Has been cured by installing juice defender. (Plus version) before sometimes it would wake up. But be laggy and pulling the battery the only option, same as full on death to get it running again.
Running what would have been nightly 71.

Since upgrading to 1.2 I have noticed that the annoying connection failure when waking up the unit is gone. I rooted at the same time so it may be due to that, but I am happy to not have to re-establish a connection after letting the NC sit.
Have others noticed this change?

I have found the same. It has been flawless since the 1.2 upgrade. Really happy to not have to toggle the wifi all the time.

I got that problem on CM7 as well. around 80hours or so, my phone feel slow.
Running on CM7.
Had the same problem on stock. On CM7 I regularly get around 200 hours without slowdown, never tried to max it as I flash a newer nightly quite often.
I never reach that amount of hours since I have 3 replacement batteries and I exchange them instead of charge the phone.
I asked about the same problem a while ago: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1146731
The problem is internal SD I/O slows to a crawl after about a week or so without rebooting. You can confirm that with Antutu benchmark app. Worst I've seen is 3MB/s write.
I've tried stock roms (up to and including Hong Kong v10d), MCR Fr17, 19 and Gr1 and all exhibit the same slowdown. Now I'm testing CM7 but so far it reboots due to one reason or another.
I get a bsod after about 3 days and nights of uptime.
I have the same problem... My old Desire HD is lightyears faster, even though it has an uptime of 600 hours, where mine is freshly rebooted. I wish I never bought that LG piece of crap.
Same prob here, after 55h.
Using cm7 #126.

reboot your phone, should work then ...
Okay, CM7 #127 with VorkKernel dated 1st Sept has been running for over 140 hours and the phone is just showing first signs of performance decline -- Apps launch a tad slower and music stutters very occasionally. Other than that, and WiFi stopped working again (seems to happen every time when uptime is > 100 hours), the phone is perfectly usable.
There is no doubt CM7 has fared a lot better than other ROMs, but seems to me that anyone who's looking for a phone that can run for hundreds of hours without issues, they need to look elsewhere.
After over 210 hours the phone was finally crashed by the low battery warning.
Even i was experiencing that problem n then an hour later when i unlocked the screen the phone suddenly rebooted..anyway it became so slow that it was very annoying to use it..guess i need to restart it every few, hundred maybe, hours of uptime

Hey! Currently I am on the Django Manouche 1.5 beta 4 with Gueste 1.8.1 kernel. Wifi on, 3G on, gmail and facebook sync. My battery is fine when phone is in standby, about 0,5% drain per hour this night. But when I use my phone, doesn't matter what I am doing on it, the drain is pretty high. Maybe 3% battery lost in 10 minutes. This must be wrong? Any suggestion what could cause it?

3g uses a lot of battery when sending and receiving data
Sent from my LG-P990 using XDA
I woul say its very good, you have 5,5 hours on screen time with 3g on.

Ok, then I guess my battery is good, maybe it's just me wanting more than I can get
Sent from my LG-P990 using XDA
my phone drains battery quite differently depending on baseband while running the same rom. also there are kernels and roms that makes the difference.
I also think about 6 hour screen time is pretty good. It's better than I have with wiui.

On which brightness is your screen?
Your battery life seems very good. I get ~2h display on time with a full charge, but my screen is set to highest brightness.
My brightness is about 30%, thought I sometimes turn it up in the sun and forget to turn down again. 3% battery lost per 10 min was just an estimate though. Haven't measured accurately.
Sent from my LG-P990 using XDA
You could activate the automatic brightness when you got some problems with this.. I use about 2% in 10 Minutes when my phone is in use but i'm always on 2G and no WiFi etc..
Hey guys I get good battery when the screen is off. But whenever I use it, it seems like it drops pretty rapidly.
What do you think?

Depends on what you did during that period.. If the processor was running at MAX frequency the entire time, yes thus might be normal.. Also as I notice from the screenshot, the screen is always in in that time frame.. So you deduce from this

No. It's broken. You should send it to me.
Hi,
Thats an abnormal drain. Try restarting your phone and seeing if the problem persists. Also note that the ROM you are using is still under testing and not a finished product so might experience some difficulties. Consider shifting to a more stable ROM if problem persists.
Having said that, battery drain will depend quite a lot on what apps you have running in the background and your settings.
Best way to analyse the situation is by installing an app called 'Better battery stats'. Its by a XDA member and if i'm not mistaken he offers it on XDA as free download. Try to see what is causing partial wakelocks and kernel wakelocks (your phone should be on deep sleep mode for the majority of time). Try to see what MHz is your processor running at (it shouldnt be in the 1400 range for too long unless you are playing some heavy duty games)
Also try to search for threads on 'wakelocks' on XDA to get more details on this subject.
I have experienced close to 10% drop in 1.5 hr in stock ROMs and around 15% in five hours on CleanNote ROM in idle states with lots of background apps disabled.
I was satisfied with my battery's life.. untill now. I haven't flashed any new ROMs or kernels recently and after 4 hours of medium use (around an hour of facebook, 3G) there's only 38% left. Any advices?
Running CM10 stable, Mackay's kernel. This combination used to give a perfect battery life for me. Screen brightness is the lowest.

Something's keeping your 3g connection active is my guess, and your device awake obviously...

Consider using any sort of battery analizer like THIS one. Usually helps you solve the issue.
3G is off all the time, exept when I am actually using it.

Buy BetterBatteryStats and find out what the problem is...
Also how are you sure 3G isn't on? Do you turn it off manually? Mine doesn't shut down when I put the phone to sleep, for some reason.

my wife was complaing of fast battery drain after updating to jellybean (from GB)
googling around and from betterbatterystats it seems to be mediascanner thats doing it, i think that soemthing is continually looking for new media on the sd cards
I didnt find an answer except to go back to ICS, which is going to be real soon if no solution
anyone have a better way?
Odp: Battery, seriously?!
Go to settings > applications > find download manager and force stop it. Believe me, it works, I had the same problem it keeps the media server still running, so when you shut it down, it will stop draining battery.

i had similar problem on CM10 stable, media server was draining about 60% of battery over night. Did some google search and found that you have to ways to solve it: play any mp3 from media player or reboot SGS. i did both and it helped.
Then I got BD on radio (3g) and didn't find solution so I changed ROM.
