Hi All!
I saw on the forum Keyboard and KeyPad from HTC Touch working on Kaiser.
I've found the .CAB with keyboard and keypad and installed it.
The problem is - I get only the full 40-keys keyboard!
The choise between Keyboard and Keypad doesn't change the keyboard's layout.
Could someone please help me?
regards,
Bacownik
try opening the keyboard and keypad when you are in an text input field such as after you select new sms, it should change the one you are wanting
You ARE very very right !!!
Now it is working !!!
Thanks a lot
cheers,

no i mean i dont want to use qwerty keyboard
i want the traditional block input method
Use the Touch Input keyboard if you want numeric keypad (it also has compact qwerty).
It comes pre-installed in the Cyanogen ROMs
Like I said in the other thread you started on the same topic, try Any keyboard:

Swipe to the left a few times and you will get to 1 - 9
Hi guys, first post! Loving the forum by the way, very helpful. I'm not sure if this is the right board to post it on but I need help with the Launcher Pro shortcut editor / creator. Basically all I want to do is to create a dock shortcut that toggles wifi, and maybe one for mobile data so that it is available easily on any of my homescreens. Is this possible? I don't really understand the editor but it would seem possible is anyone knew the intent etc for this action?
Looking forward to any suggestions!
Mark
Anyone at all?
no idea how to do it - but there are plenty of other apps that will do that for you
Possible - Try Tasker
Don't think this would be possible as the dock can only hold shortcuts, not widgets.

Why don't you use the default power widget?
But Tasker allows shortcuts - Task
you can use quickdesk. its pretty much a second home on top of the existing main home your using like launcherpro. you just double tap home button and brings up an overlay of anything you want to put on there for shortcuts or widgets. pretty handy and accessible while doing anything like being on the phone. just double tap home and there ya go. i know its not what your wanting by the post. but it does do pretty good.
Thanks for the replys guys, most helpful! Yeah not as keen on a widget, wanted it on the dock so it's there which ever screen I'm in and doesn't take up any extra real estate on screen. I'll give that quick desk a blast though
I just installed this rom, but I am facing some issues:
1. At startup Launcher pro is fails to launch, I need to force close it all the time.
2. When I open & close an app from app drawer, phone doesn't returns to it's app drawer screen, instead it goes tohome screen.
3. I tried the camera.apk , but it doesn't zoom, even after setting volume keys to do that operation.
4. Contacts looks very messed up & mms.apk don't have option to select the contacts, they only appears when i start typing letters.
Please tell me how make the whole appearance more easy & functional. Thanks
I love the keyboard, but i realized i never use the enter key on it...and I was wondering if there was a way to replace the enter key with lets say a little optical joystick thing? Kind of like how the Incredible had the optical joystick or whatever you want to call it....but have it as an onscreen thing.

Smart Keyboard Pro has an option to change it to smileys. You can customize the smiley menu so actually you can make it anything you want. So you can set it up so just press that button to say "Hello" (idk if theres a character limit on it)

I appreciate the respond but i was hoping that it someone could customize and put a joystick or something in there...just so when i have paragraphs of text it will be a lot easier to navigate through and fix words...the size of the enter button is comparable to the size of the optical joystick thing on the Incredible and the actually joystick thing on the Eris...i know its wishful thinking just thought it would be neat.
I am with you there. It is a bit annoying to change letters by clicking and picking that blue picket to move it to the letter you want. Being precise on a captive touch screen is basically non existent.
I believe the keyboard app mentioned above has the ability to add arrow keys. I will check and update.

Smart keyboard pro has an option in the general settings to "show arrows". So as stated above it is imo the best choice.

Yes there is an option to show arrows. I don't use it because I'm pretty used to where to press to get where I want. But i remember a few years ago when I first got into Android, I did need the arrow keys and they did wonders.
I've got a Sprint HTC One (M8) running BadSeed's stock rooted 1.54.651.8...
I have 2 issues with the keyboard:
1. For apps that want numeric input, the keypad has no decimal-point, just 0-9, back and enter.
I ran into this using the fuelly app, which is just a front-end for the website m.fuelly.com.
Maybe they're marking the field as wanting the wrong numeric type - I'm not sure, but it worked with my Evo 4g LTE.
2. So I installed an alternate keyboard app (smart keyboard), but there doesn't seem to be a way to change the input method anymore.
Long-press in an input field doesn't do it, and neither is there a keyboard icon in the statusbar while doing input as some have suggested.
Does anybody else have these problems, and if so, know any solutions?
Ah - found a workaround to #1...
Accidentally stumbled across the fact that when a keyboard is up, you can swipe the whole thing left or right to get alternate layouts. (Who knew?)
Still don't know how to switch to a 3rd-party keyboard though, but for now I no longer need to.
