Where can i buy in-ear earphone for the Note? the one received with the Note got damaged (by me). can not find a similar piece with volume and media (audio) controls. Please guide if these can be bought from some store in Mumbai.
Have you asked in mobile stores or looked on the web?
Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk
Yes... I looked up several online Indian sites and equired at leading retail stores. Surprisingly even the most basic accessory with call management system is not available for such an expensive and good phone
Have you spoke to Samsung?
Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk
Yes... They too have the answer as 'no'. Very very surprising as the phone is doing quite well in India. Ppl will require genuine accessories
Thats not good.
Have you looked on E Bay?
Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk
I visited ebay.in and found few sellers with the required earphone. But the prices varied a lot and honestly some friends have had issues with products purchased using that site. Though the seller refunds/replaces the product, it is very time consuming process and constant follow up is required. How do these guys have it with them when even samsung retail stores do not, is the question. Anyways thanks for the suggestion.
Because they buy them as Samsung does not seem to be interested.

hmmmm. thanks guess this will be the only way.

Anybody know anything about android-sale.com ?
Are they scammers or a legit business ?
Im thinking about buyong a cheap tablet for my daughter this christmas
Hi there jalabert,be very careful of these unknown web-site,
I have sent them e-mails about their products and so far have NOT RECEIVED
ANY REPLY???further more they do not up-date their web-page at all !!
Looks suspicious you should always buy a very cheap screen protector or something before you buy a $250+ phone to see If they are legit
re:
are they really scammers.Because I am willing to buy stuff from them.
any update??
Its seems that they do update there website and they do have a nice will updated blog...

Do you mean that your phone never arrived or it hasn't arrived yet? I bought my phone form this site and that was all very easy and fine with paypal.

Why are they so cheap?

Because they're the China made rip off phones. They'll look how they should but the specs won't be as they normally would be.

Yeah, I was coming to say HDC One X FTW
There is too much WIN in that site.
OK, just buy from Ebay or Amazon. Done.
If you want to order something from a shaddy website, go on. Not saying that it's a scamming site, but i have never ever heard of it and i would advice to keep the f away from it. Is 5-50 worth it? No. Buy your device or "thing" from a genuine place and don't get cheated. .
Easy peasy.

Hi, I've bought from them and my order turned up no problems. Paid with PayPal too.
On the same topic, has anyone returned something to them for repair? I dropped the phone I bought and smashed the screen. Just wondering if anyone has had any experience returning to them for repair or returning something to China in general??
Thanks

Hey,
Trying to find a genuine, NEW Samsung battery to give new life to my used Nexus S. Any one have any ideas? It seems like all the ones I find are either used, or probably not real...

Did you try asking Samsung? I have been on the same mission to get a genuine battery, I emailed their customer support asking about buying a genuine battery in the UK and they responded within 12 hours:
In regards to your enquiry, all our official accessories and spare parts can be bought from the following sites:
www dot samsungdirect dot com/uk
www dot 4mysamsung dot co dot uk/
If they don't have the parts you require, you can contact them directly to enquire.

4mysamsung dot co dot uk has what appears to be a compatible Nexus S battery (GH43-03359B) and ships globally (shipping to Canada is £8). If you ask there might well be a Canada
(I also saw www dot exportprive dot com recommended on here for genuine Samsung batteries, apparently they export from Korea so it may be a good option)
(Sorry for the URL mangling, xda-developers won't allow me to post full URLs)
I got one on Amazon, from Samsung. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0026LQL40/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00
I also got an extended battery too, but I lost NFC with it. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005D7T7EK/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00

Hi apprentice thanks for the reply seems not many people bought from Jessops, i see they have now gone kaput same as Comet .the warranty when you buy anything in the uk is in fact with the shop you purchased from what you mentioned is the manufactures warranty which is a different thing altogether i e if you bought a Sony tv from Currys and it failed you would be able to claim from Currys not Sony.
True but that's only if you purchased a separate warranty from Jessops. In the UK You are covered under the manufacturer's guarantee in all cases of defect, provided you registered the product and have the receipt.
The only disadvantage would be having to send the camera back with inevitable delays in getting it repaired or replaced.
You won't in essence be stuck with a fault that cannot be rectified through Samsung.

