[HELP!] i bricked my i-9000!!!

well i was installing ani-mod until i rebooted...... when i realised my phone is bricked...... and now i want to start all over again....
i dont have three button download mode.....
but i think there is another way by pulling the battery out!
i want to factory reset
install darky rom
and fix my phone!
any help?

use adb to get into download mode. flash a stock rom. than do everything again.

another way to get into the DL mode is to buy one of those jigs, you just plug them into the usb slot of the phone and it'll enter the DL mode... saw them somewhere on youtube =/ but they cost... so if you want to use a free way, use adb i think

[Q] phone got stuck at galaxy s after update via kies

i updated my phone via kies and it got stuck at the galaxy s boot screen...
im able to enter download mode,but even after flashing the phone with the firmware i get an error in recovery saying 'unable to prepare storage, use ui menu for format and reboot'...
what do i do??? somebody please help

use buttuns Vol UP+Home+Power on/off
join recovery mode
wipe cache
Factory/data reset
. then again into download mode
make sure Kies isnot running / use to pc CTR+ALT+DEL and check about it
before plug in phone
run Odin v X.X loads 3 files from ur rom wanted to flash (becarfur if u wanna go to 2.3.3 and u never been before u must download rom with bootloader , check Ramads Post in General section )
try those and after post again what going on

if u cant access recovery mode, pull out the battery wait for 1 min or so
than hold the volume up+home button and insert the battery...
than apply Factory/data reset

Iflashed the phone with the 2.1 firmware ddjg4...
The phone worked...
After that I flashed 2.2 rom ddjp6...but when the phone booted all the apps started to force close...what should I do to get 2.2 on my phone?? Have I done anything wrong? Should I use a different firmware?? Pls help

[Q] Help Needed in Unbricking Samsung Galaxy Pop (GT S5570)

Please help me out on this....

I successfully upgraded my Pop to gingerbread 2.3.6 and rooted it. It was working fine for some days after which It got messed up
when I updated the titanium backup app from the market. The app asked for some su permissions and suddenly the screen went blank.
After that I realized that its a hard bricked. The screen is blank whatever I do. I searched for many tutorials to unbrick it but no fruitful results yet.
I tried a lot to enter download mode and after several attempts luckily the three button combo worked and it got shown in ODIN on some port connected.
When I started the process of firmware upgrade it gets stuck in "Connection Setup Phase".
Does USB Jig method is worth trying in this situation ??
Pease tell me the solution of it. I am attaching the screenshot of the ODIN. Please Please Please help.

what is on your mobile screen download mode or something like phone--!--computer picture
ok whatever try this
close Odin, turn off mobile, start Odin and put files turn on mobile in download mode connect the cable and start flashing
PS : phone--!--conputer shows on the screen when upgrade get fail, not to worry it is just like another version of Odin
until you can light up the mobile its not a hard brick
I will suggest you to use firmware which are available without bootloader as you were previously on gb, just to remove the risk of hard brick

There is nothing shown on my screen...
no computer like symbol....
nothing whatever i do...
It just goes sometimes in download mode when the 3 button combos is pressed (very rarely), gets detected by ODIN but stucks on connection error...

First of all delet all drivers on pc and install them new, just to be on the save side! Then get firmware for your country i suggest you to use 4file pack no the 1file ones! Then get odin v4.38 put your device in download mode and conect to pc put all 4files in the right place in odin and start flashing!! It should not take longer then 6min!! Let odin finish when you see blue pass disconect and be lucky!!

I tried this thing many times but still ODIN stucks on connection setup...
Also tried on different machine...

Have you tried using a different port? Or a different cable? Also, try unchecking the reset time option on ODIN.

there are two data cables of the same shape but their holes (which goes in mobile port) are of different size try the data cable whose hole is much big
I will try to post a pic
in short use the original Samsung one

1st try flashing cwm via odin n then wipe data wipe sd partition n then go to stock rom via odin

Flash Stock Rom for ur device using odin..... Please do not do any thing you area not aware of..
Files the steps and will make ur device ok

The screen is completely blank whatever I do so I cant do these steps ....

Ya m flashing stock ROM using ODIN but it gets stuck on connection setup stage forever (see attached file)...
Please help...

USB jig only boots mobile in download mode
but you are saying you can sometimes boot in download mode so no use of USB jig is required
you should take it to samsung

Weird. I dont know how you could brick your phone with titanium backup app.
Your battery could be dead. Charge your phone for 2 hours.
Then try using Odin using a different USB Port.

Nop I charged my battery full with another battery charger before using ODIN but still the problem persist.
I think I have to take it to Samsung service center but my warranty is over so I think they will take a huge amount
to fix it.
Anyone still having some idea on this...

I gave my phone to service centre (warranty is over ) before few days and they told than some connector in the circuit is damaaged and need to be replaced with new
one and its cost is 4278 INR . Can u believe that ??? 4278 bucks. Its better to buy a new phone.

You should have tried another stock firmware or another USB port when your phone luckily entered download mode. Same problem happene with me & get solved by flashing another stock firmware.

Hi guys, pls help me. I accidentally brick my phone while trying to root it, at first it couldnt even boot n stay onto the logo page. But i somehow i manage to get it rooted n working again. what happen is tat my phone will automatically switch off by itself after sometime n i cant connect to my pc via usb now....pls help save my phone....thks a bunch in advance.

Please give some more details what you exactly did and what Rom you use and how you rooted it.
"somehow i manage to get it rooted n working again" isn't precise.
First of all you should check if you can boot into recovery or into download mode. In download mode you should connect the device to your PC and check with Odin if it is recognized. I take for sure that you connected the Note successfully before with your PC (and you have drivers installed).

yes, nw i can boot into recovery n download mode. yes, in download mode odin can detect my phone, but not kies, it says device cannot be detected.
tis was wat happen...i was on stock rom, then i try to root my note using cwm.zip n superSU-v0.87.zip. after running in cwm recovery i run superSU then i assume tat after doing the steps i should wipe my data n reboot my phone my phone. i was wrong, my phone got brick. then i try to restore it bk to stock, so i dl odin n the stock rom, but it dint work. then i came by a thread on the forum on how to get the phone bk to life by using some pit files, so i tried. after running the pit files, then i run odin n try to restore bk to stock. my phone came bk to life but stuck on the logo page, so i ran cwm again n rooted my phone. but nw my phone has a bit of problem, it does not connect to kies thru usb, it turns off by itself after a while if i leave it for abt 20mins, i cant turn on my bluetooth. ps help. thks.

After using a repetition pit, the phone will freeze on large roms. Best bet is to install a slim rom and test out.

[Q]How to rescue my phone from boot loop

Hello guys,
I have been using custom roms on my galaxy ace for like 1,5 years. My mom had some problems with her i9000 (phone gets stuck a lot, also gets stuck everytime it receives a call and etc) and i thought it would be the best to use custom roms to fix it. But it had 3 button problem and i tried to solve it with 2 different ways but it didnt work. Then i thought that it might work if i downloaded CWM and installed it via Odin. This is when phone started to loop boot. I guess i installed a wrong one ( i double checked though ).
Now phone doesnt go in either download or recovery mode and keeps looping. And between samsung logo, a corrupted screen shows up (check attachment please).
PS: the corrupted screen started to show up after i tried to fix 3 button problems. Even when phone was working alright, it would show up sometimes.
Please help me solve this. Thanks.

try usb jig, u can search it via search box n its da easiest way to attain download mode for u to redo ur flashing sequence.

after that wipe data &cache then restart the system >>
that maybe solve your problem.....
