What keyboard do you guys use? I personally use swype, it is the best keyboard when single handed. I know some of you like slideit but swype is completely free, and all features are available in the free version.
Your vote is much appreciated.
Swiftkey 3 Beta
Swiftkey is good overall, but it uses too much RAM.
I sometimes notice lags when typing inside Chrome Beta.

RAM is there to be used. There's no point on having a lot of free ram just to see the little number "FREE" and enjoy it.

Yes third party keyboards do take some ram, that is why I almost only flash roms that support bigmen. casual use slow down is minimum, and again, ICS performance IS improving, although we may never reach the degree of fastness on gb, it's getting close.
oops! accidentally beamed from my awesome NEXUS S!

Stock keyboard rocks for me.
Stock keyboard is my favourite when i have two hands available, it's very fast and AWESOME/awkward auto correct
Swype for me still.

After using SlideIT I can't go back to typing, swiping is so much easier and faster. I also like the free skins. Even though Swype may be better I acquired SlideIT when it was free and it has been great for me.
After many test now i'm using smart keyboard pro ! Max customization , and many skins ! The best

Swiftkey for me!
I always used swype, and I loved it, until I first used swiftkey, who had the best predictions I've ever seen. Since that day I always used swiftkey, I have even tested swiftkey 3 beta, and it is awesome, but still a little bit unstable on my device. Can't wait for the official release.
Smart Keyboard Pro all the way

For a french having to send texts/mails in different languages, having all the dictionaries at the same time without having to change the language and the keyboard layout is VERY convenient.
From what i know Swipe doesn't have this option. And I have no idea for the other.

I'm currently using miui 1.8 and the android keyboard is terrible on it. I've downloaded Go Keyboard but it's still not very good and has a slow response, although it's better than stock. my question is does anyone know of a good keyboard to use with miui or how to fix this problem? There was a beta version of the new swiftkey a few weeks ago but they shut it down. The only thing close to that would be A.I. type beta. However, its not as intuitive as swiftkey. Unless you want to pay for swiftkey or flexT9, I would recommend just downloading the new swype 3.7 from the forum

Aye lass. Each to thine own
I personally love MIUI - best of what iOS should've been but... its ANDROID!
I love the music player, browser, widgets, and over all customization you get with it.
Not to mention I like the general layout and options - you can tweak just about everything in it.
I like the lockscreens - you get a ton of different options.
Not to mention the theme the community puts out.
The only thing I don't like (at no fault to MIUI) is I take a hit in battery life.
What kernel are you using? How do you use your phone?
Here is my initial build for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7. This is for the wifi only model which is the P6810. This is based off of the stock ZSLA1/ZSLA2 combined honeycomb firmware. I started with some components of Tweak Stock rom as I actually had no intentions of making a build for this tablet but after seeing a little bit of lag, one thing lead to another and well.. here we go!
Some key note features:
Removed majority of Touchwiz features
Majority of Samsung Apps removed
Deodexed
Rooted (duh)
Busybox
Modded AOSP Launcher2
AOSP Calculator
AOSP Calendar
AOSP Camera
AOSP Gallery
CM7/OI File Manager
AOSP Browser
AOSP Deskclock
AOSP Email
AOSP Google Music
DSP Manager
Terminal
Init.d script support
Extended Reboot options (reboot,recovery)
AOSP Honeycomb style theme (work in progress)
Removed lockscreen wallpaper - uses your homescreen wallpaper now
ICS Launcher icons
Dialer background from SSAASS dark themed dialer

Ordered my nexus 7 (x2) as soon as there was a button on the UK website. Now I know chrome is the default browser, so I thought sweet, I'll install it on my a500 so I can get used to it before the tab arrive's.
Omg, what a piece of rubbish, every time I change tabs from XDA to another site the page is just plain white, then back to XDA since it was already tabbed and loaded you'd assume it would still be, but no. Its plain white. Then to piss me off even more halve way though writing this post it crashed lol! What kind of a browser crashes inputting text lol. I wanted to like it, in fact I do like the interface but the bugs are just not fun!

I don't know about A500 roms but to me it sounds like a memory issue or something, its sort of "killing" tabs to save memory and then reloading them once you need them again. Maybe some background processes eating memory?

It does crash occasionly if you keep getting a white page it can clear by going back a page then trying again if not close it then task kill it after that it will be fine.
Overall I find it to be far better than std browser.
I'm a very "clean user" I have fb opera order and chaos, that's it. thinking though maybe one of the processes I have disabled, chrome uses, I disable everything I don't use, camera Calender live wp themes etc, maybe that's the issue?
It don't crash for me at all...works fine and it doesn't look bad enough to use something else

Note that this doesn't make your tablet faster but makes it feel faster (I prefer the word zippy)
Bonus: search Google Play for "seeder" - it is probably very good but I can't tell whether it is seeder that has made a difference, personally because I made a lot other changes to my tablet and I have a new router.

Thanks, honestly I did search under a few different keywords and I've had the nexus 7 pretty much since release and I've probably seen 60-70% of things in the Nexus 7 threads and I don't remember this precise one.

I ran it to, and it says the entropy pool is up, but you can accomplish the same thing with a sysctl tweak. No apps, nothing to flash. Rather have a sysctl placebo effect than installing something unknown for a placebo effect, imo.
