v017?? Why so old version, are you tired to update your phone and lose your old settings?"!
battery
Around 4 days, several calls, lot of sms, some wifi, little 3g (almost nothing), no games, no gps.
This is the main reason for me to use this device and not one of the bigest and powerful.
Using: alfs kernel + froyo 2.2 by xperiafan13
Swype keyboard and Whatsapp KILL the battery, without this two apps I could have an extra day.
SE W8 E16i
Unlocked bootloader- nAa kernel 10
ROM: Mini CM 7 2.1.8
BATTERY TIME: 16 hours
FEATURES:
- SE Active Launcher- with corners,
- GPS off,
- BLUETOOTH off,
- Wifi off
- 2G Networks when data disabled
- 3G Network when data enables for about 10 minutes
- Brightness- 60% with Ultra brightness - 6 hours and 20% with UB - 6 hours,
- Disabled MOCK LOCATIONS,
- Before I stop using my phone I've always "delete"/"STOP" Running services,
- Vibration all the time (Reason: College)
- Play for 3 hours - fruit ninja and Rummy for 2 hours
Have to charge daily
At nights i used to surf and download on charger.
And charges the phone whole night till 6.
Uhm... is very hard to understand what is the battery work in a phone.
3G is a big battery drainer, SURE !
If 3G signal is low the phone can use till 700-900mA to web navigate.
If you live below the 3G antenna the battery goes very fine, but not your health
If you force 2G and disable any data the battery usage goes very low, many days.
I'm used to have always Battery Monitor app running (in the lasts 6months) and I know who and how uses my battery.
I keep my X8 running PowerAMP player all day (I used so, because I'm a software programmer and I need to cover the noise in my office - damned collegues).
The normal battery use with MP3, and data OFF goes between 30 to 80 mA, depending by type of MP3.
Now I've launched a Tuner Pro analyser and I leave it running all day so I can figure out what is the CPU load and trying to understand battery responsability.
PS: GingerDX 22, stock firmware, 600mhz no OC, OV running with ondemand.
I will attach some result graphics tomorrow.
with 3g off, minimum brightness, gps off, bluetooth off, I can use about 5 hours of web browsing, continously. With moderate use, lasts one day. (GingerDX)
Why are you all using GingerDX? This was my first rom i've flash and have them to version 19 than I found gingerCruzt. I don't like GingerDX because is changed to much and it's look that you have Windows phone or something because you can't find anything of Sony Ericsson!
@2010matej:I used to like the theme from the old SE stock ROM, but then, I got used to other themes, and when I bricked my phone and flashed 2.1 again, I suddenly noticed how ugly this SE stock theme is.
I also never used Timescape or any of those stupid SE apps, except Crazy Penguin, which is not such a bad game.
GingerDX is just the best ROM IMHO, I used other ROMs, and always came back to GingerDX, because it has everthing I need, and it´s smooth.
I use v.022 now, and I get 1-2 days of battery time, because I use Wi-Fi so much (up to 2h a day).
But if I don´t use the phone so much, I get up to 3 days.
Oh, and I use LinuxDX, it makes the phone faster and contains no useless things like OC.

Yeah, I don't like old SE stock theme too and I didn't use timescape and other apps, just Crazy Penguin like you. Maybe I flash ginger dx again after so long time...

SE X8i
GDX v21
Locked Bootloader (stock kernel)
- Launcher7
- GPS off,
- Bluetooth off,
- Wifi 1 hour a day (aprox. sum)
- 2G networks ALL the time
- 30 min calls a day (aprox. sum)
- Brightness to 30%
- Disabled Mock Locations
- No games
- No OC, UV
- Flight mode during night
- No auto-updates on any app
Battery life: 3-4 days. Really satisfied!
NOTE:The Facebook app is a big battery drainer. Even with no auto-updates on, it says active on the background. I noticed HUGE difference in battery life after uninstalling it. Consider using the browser for the Facebook page and a messaging app for chat (I use IM+).

Simple Reason, Smooth...
I have not been trying other rom but since GDX is smooth, I will not spare my time to try others.

Even I used GingerCruzt initially and it was the first custom rom to be flashed onto my X8. But the incessant lag when i attempt to return to the home screen, made me search for other ROMs. Tried GingerXperia, n MiniCM7, but finally rested on GingerDX v22. It's faster and smooth.
GC UI is cool, I agree. But it can't suffice the lag.

