Go to development and look for the topic titled:
"[ROM][DEV][BrickedRom][Feb.02]-[CM9Kang]-[v4]-[KSM]-[Touchscreen-fixes]"
In there is a GAPPSFIX, download and install that. Let me know if it doesn't work.

Hi everyone,
I got a little problem with my market. When i try t install apps there is a delay in showing the app content, the delay is about 32 seconds.
Ok no wipe is helping i wiped everything including SD. But i think it's because the google restore off apps.
Here is a logcat http://pastebin.com/rBYNK9sd i don't know where to look at so if someone can give a look?
I also started a thread at cyanogenmod > http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/index.php?/topic/2589-market-slow/ But i didn't get reallt help there so i'm trying here.
I'm running CM 5.0.6 Fresh install
Seems to be an issue with the Market itself. Been seeing the same thing here with both my N1 running Enoms and my partners stock MT3G
it always worked till i installed a fresh install then everything broke, if its the market then a wipe should had fixed it, right? or am i wrong here. anyways it really annoying the market doesn't work well anymore.
If you look at CM forum you will see that after a fresh isntall using another google account doesn't cause a problem. so i'm 99% sure it's because of the google restore off apps. how can i delete that back-up.
I saw in settings you could disable it and delete everything but that didn't work.
I'm running Aosp's Gingerbread Alpha on my Hero, but I haven't been able to get any of Cyanogen's gapps files to install. Every time I reboot after installing a gapps pack I go straight to boot-looping. The phone works fine though without any gapps installed though.
I'm thinking that one of the many apps in gapps isn't compatible, and causing the reboot. I have a backed up copy of my Vending-2.apk, but nothing else. When I go to open market, it immediately closes -- probably because it never presents me with a TOS screen.
What other apks do I need to make *just* Market work?
I could not get the market to load with the 10/25 gapps.. I used the 10/20 gapps and everything loaded no problem...

Weird! For me, the 12/25 gapps were the only ones that wouldn't cause a continuous reboot cycle. I installed them after I'd already booted into Gingerbread once, per the instructions.
I like having a clan system, so I was happy to see that Titanium Backup was on there and would let me remove unwanted gapps in "Chuck Norris Mode"

i dunno if this will work for you but i used these gapps....http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=782320 for my set up im using firerats mod with cm 6.1(s-off) and when that flashed only market, talk and i think lilke the google search was there and thats it
So I recently picked up a cappy (SGH-i897) as a backup device.
Quickly realized it takes a normal sized sim instead of the one I've got in my GS3 (also ATT), so I have sim adapters coming.
I rooted using the corn kernal and clockwork recovery. SU is installed
Then I moved on to a different ROM -
First I wiped everything - cache, dalvik cache, full factory wipe, batt stats -
I flashed CM10 and the corresponding GApps from goo.im
No Play Store no Google anything I"m used to seeing on my GS3 with cm and gapps flashed-
So I wanted 10.1 anyway and I thought there was a possibility something went wrong with gapps -
I flashed cm 10.1 and the matching gapps again
Again still no play store - even if i manually install the play store (dl the .apk and install on the phone) it loads up and crashes instantly
Tried clearing the app's cache and clearing the app;s data - it just does the same thing - it pops up on the screen for a sec and dies
So my big ? is - Is this problem linked to me not having a sim card in the phone? Will the play store only work if you have one?
Any help is appreciated...
Android Market?

Rather than Google Play, your ROM probably has Android Market.
To get Google Play, it may be as simple as opening Android Market, which will tell you that you need to update to Google Play, which it will do for you. If not, then you need to download and the APK from somewhere. (Like here: http://www.droid-life.com/2012/03/06/download-new-google-play-store-version-3-4-6/)

