Can a Master at moding phones contact me. I want to learn to do amazing things. When I learn we can work together. I know I can acheive many great things but I need to learn.

dont expect some one to hold your hand read learn java and Linux and really just play with the os. try to set up singeing by that's a good place to start also but linux on your pc and learn some stuff about terminal. once you do that and have a understanding of what all that development entails you can contact some devs on twitter or pm once you get stuck.
i just want to add i am by no means a master just trying help you out.

judging by your previous posts.... you should learn to use android as a user itself before you start modding everything.... not to be a downer, but "masters" want their apprentices to have SOME knowledge of phone. You will learn a lot more if you explore android yourself over the next few weeks. once you think you have experience, contact some of the devs here and see if they are willing to help. ive found that most of them are really irritated by noobs asking questions that have simple answers.
they seem to forget they were noobs too
(im guilty of this myself)
as for finding a dev here....the only dev ive seen around here in the last few weeks is jubeh (at least i think hes the only one lol)

I have explored my android I know many things about it. I know how to flash new roms onto the flash memory. I upgraded the radio on my old g1 and even the spl. I just want to know how to do amazing things.

Calling All XDA DeviantART Users - Get Android Some Love!

Go take a look over at DA, under the categories. You won't find a single category for our dear little Andy. Nope, nada, not even a wallpaper section. Of course iPhone/iPod has had its own section, which you have to expect.
But just take a look here at XDA, and you will see a wealth of talented individuals making amazing designs for our little devices. So why no love for Android? Its not like it hasn't been suggested. I first put in the suggestion back last August, and again a few days ago.
There has even been others suggesting Android at least get a section in the wallpaper category. And i think this would at least be a good starting point. But with the wealth of customization options for Android, DA seems like the perfect place to post all your wallpapers, icons, docks, and themes. There needs to be a whole new slew of Android based categories on DA.
So head on over to the link below; it will take you to Moonbeam's forum for posting new category suggestions. If anything at least post a +1 to the comment I love (I'm 'hornsholdmyhalo'). Or post your own comment about what should be added, and why it should. Lets flood her with the Android love
TL;DR - No Android categories at DeviantART, Go to link, post there should be.

Ah, gotcha. I used to live kind of close to there. I moved by Tyler now though. I just rarely see anyone from Texas on here or on DF's so it was surprising haha.

I stumbled upon DA a while back looking for Gingerbread Icons (or the ability to make them) and I very much liked what I saw, but I couldn't help but notice there was basically ZERO Android-based artwork ... and of course, no GB icons !!!
There are very talented individuals @ Deviant Art and I couldn't believe there was NO Android material !

Wel, maybe there are no specific categories for Android, but defintely there is some Android-artwork over there...

I agree, in the past ten years or so, at least in the U.S. this has been one of the worst fads. Listen to hit music, its all about clubbin and the "imma do me" thing. Incredibly selfish, but to each his own i guess.

I see this is going to go places we don't want to...all becuz 1 mod moved it out of the vibrant forum where it was most needed to be so the people that it was refering to could read it and get a grip on reality

I'm sorry but I have to interject here. You think MY post was childish? Stop for a second and study your title; I can hear you now going "My My My"...not very befitting for an adult if you ask me.
Being a relatively new member, you have not had the time to really aquatint yourself with how things work around here. We have an off topic section for a reason. Things that do not pertain to a specific device or are just rants like these, do not belong in the device forums. It was not wrong of the moderator to move your post, he was doing his job.
Also, disrespecting a moderator will result in a temp ban so I advise you to be more considerate. kthks.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS THE *BEST* ROM OR *BEST* TWEAKS
-everything that has *best* in it's name is mainly made by questioner's preference.
E.G
You would not say that CM7 rom is *best* if you want battery life.

STOP ASKING FOR ETA'S
Stop asking when will this be released or when will that be released. IT WILL COME OUT WHEN IT'S READY this is the main reason why great developers like Jusada and Nims11 left XDA so please if you don't want more great devs to leave STOP IT

In the midst of two zero double one,
I had my first android which I won,
As a guy who always want some fun,
My first adventure on flashing begun.
I search the net for what to do,

And then my passion begun to grew,
The time I found Miui, yes its you.
I was so disapointed that I cant reach you,
Because of my low end device that wasnt new,
That my X8 only run's in froyo,
But luckily there are gingerbread port before I knew.
The best eyecandy than other I must say,
From its unique features to how its display,
I used Miui v3, even on my dismay,
Even on my device it causes delay.
My obsession grew that I cant deny,
In my old shakira I must say goodbye,
For I have to earn for me to buy,
To experience the real MIUI.
Atlast its a dream come true,

Thanks for the obsession I had S2,
Now I can play and explore the more of you.