I have always seen threads here of people getting so much better battery life then what I am getting.
I am down to 80% after 1 hour and 14 minutes after unplugging from the charger.

Just a shot in the dark, but you have a lot of widgets running, and your over clocked, as well as having a live background, my guess is its draining as it should be!
My 2 cents: I just lost 30% in 2 days with my setup... try it out.
Switch to intersectRaven's 33.4 Kernel (the 925mV Version, Latest Release)
Download Task Manager (i use the regular one with the little green android)
Setup Task Manager to ignore only 2 or 3 important apps (like the clock if you use an alarm) Also, set it up to kill all tasks 5 mins after screen goes black.
That should increase your battery life quite a bit.

Well the kernel is undervolted so having it overlocked supposedly doesn't decrease battery life. As far as the widgets and live wallpaper go, I thought they don't use that much battery?.

Nope! I can drain a quarter of my battery, at home, while using 3G, just browsing the internet, in about that time...

Well I never thought of it that way. The articles weren't that long (3-6 paragraphs) but then again I am not sure how much drain NewsRoom has when it fetches them.

Not sure about fetching, probably not much. But screen being on (and probably with white background and non-minimal brightness) for the time of reading drains a lot.
I finally rooted last night and flashed cyanogen latest ROM and now suddenly have the same poor battery life. I used stock for 3 months and this is an enormous difference than stock. I'm at 59 minutes and down to 76 % already. I have no apps installed or any widgets since I only just flashed. Stock cyanogen. So why is cyanogen So power hungry?
Pure calendar.
I totally respect the programmer and love his apps. But everytime batery has been an issue removing the widget has usually been tied to better battery life. Placebo ?..maybe..
I got terrible life with Cyn 6.05
Helix is supposedly a battery raper. That + Pure would suck Batt life like mad for me.
Both 5.05 and Froyo give me much better results.

Yeah it definitely is Cyanogen. Since I flashed Froyo, my battery life has doubled in comparison to CM 5.0.6 (I hear that 5.0.7 is even worse).

I had terrible problems on CM 5.05 and 5.06. I tried what I thought was everything: setcpu, taskmanagers, every kernel known to xda. Nothing helped.
And then, one day, when I had stopped trying, I noticed I was getting good battery life again. What changed? My main suspects are replacement launchers, such as Helixlauncher etc., wifi turned on when no wifi is available -- this was big one!
And apps trying to update all the time.
Your screen was on for 44 minutes out of 74 minutes? I'm going to label that a big fat duh.
juice defender works great doubled my batterylife
I am a battery cheapstake and get pretty good battery about a day and change, with one hour on the phone and some google searching/mapping and surfing and a game or two, if you do the following:
Keep screen at minimal. You can increase it on command from the command widget if you really it, like when outdoors in bright sunlight. It takes 1 second to change and it can save you tons of battery during the course of the day.
Same goes with keep the battery to turn off after 15-30 seconds. Again, over the course of the day it adds up.
Remove live-wall papers, they are nothing but a drain. I am an photographer enthusiast so I use my own photography, a dark shot to save on battery as well. Plus it is nice to show your own stuff than someone elses.
Use no polling widgets, unless you need to. I only have 4 widgets and none pull down anything from the net at anytime. If I need twitter, it takes 2 seconds to open the app.
One of the widgets I DO have is the 2G/3G switch. When the Nexus is in my pocket, I do not need it to download/upload/sync with anything at lighting speeds. So if anything gets updated, it will be slower but I do not care. If I need the phone, I switch the puppy to 3G and fly. Savings are HUGE and guarantees my phone will have juice when I NEED it, and not use up while on standby.
I read that having task killers is a waste of time on Android. Since it is not a Windows device, ram and apps are not handled the same way. I used to kill everything on site on my old Tytn so I thought it natural. However, I read that Android is fairly good at memory managment. So for now, what I do is back out, out of all my apps --unless they have an 'exit' option. I am currently experimenting with that, after using a number of task killers from the market I think I have a fair idea of what I should and should not expect. I will let you know.
If you really want to make a difference, uncheck 'background sync' on settings under the sync option. If I need to check my email, I can again, pull it down fast. I know a few people who want to have everything push, however, unless you are that popular that you get emails\twitter & facebook notifications every 2-minutes or because of work then it is not really needed.
It is a bit of a trade-off, but you can't expect to have a running a 1Mhz chipped, huge screened, live wall-papered, widget-polling that is always connected to the internet device and expect it to to last you more than a day with an -in my opinion, fairly small- sub 1500mAh battery. If you had, say
<3000mAh, ahhh..., then that would be something.
Feels a bit cramped but i like the swipe to the media section. Either way great to have options good luck with getting it to work fully.
5.0.7 worked wonders for me batterywise.. better than stock AND slightly better than Froyo.
Is weird that some phone works better than other phones with the same ROM...funny..
I would revert back to Cyanogen if the wifi could stay constantly on. Thats the only thing stopping me.
Hi i have a battery problem, it dies really fast when im not using it and when i am it dies faster, idk now if its just me but ive tried it with paragon, serendipity, and the stock rom with the same problem. heres some of my phones info..

