So I'm doing well with gingersense and I notice some people still use froyo. So would you all like froyosense weather I compile and modify froyo myself or port it from the desire or evo 4g. Would you all like froyo sense?

chances are that it would work with sprint without any changes needed. worst case you could use an eri.xml file to change the carrier name. all of the sprint roms will work on cellular south. i just wanna see one built from a CS image, and i am sure that there are several others here that would like to see it too.

Are you still helping PMGRANDS froyo rom?
cause its pretyy solid now, minus no gps, Mnetwork fc's and the camera is totally useless. but other than that, its sweet

I helped him a lot before and then I got busy with my own work. But if he needs help I'll be willing to help him here and there when I have free time between my work.

i have never ported a rom and never was interested in it until i thought why not try it
so i'm having trouble with the process but i'm sure xda can help me out

I'll try that after i finish my gingersense and/or froyosense port. I found out why i was having issues porting from the evo or any hdpi device.....you can't
So I'm now trying to port from different devices Hopefully this time all goes well and I have 5 different rom ports I'm going to try
EDIT: Whichever out of the 5 boot I will be releasing Its 1am here but I'm not going to stop working on the ports until 3am
Ill stay up waitn I'd love to test one out I need to flash something new haha
Also ok so I posted before about this but its super important to me is there any way we can somehow fix our heros to put out a infustruction wireless signal so the ps3 can pick it up I do it with my bros evo I rooted hacked ect and well my hero I really wanna b able to connect to psn like I do on my bros evo I mean on 3g cod black ops runs super smooth

Ya man i am in the same boat as you. We only have 2 roms..basically the same. GSM version has a few...sucks for us CDMA users

I to wondered what happened to the devs.
Well good news, I have a ton of free time, so I have been reading and researching, so I can make a rom.
My goal is to make an eco2 based rom zipaligned, deodexed, and touchwiz free. I'm on and own Verizon cdma tabs, unfortunately I don't have a GSM tab. Spacemoose has been helping me by pointing me towards the right research material, and so far I have pumped out 1 rom, but I failed to include settings, so when I went to fix it I borked it. So I'm starting over again.
But yes, I'm going to try and pick up where others left and at least try to get a tw free eco2 rom out.
After that, ill go for gingerbread.

moto also released the D3's source to sourceforge today. wouldn't that include the audio bits?
I am of course looking at the source for ICS as we speak..
Possibly even testing how the source compiles.
But, I don't want to send the wrong message. I don't think ICS will be usable in any real way for the D3 till I either get source built up for the omap audio stuff (or a new kernel)
I'm just toying around with it, and getting use to the new layers.

I've been following Hascode's CM7 since I got my D3. He's been great and the support and discussion on it is great. Haven't read too much on the release of CM9 but seems like ICS is the main feature it needs before its release. I'm excited to try more ROMS on the D3, great phone!

Look, it will take us a while to get it running but we will have it. Just relax.
I'd like to repeat: I'm not ignoring ICS
I'm actively working on it in my spare time between: D3 CM7 updates, Safestrap updates, and helping with the CM7 for Bionic.
Add to that: I'm also watching CM9 develop and doing testing there as well (I have 3 repo's going at the moment).
AndroidSims has is correct tho: It will be a toy to play with for the moment, even if I get it booting to the OS. No audio, no phone.
IMHO, CM9 w/ our current kernel will get us a lot further due to the compatibility issues. But, obviously CM9 will take a while.
First and foremost I did not make this rom!!Found this in one of the many korean sites being routed through lately.LOL now most of the builds found were mostly just ripoffs of something else with the exception of possibly this one?? Its a blur based rom running os 2.3.5 with fauxs kernel already installed.
I'm just posting this for the flash fiends who really wanted to try this out. It seems quite stable as I've been running it as my daily driver all day without issue. No reboots no fc's and to me its the most responsive blur rom I've ever tried! It boots and shuts off pretty much as quick as CM7 which was shocking!

Don't know what works just making it available for all the people who want it. as for screen shots? I gotta get an optimus v all set up to sell it tomorrow to somebody.I used it for texting, calls. web without issue. still plenty of stuff to be tested but I've seen no problems so far. Have no time for that stuff at the moment.

I tell ya what guys there are definetly some cool looking things in the status bar and such and the boot animation is really cool! Later on if I have time I will put up some screenies but right now I gotta get that optimus v ready for sale! I need the cash! LOL
Or in the meantime you could just flash it and see for yourself as I was the damn guinnea pig and found this on a korean site and flashed it! LOL At least you know someone has tried it first!

Hi guys I know this seems pretty far fetched but is anyone willing to develop a port of the GB MIUI to the Bionic? If its POSSIBLE why hasn't anyone done it? If it isn't possible why can't it be done? I'm still trying to understand why no one's attempted this task since it has been the most popular rom up to date and it seems like MIUI4ever has just dropped off the face of the earth as of late. while i'm a big fan of InSaNeMoD's attempt to port it properly i'm seriously missing my OG Droid for my MIUI rom.
I could try porting it, no guarentees though!
