I noticed music stuttering in the past, regardless whether I used the default player or ^3(Cube) player. I believe this issue is solved by applying any of the usual lag fixes.
In my case, I'm running Cognition Rom 2.2 Beta7 with OCLF from the market. Haven't noticed any stuttering since applying the fix, but I don't listen to music all too often.
Ive searched high and low and flashed the galaxy s stock music player it was a no go, i was wondering did anybody get the galaxy s stock music player working on their nexus 4g? Ive seen other threads in the nexus s section but still no answers that worked I liked the player because it had it a built in equalizer and overall a good simple music player.
Wont work because it requires touchwiz framework. That's why it force closes. Only way would be to have a touchwiz rom which we dont. Hope this helps.

Ahh really not a touchwiz fan anyway thanks for the response
No problem.
Hi ! Could someone pls give me an alternative to stock music player on the market which is a free app ? Not so happy with stock music player and though I have Android music player as well, it squeaks- like lags sometimes between tracks and plays. Stock player runs smooth but I don't find the punch like MIUI players, or even close to it. I can't use Voodoo sound cause I use XXJW4. Thx !

I just flashed my GT-P6800 with QuickSilverCM 0.2 ROM and I found that there's no video player. I tried most of the video player on Google Play but none have the tile preview like the stock video player. How can I get the stock video player back or any other stock system application that I like back? Thank you.
Sorry i am at work without my tab I just wanted to say it would be awesome if we could get the sgs3 stock video player with the pop up video play
edit: I just remembered the stock ics rom posted here didn't have a video player included in it either. Maybe samsung is trying to get the pop-up player to work and isnt there yet.
I can pull the apk from my tab for you, but seeing that you are using a CM9 rom, the app won't work since it needs touchwiz.

Nevermind then. I just reflash with stock ICS for now until I found a better video player. (Have to do this since my 2 years old daughter always play with this tablet to watch videos)
MX player
Try download MX player form Market , it's awesome
Try Zeta 3.0
Hi guys i was wondering if is possible to port the htc sense stock music player that came with the htc One to the google play edition rom. I kinda love that music player. Any other music player similar to that with the gracenote option that updates your album covers will do the work if it cant be done. Can you guys help me?

I don't know about a similar one since I use sense roms, but most sense apps are almost impossible to port because they require the sense framework to work. So to make the music player work a Dev would also have to port all the "under the hood" parts of sense. Its a massive amount of work for little pay out.
