Hey.
Anyone else had problems with FLAC playback on their Notes? I am super frustrated trying to work out why some FLAC files only playback part of the songs but others seem to work fine. I've found the same problem with the stock music player, Meridian, Cloudskipper and Mortplayer.
I've copied the FLAC files from the Note to other devices and they playback fine...
Any help would be really appreciated because I have a lot of FLAC files and it is the one thing that is holding me back from saying the Note is an awesome device...

I have successfully installed WP7 on my HTC HD2 but when i am trying to listen music (MP3 files) using Music + Video, the music start playing but there is no sound. Can anyone please help me?
Thanks in advance!
Are the files encoded with some weird codec. MP3 works fine for me. Try some generic MP3 at 128 kpbs from the net and report back.

and i'm using the modaco fr19 ROM. if this is maybe a problem?

hmm you are right!

thank you!
Hi!
PowerAmp is a very good app
But in CM7, the stock app can play Flac file
Mp4 m4a songs lag, but mp3 always works perfectly why?
i tried every new ROM as same issue, before it worked with no lag 4 months back.
i had SanGinger Ace.
i use Foobar2000 converter with Setting Nero AAC mp4 codec with 36kbps CBR m4a Output format to encode music for my mobile phones, this always saves a lot of space & no loss of quality is felt on mobiles & even computers.
I think either Ace doesnt have proper codecs or our processor cannot handle the file properly!
Wait...u say it worked before? :what:
Hi,
Upgraded to the S10 and as I have my own music collection, opposed to using Spotify etc. I have various file extensions to play. With the new phone I wanted to give Samsung Music a try as i liked the look of it and because it should be able to play most, if not all audio files. Unfortunately Samsung Music won't play some of my .m4a files.
I checked if the files are protected in Windows Explorer - Details and they don't.
If it matters I have the files stored on an SD card in /mu/..
I've tried Foobar2000 which is the player I used on the old phone and it plays the files with no problems.
Solved: Found out it only supports .m4a files with AAC and not ALAC.
Sorry this won't help you but ive noticed the samsung player has been stripped of all it's features
No more tube amp more more concert hall no more surround only crappy Dolby.very disappointed oh and the edge lighting has gone i loved that So if you like music don't buy the s10
