screen

if your phone go to download mode, then just flash it with odin with 2.3+ version of android.

I have a i9000m and i wanted to flash it using odin because cwm wasn't working and i googled for vibrant. so i didn't really pay attention to the title when it said ``captivate only`` http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=731989 it went through the odin process but phone didn't restart. it just turned off and stayed off so I unplugged and now, it just shows the at&t world phone white background screen. and keeps restarting. cant get to recovery or download mode. odin doesn't see it either. I read many forums and I think Im going to have to go with the usb jig but before I do Im just wondering if there's another method to get into download mode or some program or adb that can find the phone. thanks

If you click the link below ( My Android Collections), you can try Easy Reboot Recovery..using ADB or the Android Recovery Tools, they have options for various functions, preset by developers

yeah....using adb is the only possibility i would take into consideration too

I accidentally Flashed a vibrant rom on my i9000. When I finally did get it into download mode with the JIG, I flashed back to stock firmware with ODIN and It totally ruined my phone.... The screen went all crazy and it kept rebooting faster than odin could do anything to it.
Just be careful. Im really not sure what happened But its pooched now for sure. JTAG is my only option on that one

if u dont own JIG or u dont know how to use ADB . the other way is
remove battery from phone /sim card / sd card
take the USB connect with ur Laptop or PC ( dont use it with charger it will not work)
connect with ur phone , then u will see the black screen being lil bit lighter
pres the 3 combos button to enter download mode and then flash ur ROM
this always worked for me , i hard bricked 4 times already my phone :/

i have already rooted my device and used CW Recovery and taken a copy of my original system .oki
i wanted to set up a custom rom i restarted and reset and deleted the cash then installed the rom.
i think it was Retribution beta
then i wanted to update to that custom rom (MindCR ICS)
all i did i restarted my phone of course went into R mode and reset and deleted the cash then installed that next custom rom .
after installing completed when i rebooted it only gave me (samsung galaxy ace s5830i) logo and doesn't open the system when i restart it doesn't go into recovery or download mode it only gives me again the same logo.
even when i press long power button it shuts down and opens automatically.
is there any help knowing that i have already taken a copy of my system.

I think you have a hard brick.....
Maybe JIG / JTAG can help.

I have this problem before and i managed to use ODIN3 v1.83 (can use Odin3 v3.07) to detect my phone and flash a stock rom onto the device. I followed the advice given on this excellent thread by Supermini.

As mentioned on his thread make sure you have the latest stock firmware from the sammobile site or by using Check Fus Downloader as per the guide in Rafael thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1551156, a working samsung USB driver to detect your mobile on your PC and a copy of ODIN3 v1.83 (or v1.84, v1.87, v3.07 run ODIN in administrator mode if using in windows). Ultimately if this this fails you could always try a USB jig which can be purchased from ebay, etc. to get the phone into download mode.

thanks and sorry for late but as i told you i cant go into rev or download mode i tried to use odin 1.8 and the latest version but it doesn't recognize my phone shall i lose hope!

bro i think u most probably bricked ur phone but dont worry try opening download mode. then using the odin u install ur stock rom. Then u can access ur r mode. but try to read the entire procedure..of flashing the rom.

So . . . last thing to rescue your phone is buy on e-bay or in other place JIG if it isn't help you then try in phone service and say you tried install new ROM with Kies and your phone is brick (maybe it'll work).

Say to Service Centre Representatives that you kept your at charging last night
And when you woke up
It was not booting up
Pretend as if you dunno anything about root or ROM
They fixed my bricked phone
I am not sure if I am breaking any forum rule by telling this

Hey bro sorry for the late reply also, please before you do anything else try following my instructions.
1) download Odin v3.07

4) open and run Odin as administrator and load the single file in the PDA and highlight the tick box.
5) shut the phone down and take out your Sim card.
6) put the mobile into download mode as normal (press both up/down vol keys +power)
7) connect the phone to the PC and check in Odin to make sure its com port is detected.
8) then flash through Odin as normal.
I understand what your saying about no download screen appearing, I have found through experience that custom kernels can cause no download screen to appear. Normally with stock kernel this is not a problem but with custom kernels sometimes all you get is a black screen. Ignore this and just make sure that Odin is detecting the phone and try to flash, chances are it will flash the stock ROM and kernel. If you get the setup connection error in Odin and the fail 0\1 just try another USB port on your PC and keep persevering.

Why will it be hardbricked if the custom roms are based on s5830i stock roms?

But it is probable that we did I not flash the rom properly as per procedure..so is there a chance that it be bricked? Else the rom may have some problem... just telling the probability

help me on fixing my ace s5830i , my problem is after flashing it with RazoDroiD my phone seems to be ok , i decided to change my firmware by a stockrom using Odin mode or the Volume Up+Down+On off it stays on blank screen . Can you help me on fixing this ? and what do you call this problem .

Try following my instructions.
1) download Odin v3.07
2) source the stock firmware you want to flash from sammobile.

First I flashed CWM arcording to this thread as i cannot get rom manager to work?
Then I rebooted my phone into recovery mode via adb again.
Volia, I got my phone bricked, stuck in the glorious samsung logo never to move on. Not able to access recovery.
I then followed this thread and reinstalled the CWM for froyo.
Odin then failed. Reboot show a samsung logo followed by a computer to phone screen.
Tried flashing oem gingerbread but took to long so powered it off.
Samething still happens.
Tried One click unbrick
Samething
Download mode still works

Go to this page
Select Type [Smartphone]
Select OS [Android]
Select Model [your phone model]
Select Country [your country]
Then click on SEND
The page will show you current firmware and additional files ...
Download firmware ....
Download flash program from additional files ...
Then flash it ...

You know from the first post, the galaxy mini just kept showing that comupter to phone screen as shown before mentioned in the first post

thats the download mode with different screen
just connect and flash a 4 package file with odin

For GT-S5570i, only Odin version 1.84 and 1.87 can detect the phone.
Unfortunately both version doesn't have the one package option to flash ....
So u need to split the original md5 file into PDA, PHONE and CSC 3 package files.
As the splitting md5 file is quite complicated just download following 3 files,
all this files were used to flash my GT-S5570i
(split from Original Samsung Firmware Android 2.3.6 released on October 2012) ...
For PDA
Download this
For PHONE
Download this
For CSC
Download this
For Flash Program & pit file
Download this
Don't forget to UNCHECK the Re-partition box.
If u want your country firmware to be split then give me your link.
I will split and upload it for u.

If u access download mode, flash stock rom, (donwload one from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1551586 and flash) If it fails. Check your samsung drivers, thats often a reason why it fails, but i suppose u have them. Don't stop the flashing process until the odin says Pass in a blue box. If flashing fails even then.... its service center or if u can, use a usb jig. That's all i can think of..
