Hey Guys,
is it only me or am i wrong experiencing JVP roms als extremly unstable.
If you chose LiveWallpapers i experienced freezes ... even when i turned them off the freezes didnt leave. (i tried this with no apps installed)
When surfing the web i experienced freezes.
I tried nearly every custom JVP rom and the stock. for me it freezes all the time ... i flashed back to JVO ... everything was normal.
I flashed the JVP roms once on a fresh Odin (repartition) JVH base ... then i tried with a fresh JVP base. Always chosen the wipe rom versions.
Is JVP that unstable? Or what could be the reason.
Thx for anwers in advance. Will hit the thx button for usefull answers
cheers!
try wiping cache and dalvik cache after flash?

It is better to wipe everything before flashing so that you ccan start with a clean and fast system.
So you should wipe:
- data (factory reset)
- cache
- dalvik cache
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA Premium App
No Problems at all with F1 SGS V3.0 ROM.
Very Stable, Fast and Awesome....
Strange ... i wiped everything before flashing including dalvik, cache, data, dbdata
I used F1, Criskelo, Juwe, Bezke ... Now Trying Continuum :0
Sometimes the phone is not wakeupable after Standbye and i experience the mentioned full freezes for example when using flash in browser
Have you tried to wait more than 5 min at the first reboot after you flash JVP rom?
Let it rebuild and complete the configuration by itself.

Hi guys, I flashed rocket rom v22, but im stuck at the bootscreen with the rocket theme animation on repetition. Rebooting doesn't help either. What can i do from here?

I put the new GingerDX v23b rom and now my xperia keeps rebooting after the SE logo.I reflashed 015 baseband i eventried to flash alfs kernel but its still restarting and no one else has the same problem .... I also installed from xrecovery soem zip with some alfs addon dont remember what was it it was right after i installet GingerDx v23b please help how to fix it
xRecovery? No, you should install with CWM. Do this:
Install GingerDX
Make a full wipe
Flash the Alfs vold update (I think it's already included in GDX but anyway)
Flash the addon (adreno libs)
Wipe cache, dalvik-cache
Reboot.
Hi Folks,
Iam currently running KingDroid v3 on my note with franco kernel 3.0.15 and would like to install Rocket Rom v7. I have kingdroid overclocked and is running very smooth and fast execpt it reboots every now and then (very rare). I am wondering if rocket v7 can be overclocked or would I need to install franco kernal after installing it?
As far as I know I would need to do the following to install Rocket Rom v7:
1 boot into CWM rocovery
2 factory reset, clear cache, clear dalvic cache
3 reboot recovery
4 install rocket rom
5 install superuser through cwm if I loose root after install
Did I miss something? Pls let me know.
Cheers,
Farhan
anyone?
1 Boot in recovery
2 wipe cache + wipe dalvik cache ( optional u can run jbroid kernel cleaner script)
3 Flash abyssnote kernel
4 reboot back in recovery!!!!
5 full wipe (wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, wipe battery stats)
6 Flash the new rom
U should not loose root but if that happens on the first page of Rocket rom there is a file named cwm super su. Download that and flash it in recovery as you would with anyt rom and y should have root back

Once you have successfully installed RR v7, the abyss kernel will be replaced by the kernel in RR v7. If you want you can flash franco kernel. Abbys kernel is for GB rom only.
Hello everyone,
Yesterday I flashed the Alfs Kernel v9c CM7, and on top of that I flashed GDX v29.
The first boot worked seamlessly well, after doing some settings, i rebooted my phone in CWM and wiped the cache, dalvik cache and batterystats.
After rebooting my phone got stuck at the kernel animation for like 2 hrs!!
I did the same thing with nAa kernel but till now no prob like that occured...
So can anyone help me with a solution??
Thanxx
Maybe you could wipe cache, dalvik cache and try again.

I did that....the prob that i found was to format system , data and flash again...i couldnt do this everytime i reboot!!
Interesting. That's not supposed to be necessary unless the previous kernel has a different partition table, or uses /system, /data and /cache in some way other than the way normal kernels use them. I'm glad that you were able to solve your problem.
