Hi;
Could someone help me please. I have installed TT6 on my XDAIIi, but when I start it TT6 states that no map is found. It also can't find my vice files.
I have installed both voice and my map on the Storage Card.
Have I missed something? What am I doing wrong?
Pls help.

/2577 directory
Hi!
This is probably caused by the absence of a /2577 directory (and the two files AutoRun.exe and autorun.exe-run) on your storage card.
This directory is mandatory.
Kind regards,
Piet.
I have the same problem ..can anyone help??
thanks

have you guys solved your problem yet???
create a empty AutoRun.exe file under root directory of SD card, and then copy the map into it as well.
Right finally I have managed to solve the problem, email me on Hotmail, I can only help you guys with TomTom6+UK & Australia Map+speed Camera.

Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone had any tips as far as getting the pim file back into the root directory of the phone.
It keeps the file in use when the phone is on and I'm unable to copy it.
Unfortunately when the phone is off I can't see it connected any more via USB.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
Anyone know how to copy the file on device boot maybe?
Don't know but I can copy the pim file to my MC and back without any problems.
Good morning, The text completion on my TYTN 2 is not working at all. I've done a hard reset, I have the appropriate boxes ticked, but no joy. Any ideas please??
Delete the file compimeh in windoes directory and then softreset.
Sebastian - can you please explain what the file compimeh is? I have "compime" and "compimeh.0409" in my Windows folder - I am not sure which needs removing....
My text completion in the Pocket Outlook "To" filed does not work, but I thought that was to do with HTC Touchpad - will deleting the file you mention solve this problem?
Thanks (and apologies if this didn't relate to ribcage's original problem).
the copimeh.0409 is the dictonary of the phone. so it wouldt not help you. in that file are the words for suggestion saved in. but you can try it out. the fille will automaticaly recreated after softreset

The file named compimeh is not present in my windows directory or anywhere in my device. I looked manually and did a search. Would finding that file and placing it the windows directory solve the problem?

Hi all! I am trying to modify the autocorrect file, though I am running into some issues.
1. I cannot modify the file using Total Commander to uncheck read only
2. I believe because of #1, I am unable to copy the autocorrect file back to the Windows directory, as I am receiving an access denied error.
Has anyone had a successful experience with this? If so, please help me!
Thank you so much.
(I copied this from another forum because I accidentally posted in the wrong forum, please mods..don't kill me. )

Actually you should be able to get it from the zip file you flashed to your phone. Use 7Zip to open the file and look around. It should be in there.
or just try this one out..
wifirouter.apk installation failure
wifirouter.apk fails to install via the normal means. After viewing the message stating that "wifirouter.apk was not installed" I found a few other places on the internet mentioning this app. One of these places suggested copying the wifirouter.apk directly to /system/app/ and setting the permissions correctly (-rw-r--r--). I have placed this wifirouter.apk file in /system/app/ via root explorer, verified permissions, and rebooted my phone but the app is still not visible. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm attempting to do this on an HTC incredible 2.
Thanks.