No, he should be using Google Play since he's on Jellybean ROMs. If he was on Eclair/Froyo/GB I would say yes.
The fact of the matter is Play Store should be included in the gapps package you flashed and shouldn't be affected by whether you have a sim card installed or not. I would suggest verifying that you downloaded the correct gapps for the version you are using. If you did download the right one, maybe it was a bad download so try again.
thanks for the responses folks
i got gapps from the same place i got them from when i rooted and flashed cm to my gs3
goo.im
there's a chart on there that i used that shows you what gapps correspond to your version of cm
i'm on cm10.1 (kernel 3.0.54-geedcf0c) based off of android 4.2.1 and gapps -jb-20121212
anyone know if what order you flash it in makes a diff?
i flashed gapps first both times - right before cm
i will flash it again if someone thinks it will make a diff - not sure if i need a wipe and everything first or i can just do it
keep in mind - i actually google play in my apps tray - it just crashes every time i attempt to launch it

I would think gapps is a package of apk's mostly, and so flash only after everything else just like you would regular apps ( if you would be able to reach them..)

Glad you got the other stuff working. To answer your last question, technically yes that's all you have to do. I say technically because sometimes during a flash you can loose your imei or a couple other things.
But start by just trying to pop it in and if it doesn't work we can trouble shoot from there.

Hi folks,
I've had a good search around but not managed to figure this one out. I've just flashed CM10.1 first nightly and gapps-jb-20130301 using cwm 6.0.3.2 on my M7 (Orange UK, HTCDev unlocked). I followed the instructions on codeworkx' thread, doing a factory reset/wipe after flashing.
Now the phone works great, and the gapps install obviously did something, because I have Play Store installed. However there don't seem to be any of the other standard Google apps installed. I had to install Play Music, GMail, Chrome, Maps, Youtube myself, and I can't find Car Home anywhere. I was expecting to have to install some of the apps which are available in the Play Store, but things like Car Home aren't available in there.
Does anyone know if this is supposed to be the case? Or is there some way I can check if the gapps install went wrong somewhere (there was no error message in the cwm console)?
Thanks in advance,
Jon

Hmmm... Looks like the right gapps but to be sure here is the link from CM http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20130301-signed.zip but looks good. You should have Gmail and youtube maps and navigation. Don't know for sure about car home but sounds right. Try reinstalling it. After wipe the cache. If it still isn't working try install Team Win Recovery and then flash gapps again and wipe cache.
Thanks for the help. I downloaded it again and the MD5 is the same as the one I installed. Tried flashing it again with the same results, so maybe it's something specific with this version. Anyway I'll carry on for now because the phone is setup and happy for a bit. Most of the Google apps I can get from Play Store anyway. Would like to get Car Home going at some point though. Next time I wipe the thing I'll try with Team WIn.
The newest gapps for 4.2.2 do not install any apps besides the play store and play services. That's it. Everything will need to be downloaded thereafter.

I see, so seeing as Car Home isn't in the store, any ideas where to find it? I found an older version in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1257329 but I presume there'll be a more updated one for 4.2.2 somewhere.]
Thanks for the info.
Just to follow this up, the package in the above link works fine so far.

I just looked at my phone (CM 10.1) and I have no Car Home.
Just checked on my mate's Nexus 4 with 4.2.2 and he doesn't have it either, so I guess that's that one answered

I put this in the official Xposed discussion thread as well but with so many replies I didn't want this to be overlooked and since it's D415 specific I thought any input would be helpful here also. Sorry for double posting, and apologies if I have broken any rules...
I flashed the armv7 sdk21 and before I was able to install the apk to get that sweet sweet YouTube AdAway module I loved so much when I was running KitKat I got a myriad of low device space errors. I checked under Storage in Settings and the display on there looked like it flipped my free/used storage and ROM storage locations so it acted like I was maxed out of room when in reality I had about 2.3GB free. Has anyone else come across this on the D415, and how do I avoid it from happening? My ROM is LP xTreme v1.0 base D41520b. Thanks in advance for any replies.
Very easy fix . Boot to recovery, then wipe cache and dalvik cache. Reboot, then enjoy! Whenever you update to any version of xposed in the l90 you need to do this to avoid such a problem. Let me know how it goes, good luck!
Thank you. I will try that today and report back
Yup, that was it. Rookie mistake I suppose. I did make a full nandroid backup before wiping any cache and installing the flash and apk just in case I get "com.android.phone has stopped working" again, but I just opened YouTube and it's ad free. While I was at it I also installed WiFiKeyView and the memory leak patch for 5.0.2. Thanks again!
