Is there any chance that one of you incredibly talented devs/themers could make a CM7/MTD friendly flashable zip file of the boot animation from this link: Nexus Prime/Galaxy Prime Boot Animation
I think our fascinate community would greatly appreciate it - I know I certainly would!
just copy the bootanimation.zip to system/media using root ex and reboot. Or take an existing boot animation flashable zip you have and replace the bootanimation.zip within the archive and flash away.

I finished an awesome boot animation in After Effects resolution 480x800 @30 fps but my lack of developing skills stops me from making it a flashable zip. Could you give me any links? Thanks and sorry for a stupid thread

Use my tweaked nexus s boot animation file from link.
Download pull my boot animation file from zip and drag drop yours
Then flash threw CWM

Do you have the bootanimation.zip? Also which Rom are you taking the animation from and which Rom are you applying it to?

Put the bootanimation.zip out of your rom into your /data/local directory. That's all.

2)Also, if you search the forums, there are some threads on custom bootanimations.
3)In play, there is an app that gets and changes bootanimations for you. Not tested it, though.
