Quick question.
I am trying to change the some fonts on my phone. I know clocktopia, droidsans, and droid-sand bold are the main fonts for most of the phone and applications.
But there are like 15 other fonts listed. What are they for. Or at least can someone tell me which one(s) are for the desktop and app tray? Thats really the only font left Id like to change.
Thanks.
Anyone know?
Are you on ICS

So, I'ld like to change the font of the widgets on my home. I'm not asking how to change fonts, I know that.
I just want to know how to know what font a widget use (for exemple DigiClock Widget) and if it's possible to give it a custom font without have to change the system font ?
Thanks

Digital clock in specific picks up ur system font. Most apps also do that, although some allow u to download market font packs and use those instead.
I know, but is there a way to know witch specific font it's using ?

Em most of the time, the apk will have an asset folder, with the font file inside it.

how 'bout fancy widget??? will that accept your system font???
EDIT - geez, just realized how old this thread was... but maybe a hit by someone....
I downloaded font changer from the market but I don't have any fonts on my phone. I can go into the the advanced section to switch specific fonts, but I would like to just change my general overal font. Where can I find these fonts and where do I put them on my phone?
I just noticed there a bunch of fonts in system/fonts, how do I switch between these fonts?
I download the fonts I like as .ttf files from websites like dafont.com or from the fonts folder on my pc. I put them in a folder on my SD card and then use font Changer to apply the font to my phone. Dont reboot from the app, reboot using the power button.
After reboot, you system font will be changed. Be sure to choose a readable font like sans as it will affect everything on your phone like the keyboard, websites, apps, etc. If you want fancy fonts for certain widgets, apply them using that app if the app allows for custom fonts.

You can also just pull them from the font folder I'm your computer. That's where i got mine.

How to reduse font under the icons on the desktop? What file (param. in file) in Rosie.apk or somewere is answers for it?
Yes, Font Changer works fine (needs root).
Anyone know how to change the fonts used in "compose mail", in the mail app?
I'm on the Revolution ROM (Gingerbread), & I think the font is Times New Roman - I'd like it to be Arial (so nobody can tell if I'm sending mail from desktop or mobile )

Interested in same question as the font is too big and the font size settings don't alter it...
Are there any icon resize apps, running ICS AOSP tablet mode and would like to have bigger icons. Been looking around but just can't find any.
Appreciate the help!

Not that I know of. However, maybe you could use Text Icon creator? It creates text icons with any font size you want.
OK so I'm looking to theme my tablet up to look like old school honeycomb (I hated honeycomb's lag but loved the look!). So I've started to edit some fonts to have the honeycomb look but here's the issue: my notification bar clock uses the same font as the entire system font (RobotoRegular.ttf). So how can I take my system RobotoRegular.ttf and replace only the 0-9 digits and the comma with the honeycomb ones from an AndroidClock_Solid.ttf I have from honeycomb? Yes I know the numbers will show up through the entire system, but I would rather have that than this boring clock in my notification bar. Thanks!
