nope, changed, but still the same density
Cyanmobile settings worked for me you can also search for other LCD density tools on the market.

found one app...LCD density moder pro...works for me
just use root explorer, go into /system and opn build.prop in text editor (make sure mounted r/w)
look for the line in build.prop that looks like ro.lcd.density=120 and change the value to whatever you want it to be
save changes, exit, and reboot. your density should be changed to whatever you changed it to, and if you want it changed back, then look for your old build.prop which root explorer renames build.prop.bak as a backup
delete your build.prop and rename build.prop.bak to build.prop, reboot and you're back to standard screen density
i would rather do this way than having one more app on my phone's memory, plus there's a bunch of other stuff that can be tweaked in build.prop so really it's not a bad idea to be familiar with editing it and what each variable in it does
I hope you guys know that after changing density you will face a lot of app incompatibility issues?

So as the title asks... Why are all the fonts I install so small compared to the stock font?
I mean they are not "miniscule" but they appear quite a bit smaller than the stock font and are hard on the eyes.
Are they like this for everyone?

Even these ones ? http://www.appbrain.com/app/cleanex-flipfont/com.monotype.android.font.cleanex
And you didnt mess with LCD density right? (even though that would make all fonts small )

EDIT: So I installed that font you recommended but I dont really like it. Are there any others that you can recommend that will install full size?
I have installed some from the FLIPFONTS thread in Themes and Apps but they all instal to small.
Please let me know...

Hi,
Me and a couple of friends building a ROM now.
We want everything in the ROM to be small and it will look like the resolution is high, like in the SlimRom.
How can we do it?
Thanks everybody!
Try to resize graphics from every system apk... Should work.
In res/drawable something like that

Hey,
I wanted to change the dpi in order to let the icons on my screen appear bigger.
But I don't know which values I should set since I don't really know how this works..
So could anybody tell me the values which won't brick my phone?
Thanks

Lowest dpi - 170
ok but wouldn't this make the icons look smaller? Any way to increase density?

use lcd density modder pro.
if you use the free version you will get play compatibility issues.

I used this app once, you need root access and that's it, there is a higher density and does make icons larger, i would lower it though
is it possible to change the density(dpi) of sgm? currently its 120(ldpi) but can i increase or deacrease it?
how?
also is it possible to increase it to hdpi(260) or that's not possible?

ok i found it but is there a limit to how much i can increase or decrease it? like for example set it to 80 or 260 or something?
talking about the limit
then maximum should be 120 and minimum should also be 120
Up to 100 it is easily readable. But I tried it in cm9. It blowed of my status bar

Stop using big capital letters.
And agree, 120 is best density, 115 is good too, but all apps blow-up in that density.

Try mdpi themes. They work and usually don't need to resize anything.
ldpi themes are really rare, but you can pick any mdpi theme and they works pretty well. Don't change the density because it will force close some apps and you only have to wipe to revert back to 120.
Hey guys,
I want to change my fontsize.. In the Settings, I set the fontsize to "small", but in my opinion, it's to big. ^^'
Can I change the fontsize in build.prop or somewhere else?
Thanks for your help.

Download rom toolbox from Google play.. Loads of fonts, so I'm sure there will be something for you.. There is a free version and a paid version... Both versions do so much more though than fonts...

He means use those apps to find a smaller font. Some fonts are just smaller than others even at the same setting.
Yes I know.. It was just an idea, to change the fontsize in build.prop or in database..
But okay.. Thanks for ur help.
Just checked that font out.. it's looks small enough. But then, my eyes are going lol.
