Buy a signal led sticker, and stick it on the back.

This question was asked and answered some time ago.
The mini hasn't got an led.
You can simulate this via an app called noled.
Search on market, interesting app. Maybe something to try.

Hi,
is it possible to use Capactive Buttons like Notification Led?
(is a good question?)
Actually thats a nice idea. Does anyone know if there is such an app for that?

SGS has this kind of app, shouldn't be hard to make one for O2X
the most better is if LG made that in the Optimus 2X natively

Perhaps someone could ask them... nicely
Also the buttons could show us if the phone is charging....would be really cool
You know NoLed for Galaxy S?
Did it work on noAmoled Screen?
NoLED would be useless on an LCD screen : it would probably work, but drain all the battery in a few hours, since LCD screens draw the same amount of power no matter what is being displayed (whereas amoled screens don't use any power when displaying black areas).
Using the buttons is a great idea though !
Doesnt this phone have notification LED ?
No it does not have one.
Oh well Thought that was standard on Android phones. Have to cancel my order then.
Bump don‘t let this to get forgotten

Agreed.

Will need sources first...

Have a good NEWS for those who miss the LED notification by sms / mms, missed calls and emails.
Noled made for SGS, also works for LG Optimus 2X.
just please, do me with it and it works super!

Download and install with astro or similar programs.
Into the program and set it up as you want!
And then you have the LED notification on your screen.

Its not possible, because the Galaxy Ace S5830 doesn't have a front camera.
That thing at the top is a proximity sensor, which is used during calls.
Maybe has has the galaxy ace from the future with removable back camera

Removable DSLR dude...Not camera
may be ace has front camera but samsung has disabled it on purpose so people will buy its high end phones. And as the OP flashed a custom rom,the kernel might have messed with some thing so front camera was brought to life for a while!
Perhaps by using webcam and using extension usb-to-microusb to the ace?
Cheers
Or may be he is using Galaxy Ace 2, c'mon! May be he's serious xD

Hi, I just wanted to ask you guys, it seems that my i8190 does not have a light sensor, also, i cannot set the brightness to "automatically" in screen settings.
So, does Samsung Galaxy S III mini have a light sensor?
Thank you in advance.
No, it only has a proximity sensor and the VGA camera next to the speaker grill.
It also doesn't have a notification LED, which seems to be a "premium feature" nowadays... X(
you can get it from custom rom like cyanogenmod

Well, if there is a light sensor, i can imagine that a custom ROM can access it somehow and make auto brightness possible.
BUT, there is no LED, so that is something we can never expect to be in any custom ROM, or am I wrong ?

Have you looked at settings->motion ? If it's what you mean, just enable or disable, or look at the context menu there.

I've not yet used note 2. But are you sure that extra motion does exist on note 1. Here we are in the note 1 forum.
I read that there were some devs trying to port to s3 but it required extensive modding of framework, still in progress. After that quick glance may be ported to note as well.

Hi !
All my calls defaults to the Galaxy gear spekar. Every time when i make a call or receive a call I had to change from bluetooth to handset.
Is it possible to change this behavior ?
Im using a Galaxy Nexus, with cm10.2 , and the Galaxy Gear is using Null_13
The best would be if the Galaxy Gear only pick up the calls if I Answer the calls on the Gear !

You probably need officially supported phone/rom...
I know on my s4 stock rom, call goes through whatever I answer on - car/glass/watch/phone
My N5 on the other hand seems random

Your phone sees your watch as a Bluetooth headset that's why. The only way other than a s4 or a note 3 would expect the ability to install gear manager on your phone and for every app to work properly.
