No, try once more. I experienced it too. It was solved by pulling the battery, waiting a full minute, then entering recovery (whilst booting).
If that fails:
- Flash stock ROM via flashtool
- Root (or not) [oneclick or flashtool]
- Flash nAa 11via flashtool
- format /system & do full-wipe
- flash miniCM7 2.1.9
- wipe Dalvik cache
- wipe battery stats (optional)
- reboot!
Trust me, 2.1.9 is a great improvement over 2.1.8
Yes
I have this problem too...It just comes without knocking the door
i think that it is a problem about kernel...
actually i'm waiting for the next update of minicm7 and nAa kernel...
What is your CPU setting

can anyone help me ?
Ok try this steps.
1ownload gingerDX v13 and put it in the root of your sd card.
2:Rename it to update.zip normaly you dont have to add the .zip caue the file is already zip so you just name it update.
3:Before installing it make a FULL WIPE.
4:Install The update.zip gingerDX v13.
5:AGAIN MAKE A FULL WIPE THEN REBOOT YOUR PHONE !
6:Allow it up to 5-10 minites to boot.
Try this steps i made and tell me how it went.
Also make sure that your phone is baseband 015.
Settings->About phone->Baseband version->M76XX-TSNCJOLYM-53404015. If you have not this baseband, read this thread about basebands.

I dont know really what it can be, but maybe you got wrong xrecovery you should install v.0.1 for x8!?
Try reinstall your stock android from SE do full wipe, clean dalvik cache, than root your phone again, but after rooting your phone restart it and check it. Than start xrecovery do full wipe and clean dalvik cache and try to install ginger again......let us know what you have solved

Are you really giving the phone enough time to boot? The first boot always takes a bit of time..
Also, format your sd card and install gdx only with the zip file in it then try to boot without the sd card.

Hi everyone
I had this problem on miniCM7 2.1.9 and because of that i changed my ROM to GingerJH V5 using the same kernel (nAa11 - i tried ALFS kernel but I lost operator signal)
the problem is when i choose reboot from reboot menu i shuts down and doesn't boot up again so i have to turn it on with power button.
I think it's a bug for nAa kernel...
I'm waiting for UR opinoins

um.. Thank for you help but the problem still can't be solved
it might be a kernel prob.,which kernel u r using..?Use latest Naa kernel, not alfs ...then reflash the rom
wifi disconnect
try downloading the old market first, i think its 2.6.1 version, just google it then install it and replace the play store.
try to open the old market in your android and let it update,
i used this method on my e16i with mini cm 7.2
hope this helps you

Sorry for my unclear ans, I've installed nAa-ICS kernel
do you know why my mobile phone lcd screen are flashing by itself?
I had flashed the kernel and full wipe...
is it showing the frames updates, perharps? Cause the ROM I am using right now has that option and you can see every time a frame is updated. Try looking in the developer settings.
Simply go back to the stock kernel and ROM, if the screen is still flashing, it's a hardware issue.
Agreed with IHawkeyI

before i installed V1 of this rom .
and in V2 i install it same.

wipe /data
wipe /sd-ext
wipe /system
wipe/ dalvik-cache
and kernel nAa ICS 4
and when i unlock the bootloader and .... it means baseband 15.
but it stop is XPERIA logo
Unlocking bootloader doesn't necessary mean xx15 baseband.
Have you fix your bootloop now?are you on stock?
Go to "about phone" and see what it tells. If it isn't 15 upgrade it with pccompanion
Have you ever flashed any custom rom before?
