Hello folks,
What baseband are you using for your SU660?
Please check out the poll over here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1658047
Perhaps we, SU660 users, can get better support if the developers see that there is a sizable population of us here at XDA.
Thanks!

Hello,
I am not allowed to post in the development section because this is my first post.
Nevertheless someone will find it useful to have a working cifs.ko for V10C.
Here we go:
i know english a little but thanyou all the same
How to install P990 custom roms on SU660.
8/26/12 Edit: This guide is now cross-posted and maintained at the Optimus 2x SU660 Android Development section. I removed the duplicate info here since that required me to update both pages with every edits and additions to the guide. Kindly go there for the full version of the guide. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1850967 I'm keeping this thread here for the SU660 users who are new to the XDA and do not have enough posts to ask questions in the dev section yet.
For the SU660 users out there, I hope my guide can help give you the opportunity to test more ROMs that many awesome developers are developing here at XDA. Feel free to ask here if you need help, and I'll be glad to do so if I can!
Thanks for your guide!
But my device has hard key (home key), and how can I use Harsh Kernel?
Hehe nice, I remember this guide from here.
I think you should cross-post it in the Optimus 2x SU660 Android Development section, I will then ask a mod to sticky it because it is something that's asked a lot and really usefull information! :good:

You can install and use the Harsh kernel but yes indeed, you will sacrifice the use of the home key.
So that means it requires you to have a ROM that supports soft key navigation.
That is how my ParanoidAndroid and Harsh Kernel combination is set up. I also have successfully used owain94's Domination #80 and Harsh Kernel combination in the past. After the first boot, be sure to go to settings to turn on the soft key navigations as the first thing to do and you'll be good to go.

It's done! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=30651969
Thanks tonyp for the great suggestion.
For those out there who do not have enough post over at the SU660 Dev section, feel free to write here.
FYI....
I updated the first post with a subsection that lists the p990 custom ROMs that have soft-key navigation, which would allow you to use p990 kernels on the su660 O2x phones.
If there are others that I'm not aware of that should be included, kindly reply and I'll be happy to update the post. Thanks!
I see 2 different areas, LG Optimus 4X Development and LG Optimus 4X Original development, since in both these forum areas there are mod-firmware discussions, I don't have understand what are the main differences.
I suppose that Original development there are firmware more similar to the official release... right?
I have used only one time a cyanogen firmware(a year ago with a Galaxy) and I have experienced a better ram usage but worsening of FM radio and photo and video quality (that for me are very important features)
Since I'm considering to use a Cyanogen again on this Lg I want to understand Generally pros and cons between
-Official Lg Firmware
-Firmware Cyano in Original development
-Firmware Cyano in Development
NOTE
In respect of forum rules
My request is not a detailed firmware comparison request, I need only to know the main pro and cons of each firmware category and their main differences
Thanks
What about thaking a look at "Original Android Development - what belongs here? "
Also, Questions should go into the Q&A section ----> moved
[q&a] [i9300][31.07>>sokp-v-1-kk444-ktu84q][sokp》》sonic open kang project][aio][w
Q&A for [I9300][31.07>>SOKP-V-1-KK444-KTU84Q][SOKP》》SONIC OPEN KANG PROJECT][AIO][Weekly Builds]
Some developers prefer that questions remain separate from their main development thread to help keep things organized. Placing your question within this thread will increase its chances of being answered by a member of the community or by the developer. Thanks for understanding and for helping to keep XDA neat and tidy!

I'm sorry. SOKP is closed for now due to lack of server. But we will be back online soon.
Thanks for that announcement. This ROM is the best by far and I hope the lollipop version will rock my device the same way the last version does.:thumbup::thumbup:

2. I dont know which one to download on the Sonic kang website, so which one will suit and be best for my g g2 d802 (uk)(international)
3. Will the LED lights still work the same way as the stock rom?
4. Will 4g work on this rom?
p.s Yes i am a newbie and a noob at andriod os and the works. I will continue expanding my knowledge on this site. But thanks for the great looking rom.

But THanks. Kudoos to devs :good:
@Fap_Trooper
I think you're in the wrong forum. You're talking about a LG phone but this Q&A Thread is for a ROM for a Samsung device

No problem. Just wanted to warn you before you brick your device.
As for ROMs - I really have no idea. I don't own a kg device. But if you have development for dirty unicorn, cloudy ROM or resurrection remix check them out. But make sure you're in the right lg g2 forum
