Hi! I record rap music for over 4 years. Looking for people from other countries that also rap record and they would be willing to record something with me. Waiting for a proposal.

SOunds pretty good. I'm not into music recording so I wont do anything with you lol. And you have high chances of winning the competition.

1 or 2 program zic with an equalizer but no program to boost the bass or do like all MP3 player!
Strange no ?
As a person who enjoys quality music, I'd tell you to use your headphones to color the sound rather than the player. It's better to have more bass-responsive headphones than to boost bass and make it sound like crap, if bass is what you're looking for.
Just a note though, most people don't even know what the heck bass is, and seem to think mid-bass is good.
Sorry for the rant. I guess I appreciate quality more than most people.
Soaa-, I agree with you - half anyway. I have pretty damn good earphones - and it's always good to have an EQ, even if someone doesn't have good ear/headphones - or if they are using the Hero's speaker/s, it is still nice to have an equalizer - to change your music into noise - or to make it seem less tinny. Or whatever.
Bottom line: We need an EQ app; at the same priority as an app that can play your music backwards and at different speeds...
How hard can it be?

Famous last words...
Anyone else HATE when stinking youtube videos are accompanied by music.... usually loud and annoying..
for example.. I go to check a few games and emulators for winmo... 9 out of 10 didn't have original audio.. just really loud gangster rap.. or trance music.... Freaking annoying no matter what kinda music
Should be in the Off-Topic section .
If I where demonstrating something, I usually just blab on through the whole video lol.
I mean, you said it was off-topic,
but this is like waaaaay off.
To solve your problem,
make sure to give it a 1-star rating, and make sure to mute.
But cool music is awesome!
Typically Evanescence, heavy medal, or techno are most preferable for annoying demo videos.
Ok, cheesy reason for asking...
I've a friend hundreds of miles away in my hometown who's a drummer and a massive Queen fan. I've recently got into Rock Band, and wanna send him a video of his favorite Queen song (when I can play it decently).
But I'd prefer to run a line-out from the TV into my recording device... my GNote.
Does anybody know if this is possible, or if there is an app that can do this with the GNote?
Hey I was driving home from work where I safely put my phone "hands free" and had it record over some loud music. I embarrassingly sang a little bit too, to show the recording capabilities.

Well, that definitely sounds better than when I've tried to use the N4 to record anything loud, but it's hard to tell how that volume compares to what I've tried to do. I'd love it if someone could record the same loud source on both an N4 and N5 to see if the microphone is any better or not.

Hello guys!
I want to buy this phone but the sound recording quality is importante for me. I´ll record meetings and, sometimes, from about 3 or 4 meters...
Can anyone say if the sound recording quality is good? My question is becuase it is waterproof... maybe it will make the recording quality below average?
Thanks!

It really depends.
I've seen some people say that it was bad (according to their opinion)
But I've also seen that said there was nothing wrong with it.
The Z3C has 3 recording settings (in terms of sound)
Silent, normal, concert (something like that) so I guess you'll have to play around with those to see which fits the occasion best.
Here are 2 random videos I found, And in my opinion the sound isn't bad. Based on my own experience it's not bad either, but I'm not you, you need to judge it by yourself.
I'd say go to a store if possible and just record some stuff. (Please note that the Z3C doesn't come with a build in sound recorder app so you'll need to get one from Play)

My experience so far is based on two scenarios.. Concert and alarm test messages. Both are absolutely great in quality! Using sonys audio recorder to even record stereo audio.
Sent with my Sony Xperia Z3 Compact with Tapatalk Pro
I have not done extensive testing regarding sound, yet, but from what I have done I am impressed with the default sound. It has a wide sound stage, but very clear. However, I have recently purchased Sony's STM10U Stereo Microphone which works on the Z3 devices. There is also Sony's audio recorder app that works with this mic to download.
It really adds a studio type control, blocking out all external sounds, providing a more focused sound. Great for concerts. Comes with a wind cover which is handy for blustery days. This way, I have all my sound options covered.

If you record regularly I'd suggest investing in a decent mini microphone that plugs into the headphone jack. I find the built in mic no better or worse than other phones I've had, but have not done any detailed comparison.
I have found the sound quality absolutely perfect with the Z3C!!!
I play in a band and have always been jealous of how well my friends iPhones have been able to record our band practices. My z3 compact is loads, loads better than my galaxy nexus or HTC hd2 but still not as even good as the iPhone 4 I'm afraid when it comes to recording at very loud volumes.
I'm also using the Sony audio recorder. It works well but the files are massive and can only be saved on internal memory.
