Hello, you are the owner of Xperia X1 and some days I see a black screen. It happened after I opened and then closed the track and suddenly the colors and pixels began to disappear until the screen became black.
I opened the phone, I got the ribbon flex and everything seems fine. No broken or cracked (not even). Once I touch the screen appears black work but now I noticed that not do anything you give him the finger.
From what could be the problem? After what I read were others with this problem but we found no concrete solution.The phone is no longer under warranty.

why is the blue screen? The phone works, can speak on it but not see nothing...

Sad thing happend with me, 4 days ago i fell into a river and sadly ma diamond was in the pocket. I dryed it for three days, turned it on, everthing else works, besides the screen light. So i dissambeled the phone to bits and pieces, only i didn't took the LCD out(read it from somewhere that you can't put it back on afterwards so it will work). I reassambeled it and still same situation. If you look it from a angel you can see the icons and even touchscreen works. Only problem is still the backlight. So is there something i can do to make the backlight work again or i have to buy a new screen and is it hard to swap the screen ?

Not sure if you will need to replace the screen, if you can get to the power settings you can see if the backlight has been manually turned down. If this fails and a screen replacement is required i will tell you how easy/difficult it is once i have replaced mine, due to unfortunate circumstances.
yeah, i got into the power settings, everthing is okey there like it should be , so i have to change the screen. Is there some kind on intrcutions for changing it? it would help me a lot
Hi i got samsung galaxy s 1 month back ,today when i am browsing widgets from main screen Display suddenly started to show fading colors with multiple horizontal black line and phone is hanged,i waited for few seconds hoping it will return to normal but continuously all colors lost slowly with white screen and multiple black lines.then i removed battery and restarted after which display is fine with no problem.
so anyone experienced similar problem and what should i do if it happen again?

Hey mate,
I had the same problem with an I9000 international a while back, it was a hardware fault and the phone was replaced by my carrier. (at least that is what they told me)

Today when i pressed side key to turn on display there are three white lines on display when i drawed pattern to unlock phone lines disappeared!
this is hardware problem? should i go to customer care?

My phone did it intermittently when i was using it, not just on certain screens, it was almost random. Sometimes it would work perfect for 2 days then just have the same problem you described.
My RMA sheet from Samsung said:
Tested Main PCB
Tested Display
Handset Hardware fault
Replaced Handset
Passed live air tests
Passed stress test
So based on the above, my phone was ratsh*t

i have problem. i have droped x8 from about 1m and when i get it in my hand the screen was black.
Probably the screen is broken. But before i orded new i have open my x8 and see that screen is not broken or something like that.
there are no color just black. and sometimes when i press it harder i get vertical green line.
is this the screen or the hardware on my phone.
I have check the mbo but its seems fine...

i dont know i was just put another karnel and rom.
and its just fall from my pocket becouse i have the hole -.-
and its just black screen. i have order new lcd from ebay. But i will kill myself if the mbo is dead -.-
IMO if You turn on Your phone and You can see green light and feel quick vibration than only the screen (or digitzer) is broken. So if You replace it with new one everything should be fine.
yeah its light up green the led and vibrates. but screen is dead. the digitizer is fine.

I got a phone from a warranty, where was motherboard changed. After that i was still unable to use phone because my screen didn't and touch work. So i decided to buy a new LCD with touch from eBay. I changed the screen, pressed lock button and everything was fine, touch and screen. I got used to phone like 1 hour but after that phone screen sank and went blackscreen,
My software is updated.
Any tips to get my screen working?

My device started last week with a stain in the screen that I can´t fix, has anybody have this happened?
It´s a yellowish mark on the top left side of the phone, haven't droped it or smashed it, or anything other than regular use, does anybody know?
