Is there a way to load the html by default when opening emails? pressing 'load more details' for every email is getting somewhat annoying.
I assume swapping email clients will lose me split view mode, which would also be annoying.

Whenever I compose emails I have noticed that despite having two or even three email addresses listed for some entries in contacts that I am only given ONE to choose for the new message... this is despite settings to display ALL email entries. (I usually input address of new email by entering name of recipient on the address line rather than open the contacts and search through the A-Z).
Has anyone else had problems opening attachments with Blackberry Connect on the Kaiser?
I can open and read normal emails fine, but when I try to open one with an attachment, there is a moment where the busy timer appears, and then it crashes and returns to the home screen. Task Manager shows the app is no longer running, so for some reason Messaging just can't handle them.
I've tested creating a new account to receive my Yahoo pop email within Messaging, and that can open attachments fine, so must just be the Blackberry account causing trouble.
Does this affect anyone else?
I've been messing around with SEVEN, and it seems to do everything I want (sync read/unread status, deletion) except I haven't found a way to archive email or search through All Mail.
Are those two things possible (or do you have to use the web interface or the java app)?
Seven treats gmail like any other imap server (at least for e-mail fetching functions, though I think the configuration is tweaked to deal with gmail's unique folder layout and have things work fairly seamlessly with what appear as "labels" in the gmail interface.
It also is limited to getting mail from a certain time period, instead of everything on g-mail's server.
So all you can view and search is what's from within that time period -- for anything else, you'll need the java app or web site.
Thanks for the info!
Too bad you can't archive email... There isn't a way to set up a label with a filter, so you can instead just move email into an archiving folder?
Also, is it possible to get the preview in TouchFlo 3D to show the content of the email? (it says "Click to view message" instead of showing me the head of the message).
I'm sending or "sharing" some pics from the gallery and it seems to me I should be able to get to contacts to select addresses. Is there a way to do that instead of having to type in all the email addresses? The gallery part is really immaterial I guess other than it is a natural flow of steps...
Edit...
Turns out you can't. switched over to the regular email app.
Is there some setting I can't seem to find that allow you to always by default Display Images when viewing HTML email in the mail app?
Annoying to say the least when you read an email and have to keep pressing the Display Images option at the top.
Thanks
Guess that is a no...or time to hack the apk
