Okay call my adventurous or maybe stupid but could someone tell me if there is a thread that can help me with my issue.
I tried loading the AT&T Rom on my Bell I9000, thought it would be cool to try, but now I cannot get into download mode. I have been reading some threads and I guess loading the Rom has changed the three button configuration, then to add insult to injury when I plug in the phone to try and use adb it kills the USB connection and I cannot get into download mode this way either! Looks like I have a matching set of SGS bricks for a Christmas gift for someone!
Thanks in advance for anyone who might have a solution!!

Are you talking about the Verizon Fascinate or AT&T Captivate? There is no "AT&T Fascinate."
Sorry dude, that's a tough situation. Not to be rude, but why the heck would you be the first one to try this? It's incredibly risky flashing a ROM from a different device without knowing what will happen first. IMO the quantity and quality of I9000 ROMs is better anyway.
Hey,
Sorry for the confusion it is the AT&T Captivate Froyo Rom, thought it would be better then all of the European Rom's that I was flashing but I guess.......I WAS WRONG!!!
Flashing a captivate ROM onto SGS is never a good idea. Bad things happen.
if all else fails, you can make a usb jig that triggers download mode. theres a few threads on it around here somewhere.
actually here it is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=819551

Amen. See Exhibit A =(
I think this is one of many side affects of the "consumerization of XDA-Developers." We have users without adequate knowledge trying things that they never should.
Well I guess this is the reason that I have moved away from Android based phones! There is a great deal of room to interpret the information that many experienced users take for granted and unfortunately the end result for a newbie is only frustration and cost!
One Android User Down!!

Sorry, but that just plain common sense. You don't flash symbian on iphone. Captivate is a different phone.
That said - your not actually ****ed. Just go to google and find out captivate download button configuration. It was something like vol up, vol down power. And flash normal firmware.

All experienced users started at the same stage as you.
Except we READ the forums, asked QUESTIONS and gained knowledge.
Then when we were SURE, we flashed our first firmware.
OK...Power off the phone completely...hold down BOTH volume buttons and plug the USB cable in. DO NOT touch the power button. You should go right into download mode.
Hi,
Just wanted to give an update to my situation, and I followed the advice about the usb jig and to my big smiling face, success, reflashed a new firmware and my SGS is ALIVE once more!!!!!

Does anyone have any knowledge of working QPST? I bricked (yes I take full blame) my g/f's Vivid while trying to update to ICS. Just like various others on here it appears everything has been deleted from the phone....including the bootloader. But after a couple of days of working with it I have finally been able to get windows to recognize and install the qualcomm drivers. I have installed the latest copy of QPST and it recognizes the phone on com6 in download mode.
Does anyone have ANY IDEAS?? The sad thing for me is I traded my g/f's iPhone to get her this Vivid....so there is no way to exchange it under warranty. Any help would be appreciated.

QPST is for very very low level nand access, it can even change the partition tables, if i were u i would be EXTREMELY carefull using it.
I understand the dangers of using QPST......but being the phone is already bricked and there doesn't seem to be any way to resolve the issue without sending the phone back to HTC, I am willing to try. So, I ask again, does anyone know how to use QPST??
RIFF box is the only option!! I guess
I am online checking out the RIFF box....have you already ordered one?

No i dont , But I have a friend who does, else I wil just take it to Local HTC , im sure they can fix it !!!
Riffbox doesnt support our chipset.
You need to find the hex files for download mode in QPST and go from there.
OK. Do you have ANY idea where those can be found?

PMed.
To anyone looking for answers towards the QPST route:
Start googleing, I haven't the slightest clue where you'll come across the .hex files for our phone.
For anyone hoping that Riffbox will soon support our chipset:
I wouldn't hold my breath, HTC has started to implement "JTAG fuses" (Kinda like on the Xbox) so even if it was supported, your chance of JTAG access is very unlikely.

In otherwords, we don't have the phone firmware required (.hex and .mbn files which I neglected to put in my previous post). The Sensation, on the other hand, does.
Sensation firmware =/= Vivid firmware
Hi Travis , can we be atleast sure that HTC can fix it !!! I hope its not beyond REPAIR LOL
Bring the whole phone back to AT&T (at one of their warranty centers), you should at least have a one year warranty. Tell them that one day it just stopped working.
Even though your warranty may be voided, they won't be able to find that out if it's bricked. If they want to find out, they'd have to unbrick it first.
So, one of two things may happen:
1) They will not ask any questions and replace the phone.
2) They will put it under a deeper inspection, unbrick it, and say that they can't go any further because of the unlocked bootloader (but, the phone will not be bricked anymore and they'll just give it back to you).
This is only a theory haha, don't quote me and say it didn't work.
hope a fix can be found soon, I have one too

did you send the phone to them? did you got it back? did you had to pay anything?
Can anyone help me get Drive link to work? I've tried so many different types of Roms and set-ups. I'm now starting to talk about it in my sleep!!!
I have Alpine X8 - every time I connect the note it states "this device is not supported". Apparently is has something to do with the TMServerApp.apk, which I've tried installing as a system app on several different Roms.
Can anyone help me I really love my N7000. I don't really want to buy a new phone.
Thanks Rob
Anyone???