-from 6am to 7pm 25% with about 30mins of total use??!!!
-wifi and gps off

1-1.5 hours with activities that keep screen on like texting, mails, etc
i am on the ROM in my signature.

Try using a kernel that supports UV and setting slightly reduced voltages. I am using GB's 1280 kernel, and capped the speed at 1000. And reduced the voltages slightly.
Others would be normal things like switching to EDGE, lowering brightness levels, setting wifi to "turn off when screen off", etc.
what does UV mean sorry im a newb :/ and how do u install a different kernel

UV = Under volting
1. Load the kernel in my signature (attached to this post)
2. Install the voltage control app (attached to this post)
3. Start the voltage app and set the voltages and cap at the levels based on the pic in this thread.
WARNING: Voltage levels depend on phone to phone. I would suggest starting from low values. Take off 50 from the values I have posted in the pic and use them. If u feel it is ok, then add another 25. Take it slowly checking if the reduced voltages are freezing up ur phone.
I would recommend u starting with these values: 75 75 50 25 25 0 from bottom to top.
Ok thanks diablo I will test this out tomorrow and report back

Sounds like a good old battery recalibrate is in order:
1. Connect the phone to the charger with the phone powered on, and allow the phone to charge until it shows 100%
2. Disconnect the phone from the charger, and power it off.
3. Reconnect the phone to the charger with the phone powered off, and allow the phone to charge until the battery indicator shows 100% (you can use vol-up/vol-down to make the indicator come back up when the screen goes to sleep).
4. Disconnect the phone from the charger and power it on.
5. Once the phone is powered completely on, power it off again and reconnect it to the charger until the battery indicator shows 100%.
6. Disconnect the phone, power it on, and use it.
I did this a couple days ago, plus wiped stats, and as of right now, I am showing 20% after 30 hours. No joke.

Ironically, JuiceDefender killed my phone *much* faster than with me manually enabling and disabling my data connection.
IMO, JuiceDefender does nothing that you can't do yourself, the problem is, is that it constantly has to check apps to see if any are enabled to toggle your data connection.
I am just saying

I actually use my phone and I am getting these results
I have a very similar question. My problem is, on custom roms (I've tried Assonance, Serendipity, and another), my battery drains 1%/hour. This is even after a fresh install; nothing is running in the background. When I look into my battery info, it says wifi is doing the draining. I keep hearing people saying their battery life is amazing after flashing custom roms, but I'm getting the complete opposite. Am I forgetting something?
Without custom roms or anything, and using a rooted/lag-fixed (not sure this makes any diff anyway) setup, I lose somewhere between 2-3% battery per hour on standby. I don't even use juicedefender. I really love what they're doing with these custom roms, but the wifi on standby just rapes my battery.

+1 why have an app probe for stuff that u can do for urself. Little things like remembering to turn off wifi when not in wifi zone would help u extend ur battery.

