XDAIIi - Alpine need advise.

I have just aquired 2 faulty xdaIIi`s. I dont yet have the manual but does the xda dock charge the xda with only the usb cable connected to the pc or does it need the ac power cord aswell ?
1 of the xda`s wont power on but has a red led showing constant top right hand corner, is that charging ?
the other pda`s port connector had come adrift from the board which I have attempted to resolder, it now powers up but doesnt appear to charge, gives a power warning and the red led flashes.
can someone please advise.

It charges from the USB cable.
The charging light is yellow / orange, changes to green when charged.
Red light is alarm / notification light.

Strange. My dock won't charge the phone without the PSU connected.

[Q] not showing charging sign but battery does charge

suddenly my note stopped showing the charging sign (lightning) when i plug the charger via charger or usb neither the sound is played, but in fact the battery does charge and the battery indicator rises...i tried resetting the fone but it didnt work should i flash it?

[Q] Slow charging notication remove?

Hi,
I don't like the unnecessary notifications so first I removed the usb debugging notification by adding persist.adb.notify=0 to build.prop.
Now I am searching for a way to get rid of the slow charging notification while plugged into my laptops usb port. Anybody knows of a way to remove this notification?

Low Baterry Notification

Hey everyone
My problem is that everytime that htc one m7 is low on battery and I plug the charge it starts to pop-up low baterry notification every second, its imposibble to manage to phone when its charging.
for example:
its like I plug and unplugged my phone from charge many times.
How can I delete the low baterry notification ....???

Turn off Wireless Charging Notification Sound?

Start music, set Note5 on charger, music stops to ring-a-ding that it's charging.
I searched around in notifications and battery, but didn't see any settings for disabling the sound. Did I miss something, or do I have to try to manage my music without picking up the phone off the charging plate?
