Hi Guys,
you told me a lot of roms, great roms, i think i flashed my x1 10 times the last 2 days^^
but mostly i got the same problem, they had a short battery life...
So, what rom, in your opinion, have the longest battery life? Or are there any tipps how to improve the battery life.

If you are having such issues with battery life on that many rom's you may have a weak battery...what was the battery life like with the stock 6.1 rom?

Flashing a different Radio can improve greatly, or decrease battery life.
the best ROM for baterry life is Touch X 6.xx , this ROM is a legend for the best baterry life. try it, it's out of date ROM, but great power.
I recently tried the Energy ROM with Manila 2.1 and Windows 6.5.3 build 28005. The battery life is the best that I have tried in the last 3 months. It is also quite stable-

It was much better, altough on some flashed 6.1 roms. I got the feeling 6.5 needs more energy...could this be right?

Test as many radio as you want and see which one improve your battery life.

that is the best ROM regarding battery life by far. It is true it is "out of date", but don't confuse that with buggines. The ROM was very stable, if there were bugs (cannot remember) they were fixes in the appropriate thread. It was fast enough as well. I really advice this ROM to anyone who's major priority is battery life and not "the latest even if in alpha stage" ROM

I've been trying some few roms by now on JB, although battery life is poor 1-3 hours max on Hspda.
Anybody having some luck on a good JB ROM which gives you more battery life.
I've tried CM10 and Parandroid by now.

I know there's no a best rom, or that one rom is better than the other, but when it comes to battery, there are few better roms..

What custom rom for our ace has the best battery life?
Which rom, CM 10.1 (WAYLAND_ACE) JB 4.2.2 BETA 7 or AOSP ICS FINAL 4.0.4 MACLAW, has better battery life?

Battery life still depends on what each person does with their phone so what one person may say wont be the same for the next. Your only asking about two roms so my suggestion would be to try them both and figure out which one gives you the best battery life for you own specific uses.]

Whether I'm on the latest SlimBean, CM10 or CM9, battery life is always bad for me. I don't have draining apps and when the phone is idle it's not using battery at all. The problem lies within usage, when I'm using my phone, the battery life goes down too fast (when I'm using Whatsapp and Gmail. Especially when you compare it to stock.
I've done a bit of reading and many people suggest the Modem and Kernel files can have a huge impact on battery life.
So, I wonder, what would you guys recommend to increase my battery life during usage?

Hi! I am on stock unrooted. I want to try a custom rom. How is battery life, performance and overall stability. On stock i have 4 and a half hours of screen time. Cm based rom will perform better or the same at battery life? I want some reviews please. Sorry for my english.

I must say though, battery life on stock roms are better then custom roms, but it really depends on your daily usage on your phone. I'm using CM11 Infected by _infected as my daily driver at the moment, and my SOT is always around 4 hours++