i dnt even use wifi and after 5hrs of use my battery is at 74% which is good enough for me but i wouldnt mind 1 day+ of battery life... how do u do this??
I'm seeing a lot of posts about poor battery life but am i the only one who's getting pretty damn good results?
I'm currently on 2days, 18hours, 31minutes and 41seconds on battery* and it's still on 31%. I reckon i can still probably get another 24 hours out of it.
Is anyone else getting similar results?
* Roughly: 5 phone calls, 20+ texts, 40+ minutes of youtube via HDMI out, 5 photo's (some with flash) and internet/market browsing here and there.
I'm running CM7 with vorkKernel (standard clock speed) with GPS turned off and WiFi on (when at home),
that kernal you are using. does it show accurate battery stats? I noticed cm7's battery is pretty erratic.
btw this is xthedarknight99 on twitter!
My battery life is great when I use JuiceDefender and when I don't use apps that use the mobile data connection the entire time.
My battery gets raped to hell and back when I have apps running that use mobile data, like MSN or IRC. I work 4-hour shifts and during a shift I usually leave MSN running using 2G data. In those 4 hours I lose around 40-50% of my battery, it's wicked.
One thing I've noticed is, when I enable Wi-fi and leave it enabled, battery drain overnight is around 8%. When I disable Wi-fi AND Mobile data and let JuiceDefender enable mobile data for a short time every 15 mins, my battery drain overnight is around 10%. If I leave mobile data enabled the entire time my battery loses 30% overnight.
Something is seriously wrong with the mobile data chip/driver.

Yeah, Wifi uses a lot less power than 3G when it's connected but uses a hell of a lot of power if it's constantly scanning and can't connect. I always turn mine on when i get home and turn it off when i leave the house
Noticed the same thing too. But less acutely, as I don't use any apps that use data constantly, except for an hourly email check.
Similarly, wifi at home seems to have slower drain than 3G mode when I am outdoors (wifi switched off when outdoors). I don't use 2G mode.
Generally, I stay above 50% battery level after a whole day's use - so I can't complain too much.
Finally plugged my phone in lol
Not got a screenshot of it but the stats are: 3days, 6hours, 17minutes and 49seconds on battery. Not bad!
Mine did something "bad" like this too. 3d 5h... never imagined, after the problems it makes day to day...
You lucky bugger! Ive actually had time to test it in the wild(slightly) today and well its not good at all!
5hours 20minutes or something around that, phone actually drained 99% lol! In that time i did:
almost 2 hours of browsing web, forums like hexus/xda so nothing to heavy... no constant loads/refreshes
Played 10-15minutes of xconstructor (im so easily pleased!)
Had 2 gmail accounts of auto sync, push basically
made around 27minutes worth of phone calls
5 texts
Not much really to drain 100% battery . Any ideas on how to improve battery life?
edit: this is on modaco fr18b2
@meltus.... do you mind me asking whether you're on stock rom or what apps etc you have changed to get that. I'm getting a healthy 24 hours for the battery normally but wouldnt mind extending that!!
Did you try to recalibrate the bettery with batterycalibration app? For me it basically doubled the battery life!
i recalibrated the battery before installing a new rom (it was 100% battery) however ill try again .
Meltus do you have sync on?
Also do you use whatsapp?
Those are the #1 battery killers on my phone.
Specially whatsapp.
I can't understand how your battery can last so long, while mine last less than a day ...!!!

That is impressive
May I know which nightly build are you on?
I've always been tempted to install them but i was too afraid of stability issues
that is indeed impressive. my battery gets merked by approximately 33% after 40 minutes of youtube lol
I have almost the same battery life on the latest CM kang, but with 2G only... With 3G I get little more than one day...
I think he's pulling our leg with that screenshot
No details of rom, baseband or ril combo etc.

I lost 3 or 4% in one hour on standby with Modaco fr18b2. Now on CM7 kang I have still 100% after 8 hours on standby. Data-2G and Wi-Fi are turned on all the time.
Well settings are the same as with Modaco ROM.
I want to flash CM so bad but am waiting to see what the official gingerbread does.. I know that once I go to CM I won't go back lol my battery is horrible right now

