[Q] X8 cant boot

my X8 stuck at the alfs screen after i flashed the kernel...
what shud i do??
experienced users pls hlp me!!!

yes its rooted and i did full wipe..
but still cant boot

Try again, First Flash ur kernal then install ur Rom and then Reboot Phone

try another version of gingerdx..

now it can boot...
i use pc companion to reset the phone...
i the reinstall the alfs n GIngerDX v22
but i think v21 runs smoother in my phone...

Pink led problem after flashing miniCM7

just flashed miniCM7 2.19 and nAa 11
when i start the X8 it freezes in less then 1 min and a pink led is showing
any way to solve?

Try full wipe or new fresh instalation..maybe solve your problem

I saw somewhere in dev's forum that the pink led is a kernel panic, try to download the nAa-11 again and flash it. Hit the thaks button if i help you

i want to try miniCM 2.1.8 with nAa 10... but i need mirrors for them becouse the main site wont work (403)

No, try once more. I experienced it too. It was solved by pulling the battery, waiting a full minute, then entering recovery (whilst booting).
If that fails:
- Flash stock ROM via flashtool
- Root (or not) [oneclick or flashtool]
- Flash nAa 11via flashtool
- format /system & do full-wipe
- flash miniCM7 2.1.9
- wipe Dalvik cache
- wipe battery stats (optional)
- reboot!
Trust me, 2.1.9 is a great improvement over 2.1.8

i think that it is a problem about kernel...
actually i'm waiting for the next update of minicm7 and nAa kernel...

[Q] flashing lcd screen

do you know why my mobile phone lcd screen are flashing by itself?
I had flashed the kernel and full wipe...

is it showing the frames updates, perharps? Cause the ROM I am using right now has that option and you can see every time a frame is updated. Try looking in the developer settings.

Simply go back to the stock kernel and ROM, if the screen is still flashing, it's a hardware issue.

no...
so in 1 minute, my phone turn on by it self 2- 5 times..like flash
did I flash wrong kernel,,,cz I using minicm7 2.2.1 and nAn kernel -11 :cyclops:

I had that problem with MiniCM7 2.2.1 and Alfs-CM7 v08a kernel.. Flashed nAa-11 kernel and no problems 4 me no more...

I had also been like that...but any person said that I must flash the alfs

Flash Alfs kernel for CM7 not for gdx!
And don't lie! Because yesterday you say that you install gzr!

Network only working on stock kernel !!!!

hey i was using minicm7 and wanted to get back to stock so i flashed stock rom+kernel evrything was fine
when i flashed nAa kernel again and flashed minicm7 network didn't work it just shows error and doesn't work.
i tried alfs kerenel alfscm7 kernel and tried alot of roms like gingerdx and firedroid and htx miui etc..........
it didn't work when i went back to stock it worked and it's this way network is only working on stock kernel
what to do????????????????

Hi xda i have an x8 with kernel alf v8 and firedroiod ,overcloock at 768 .
Yesterday my phone has reboot when i was on internet ,i was think that is hapening and
i entred again and my phohe has reboot again.
I was make full wipe but the phone is sit rebooting plis teel me what to do that my phone to not reboot.
I am a medium user on android.

Change the cpu frequency.

your hardware simply cannot stand that oc. lower the frequency.

I have already tried it at 600 Mz

Then start over. Flash kernel again and reflash Rom and be sure to use compatible kernel and flash if there are any fixes to be flashed

I have change the kernel now is alfs V9c ans rom is firedroid 2.4
The phone is stil restarting but not so frecvent.