Condolence buddy hope you manage to find something else soon. I loved jessops the staff at my local store in the trafford centre were extreemly knowledgable they seriously loved their jobs and we're in my opinion camera enthusiast first and sales person second. I numerous times went in after buying my slr for help and they helped me no question asked
It is a real doing shame jessops was one of the only stores you can go on try and then buy online can't replace that

pls someone in the uk must have bought the black version , I need to contact very in the morning and I need to know whether it comes in a retail box ?? .... I am concerned ive been sold either a customer return or refurbished camera
The camera looks new and has upgraded to 4.1.2 and is BTU as my galaxy note 2 is however im worried why it hasn't come in a retail box and secondly im concerned when I come to sell the camera it wont sell for as much without the original box
Will Samsung if I give them the serial be able to help me tell if its new / refurbished or second hand
Thanks
All their kit should come in a retail box, sealed.

just what I thought, very advise that if a retail box is damaged they will supply in a brown paper box which is not good enough
ive spoken to Samsung who advise me to return the item which im going to do

Hmmmm, at the very least include the box in the package, with a note, stating we think it's just superficial damage but if you find a fault send it back.

my thoughts exactly !
I had several stories from very saying 1. if it is a damaged box we replace the box to 2. this is the way Samsung supply them !
funny cos Samsung say nope they come in a retail box
They then tried the oh you cant return cos you turned it on .. erm distance selling regs I took care and only looked at the item to make sure it was ok (before deciding it wasn't suitable therefore returned back as new) also I needed to get the serial for Samsung before they would speak to me and couldn't see it on the camera cos it was tiny
After some discussions, pictures took of the said item for evidence and returned back to very for a full refund
off to john lewis tomorrow to get a proper boxed camera
Sammy even replied back to me on facebook advising to return it back to very
very naughty if you ask me !
Just picked my camera up from John Lewis oh guess what is in q Samsung box . Think my very account is going to be closed

Really? Wonder why, I only heard about their good warranty service because of a bloke across the road has just bought a Nexus 7, he was gonna get it direct from Google but, because it was the same price from JL, he got from there simply because of the extra warranty they throw in.

I always buy from matter what as they run Rings round anyone else.
The girl I spoke to today wasnt sure why it didn't have 2yr but the other question is why has sammy only given 12 months all their other products have 2yrs
I thought £47 for 3 years peace of mind through john lewis is reasonable though

I can't relate to most of it and seems most others can't either. The storage issue is understandable, but I though Samsung was going to address this in a future update.
And I don't understand giving it "1" in all other categories for one failure.

To me it looks like HTC fanboys are overwhelming the s4 reviews. Most of the 1 star ratings recommend the HTC One.
I used to be an HTC fan boy, but their apple approach and gs4 converted me.
Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk 2
Those are crap reviews. They aren't based on anything other than the storage. Just htc fan boys. They don't seem to mention that the One has no expandable memory. No removable battery. An aluminum body that will easily get messed up. I've always liked htc products, all my prior phones were htc. However, the lack of sd card and removable battery killed it for me. The One that my Co worker has is already all scratched up and scuffed from being in his pocket. Does anyone know how much storage is available on the One?
Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk 2
I had the One before I got the s4. The expandable storage didn't bother me at all, and had tons more compared to the s4. Was really shocked to see how little storage there is. But an sd easily takes care of the issue. I don't have many apps anyways. Personally just need storage for music and backups/ROMs.
The phone looked great as well, but a 3" drop really messed it up. Also the vibrator inside was loose and would rattle, and almost none of the trim pieces lined up, including the screen.
If the phone was built better, I might have kept it even though I was never able to successfully stream a YouTube video on the mobile network cause the signal was to crappy.
So far, glad to be back in Samsung.

I stopped going to best buy back in 2007 let alone reading any review from them. Go and ask Geek Squad to fix your next broken PC and you'll see what I mean... I'd rather buy my electronics from a crook on the street than walk into any Best Buy.
The only reason to buy from best buy is their warranty
Other than that they seem very biased
Yeah....anytime I see 3 similar negative reviews and all 3 of them recommending the same alternative product (HTC One), all credibility flies out the window.
Wow these guys at best buy lmao.
