HTC Mail App "Display Images" - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there some setting I can't seem to find that allow you to always by default Display Images when viewing HTML email in the mail app?
Annoying to say the least when you read an email and have to keep pressing the Display Images option at the top.
Thanks

Guess that is a no...or time to hack the apk

always displaying email images in OL

Anyone know of a registry hack to ALWAYS display the images in HTML email on OLM?
My email goes through at least 3 sets of spam filters before it get to my device so I'm not really concerned about web bugs or whatever they are called.
Thanks

How to stop emails auto-deleting

Everytime i connect to my mail server via the standard email client. Previous messages on my device will delete, does anyone know how to disable this so i can keep my old mails whilst retrieving new ones. I have searched everywhere for this (but ill keep my flame proof jacket handy just in case)

Click to collapse
Try changing the Email Settings to get email more than 1+ day.
I have looked through all of the setting but with no luck I cant seem to work out how to do this, is there a regedit for this at all
From within an e-mail account:
Menu > Tools > Options.
Tap on the account in question.
Now tap next (right soft key) Until you get to the screen with "Automatic Send/Receive" & "Download messages:"
Change "Download Messages" to whatever duration you want (including the option of "All Messages").
Now if your talking about a gmail account then the fix is different: Make sure your username is "recent:[email protected]" of course use your username where I put the underscores.
Both of these issues are documented within the forums.

always show images in Gmail

Hey guys did some searching already and I was able to find some similar posts but never one with the exact same issue. I was wondering if it is possible to set the native Gmail app to always display pictures? Yes its right at the top of the app but its kinda a pain to have to hit every time I want to see the pictures. My thoughts behind why google does this is to cut down on data usage for those who do not have an unlimited plan, but they could atleast include the option somewhere. Anybody know of any work arounds or mods that can be used to always display the pictures in the native Gmail app?
Thanks in advance guys
I Second!
Looking for a work-around on the Gmail app that will auto-show images from my CCTV system. Downloading attachments one-by-one can be painfully slow on Gmail so I'm using K-9 Mail from Market which gives me more speed in favour of the 'Batch Operation' = open email - all images load - scroll through images.
Even logging onto my account through stock browser is faster and shows a preview of all the attached images but not enough to define detail.
I would prefer an app modded or otherwise as sometimes my browser hangs on HSDPA and preview is not sufficiant.
Just to clarify, I would like to be able to tap an email and have the images load vertically down the page so that I can scroll through them.
Warm regards.

Exchange email "Show Pictures"

I have found a modded Gmail app to always show pictures but I need one for the default email app for my Exchange account. I'm coming from an iPhone and I'm very used to that feature. Also is there a way I'm missing to have the email accounts to auto fit the email to the screen so there is not so much panning and zooming. Thanks in advance!

email - 'load more details' by default

Is there a way to load the html by default when opening emails? pressing 'load more details' for every email is getting somewhat annoying.
I assume swapping email clients will lose me split view mode, which would also be annoying.