Is there anyone out there that can give me any hope? Should I just go and buy a Note 2?
Hello All,
Very desperate here. I was continuosly flashing firmwares to my htc one, then when i flashed the last one, and did the fastboot reboot command, it shut down and never came on again. No charging light to blinking lights nothing. I tried the little tricks i found online like holding pwr btn along with VOL+ and - btn.
Is there a way for me to fix this phone. Really really important photos are on it.
HTC ONE M7 PN07120 CID CWS__001 ATT.
The story.
I flashed the first firmware, then i noticed the wifi is not turning on so i went to look for the stock firmware, did not found it. Tried other firmwares until it lead me to this situation.
I am calling on the experts of this forum.
I live in guyana so no ATT/ HTC repair center.
There are quite some reputed repiar guys here though but i dont want to take it to them just yet, i like to try first.
Also when i plug it in my pc it show installing driver, one amongst them was QHSUSB_DLOAD
Please, i really need help.
Thanks so much in advance.

@dexter93 method saved my One ...it was amazing
Hi guys,
After a couple of weeks trying to solve my problem, I couldn't help but submit it to you all. What a shame!
I received an old HTC one m7 by a friend who is so rich he can afford to give away such a smartphone he gave up using it since he has a problem a few months since he bought it. The phone stopped working, so he asked a friend to repair it so he could use it again. Well, the guy who modded the phone (I don't know who he is) said the phone could not be reset, and he should have modded it with a cooked ROM.
And here we are. He flashed a ROM I still can't identify, with an improbable CWM recovery in Thai language. This ROM is jelly bean based, it's widely bugged and speakers don't work. Since my friend couldn't use the phone to make calls anymore, he switched to an iPhone (heart attack!) and abandoned this amazing phone.
Now I have the phone, and I'm going crazy trying to find a solution to bring the phone back to it's old glory. Since I'm a poor owner of Sony devices, I have no idea of how to mod an HTC, and unfortunately many guides on the internet expect that every single person on this planet knows what they're talking about.
Here are my troubles: I don't know how to check if the phone is S-off (and I have no idea of what it means) or what is its CID (what's that?!). I can't flash a twrp recovery, and I can't speak Thai, so I can't use the current recovery. I don't know if the phone is branded. Bootloader is different from the ones whom I find the screenshots on the internet.
Can anyone solve this enigma?
Here are some screenshots.

Yeah your right about 1 thing, its old
that baseband is something ive never seen before
everyone on here is going to ask you this question, and so am I, we need your fastboot getvar all without the IEMI and serial number, but as you probably don't know how to use that, then do this for now:
hold down the power button and select restart, whilst the phone is shutting down, hold down the volume down button, don't let go until the phone comes back on, should come back on to what is known as the bootloader screen, please take a picture of this and post it.

Also tell us what your phone's original Model ID is. It will be written on the back end, at the lower side.
That way we will get the idea of your query from which region the phone was made to work and on which network.
Because seems like it's firmware was converted.
Here it is! Does anyone know Thai? Or Chinese? Or whatever the hell is this?
Model PN07100
Does it sound legit?
I'm gonna try to obtain the getvar thing by googling some guides.

That's Chinese. And does not look like the HTC One M7 bootloader screen. The ROM also did not look like stock Sense 5 (bits of it did, but that might just be HTC apps installed from the Play Store). Get the fastboot getvar all results, but for now my suspicion is that it might be a very nice looking clone.

That is recovery mate not the bootloader, did it boot straight into that by following my guide ? the picture below is what you are looking for and should of booted too:
Guys I'm amazed! :'D
Well, it's probably a clone. I've just found this on the internet, I've checked the battery and... It's 1600MAh!!
Damn, those Chinese guys take cloning pretty seriously!!
Enigma solved!
I'm wondering if there is any chance either to flash a ROM or to update it, because speakers and Bluetooth don't work.
It's an HDC clone.

Yep sorry to tell you but this is a fake HTC One No software or firmware for HTC One will work with this device.
I wonder if the rich guy bought a clone or the friend who tried to "repair" it swapped it for a clone LOL