i bayed a new x8 phone before 5 days !
i think my phone is draining battry
so please how much days can you x8 phone can work without charging !
It depends My record was nearly 5 days without charging But I wasn't using it at all Just to check what time is it. Now it's more than 2 days (200+ SMS, phone calls, WiFi).
If You think Your phone is draining battery - turn off gsm data, use only 2g, turn off GPS etc Smartphones are not old phones, like Nokia 3310
+1
right answer
Agree for the above Answer..
Tipont charge too often..charge only when it is <5/10 %
every think is ok , evry think is desactivated ; i can use my phone only for one days , making normal thinks
like checking time or opening some apps ( not games)
please tell me how to solve this problem
my phone is new !!
for exemple my phone is 100/100 charged in 01:00 am
now it is 11:24 am , my phone have only 80/100 in charge ; and i have using it only for a couple minutes ; making one call !
What apps did You install? Download any task killer / task manager / ram manager. It should help.
im using advanced task killer latest version !
GingerDX on Stock Kernel with smartass CPU governor at default min/max CPU speeds (no overclock) and occasional usage - up to three days.
Now the question is ...
- Did you turn off GPS as recommended?
Turn off "Mock Locations" if it's enabled - it's a known bug in Gingerbread that having this setting enabled can cause battery drain.
- Do you turn off Wifi when not needed?
Since most people set the "Wifi sleep policy" to "Never" because of connection issues this can also be the source of your problem.
- Do you turn off 2G/3G when not needed?
Like with WiFi it should only be turned on when you need to access the Internet. Letting either WiFi or 2G/3G "sit there" because you have to be logged into Skype/GTalk/MSN/... does not help battery life.
If you're on the Stock ROM - that beast had a worse battery life for me than any custom ROM.
im sure that all off thinks are turned off
i turn WIFi only for some times then i turn it offf !
i still get the battery drain
!!!
what is the solution !
Turning off *Background data* and not just only *sync* provided a boost to my battery life.
I suggest the above
Actually,I think that you must dimmer the backlight of your phone~~
My battery has lost 10% in one night。
Battery drain is normal for our x8
Sent from my X8 using XDA
overclock your phone. you can set to lower cpu speed when the screen turn off. this help my phone not drain the battery at night.
Highly variable but
- battery capacity
- ROM type
- kernel
- 3G/HSDPA
- WiFi
- Android version
- screen-on time
- apps
- overclocking
to mention a few. Not to mention the inherently variable nature if X8 hardware.
My xperia 8's battery takes for 2 days max. And without wi-fi. This is smart phone, it's normal when battery charges out fast. Becides between the price and quality i think it's the best choice.
that's weird...
if you already turned off data, wifi, GPS, sync, bluetooth and everything else, it should be last longer...
please make sure again you already turned them off and only turn them on only when needed...

What firmware is installed on your phone?
Sent from the bathroom using the toilet
Hy guys!
I have a question for you. I intend to buy a Samsung Galaxy SIII I9305. Tell me ... is it true that the battery is the weak point of this model? I read that it can't last a whole day ... I am a free RAM lover and I inted to buy this model onsted of the classic one for that extra 1GB RAM.
Any tips???
Thanks
hi depends on how much you use it. I get though a whole day of moderate use, emails biy of web browsing and calls without having to charge I have owned a 4s and 3gs as well and are both similar in terms of battery life. you could install a custom rom which removes some bloatware which may help but obviously do some research first! the battery is of course replaceable should there be any problems.
I see, bit you can "feel" the 1GB extra RAM? Out here, in my town, we don't have 4G ... yet, and the only thing that attracts me on this model, instead of classic S III, is this extra RAM. I'm not a multitasking kind of guy. in everey day use resumes to some messenger, some browsing and at home some games ....
The s3 lte extra ram makes it slightly faster than s3 according to antutu and vellamo benchmark scores.
Nexus 5 is out soon though...
Nexus 5 is to much for my pocket for now . I see that the development isn't the same like his classic brother. I heard that Samsung has prepared a bigger battery for S3 ... On my last phone. a LG Optimus Sol E730 I kept the ROM's that "eat" less RAM and i loved Samsung touchwizz and notification toggles ... so i have till next week to decide of i'll buy the classic and the LTE SIII ... The only "bad" thing I saw on reviews about ths LTE is that 4G and the extra RAM "eat up" the battery faster, but all the revews were before the Android updates ...

I had exactly same thoughts when I was buying my phone.. S3 was my choice, however I came across S3 LTE with additional 1GB ram for EXACTLY the same price as normal S3 and it was quick choice. I do not use 4g at all, however my network provider is setting it soon in my country, so I will have a chance to test it.
BUT, I often met people whining on poor ram management and low free ram on NORMAL S3. I have never had such issue on LTE version, it's blazing fast. Dialer, messages, facebook messenger, browser, one game and launcher will be kept in memory letting you access any of them immediately! That is enough for me, really
What's more, maybe we haven't got such big choice of custom ROMs, however still we have 2 or 3 in AOSP and same in stock Sammy and they're on high level. Again - enough for me
To sum up, it was just a miracle that I came across that S3 LTE version, which I had never heard about before I bought it ;p Good choice, more future than genuine S3.
*** fast edit according to your new post ***
I am thinking of buying this greater battery for my i9305 (3000mAh instead of 2100mAh - it is about 142%) soon, it is making phone a little bigger, however this phone is so thin, that it won't disturb me...
You can always turn LTE off, so it would not drain more battery. I am often running at 2g for more saving (when on wifi or not using internet).
Well, more RAM may eat more battery if you for example leave 2-3 games in memory and would listen to music with screen off. But it is the knowledge of using your phone properly that's giving me better battery performance Good rom, free of bloatware and greenified wisely (just few apps which I don't want to run in background) gives as much battery as on S3. I saw many screenshots from S3 section, I am often achieving same or even better results...

With the new android updates you can't switch only on 3G???

Why classic S3 would be faster at browsing.. I don't know

So you might have lte/3g/2g prefered, 3g/2g prefered, only 3g and only 2g. I think that there aren't any more combinations ; p
It will be super, do you know if greater battery is aveilable to buy?

Hi.
For a good battery life, I recommend a custom rom (ripper rom for me), and the app juice defender. I have a correct battery life.
I have tried both s3, and lte is more smoothly. No lag at all, even with stock configuration.

Well the RAM is important . I noticed a small lag and thought something wrong... Then I opened Task Manager and had 41 apps running!!!
Usually I turning off my phone around 10PM and turning on at 7AM,so the apps are closed and battery last 2 - 2 1/2 days. Now I wanted to test how long will battery last without turning it off, and that's why had so many apps running.
I have disabled all Google apps except Gmail and it increased battery life a LOT (would say extra 1/2 day)...

Sorry for my bad skill english!
Can you give me some recommend or judgement abbout a battery!
Schedule: i think my battery so bad. Overnight (from 12pm to 7am) in standby mod my battery lost 10% (turn all connection off ( except airplane mode), turn all app in taskmanager, turn google location and FD off)
7am-9pm: I just used for browsing by 3G only (turn it on when i need for browsing) about 1 hour and make some call, send about 100 message. ( not play game). My onscreen time is exactly 3 hours.
I used ripper rom+ perseus kernel, xtreme rom + boeffla kernel, stock rom (singapore). But onscreen's still 3h-3h30m.
My phone s3 i9305 was give by my aunt (it's used for 8 month).
Do you think my battery or my phone has issues? or my rom+kernel (App Stweak of kernel i don't how to setting for saving batter, i just flash the kernel and use default setting).
Recommending me some rom + kernel for saving battery??? I live in VietNam so what is baseband compatible with asian?
I saw topics. They said used para.....+ perseus kernel make their onscreen about 5-6h whole a day!!!

It depends how do you use your phone. IMO if somebody tells you that his phone has onscreen 5-6 hours, then he probably doesn't use the phone at all, just looking at the screen
You mentioned 3-3.3 hours, this is average time . You are using a phone a lot so it is OK.
My phone is on full stock , although debranded-generic version and I am switching it off at 10PM and back on at 7AM and phone keep going 2-2 1/2 days with this pattern. Have to admit, I am not a heavy user, would say average...
Also, there's few things affecting battery life. First of all if you don't have 4G switch to GSM/WCDMA mode. Disable all Google apps except Gmail, Play. Check all your apps how they are behaving (wakelogs, data usage etc). Is it known that Facebook, Viber etc are a big battery drainers...
I can't comment on custom ROM(s) as I don't use them, but like to mod stock ROM.
Give it a try for few days and see ...

Thanks you so much. I'm try all of rom in this area for i9305. Every rom last 2 day. I will back stock rom soon with kernel perseus.
May i ask you one question? How many % was you lost from 10PM to 7AM (sleep mode)? I lost about 10%. It's not acceptable!!
Your overnight battery useage seems excessive. I would guess that you have several processes running in the background. Best thing would be for you to monitor it after a full charge OR when you have some charge and are ready for the nights sleep. Put it in airplane mode and then post a BetterBatteryStats dump in the BetterBatteryStats thread in the morning. Peeps there will be able to tell you whats what. You might even figure it our for yourself when you see what has been happening with your phone while you were asleep.
Your daytime use seems alright.
I have a rXtreme and stock kernel and I get two days with airplane over night. Phone calls, texts, whatsapp and email etc during the working day. I think that is about right.
But check your night use with BBS and you will have your answer. If you haven't followed aspot72's advice you will probably see some of those apps waking your device.
