[Q] Cannot flash ROM anymore. Can you Help?

Hi guys,
I have a weird problem.
As of recently two days ago, my tilt won't take any flashes anymore. I believe with was caused by an action of mine which I tried flashing android from SD to NAND.
Here are the symptoms:
1) After a failed attempt at loading the Android Kernel, I installed the stock HTC ROM (Kaiser_HTC_ASIA_HK_WWE_3.34.721.2)
2) The stock rom flash worked, but any subsequent flash do not work
3) When trying to flash (either from Active Sync or SD Card) it gets stuck at 0%
Current state is as follows:
1) Phone boots up normally with stock rom
2) I can get into Bootloader mode no problem
3) When trying to flash it doesn't work
I have tried several steps in order to recover.
1) Tried to flash Stock rom again (Faillure)
2) Tried to flash HardSPL again (Faillure)
3) Tried MTTY 1.42 (Don't know if Success or Faillure) - I have attached the screenshot below
I have been successful in flashing multiple custom ROMs before, but idiot me wanted to try the android and now I messed my phone up. I guess it's true what they say: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"
Anyways...
So it seems to me, the connection is getting done but nothing wants to be pushed.

So my question is, do you guys know how to get my Kaiser working again?
Do you recommend in attempting Android on Kaiser again or leave it be?

You can just dont put http or wrap it in code and it's due to limitation on accounts to prohibit spam untill you reach a ceratain ammount of posts.

I had tried without the sd card, but I had forgotten to take out the sim card.
I tried without the SIM card and the same result is present. Won't go past 0%.
Any other ideas?

Does any one have any ideas how I can get my tilt up and running again? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

SPL 3-27 is on the phone but I've tried running the others without success. I get up to 17% on any ROM if using JumpSPL1.93-KAIS.exe but that's about it.
This is a work phone which is on the Orange UK network (corporate contract), it's playing silly beggars (not ringing when someone phones, but helpfully telling me I've had a missed call).
According to Orange the only thing they'll do is swap it like for like... but I'm 99% certain the problem is down to the ANCIENT firmware on the phone and Orange have confirmed they've got no plans to update it.

I had this on my tp.
My usb was dying out, i ended up switching my tp with the one of my brother cuz my brother got a galaxy S.
Try if active sync works properly and keeps connected for 15 mins or more.
My connection kept getting lost untill eventually no pc would be able to reconize my phone.

Although I'm pretty sure that this is HD7 an it is security unlocked,it does not accept any ROM I've tried to put in via RUU. Always ends with: "error 296: Upgrade only. This NBF file cannot be used for your PDA phone. Please get newer NBF file."
Is there something I've overlooked?
This software on phone is some kind of testing software and is really old and buggy. No Zune or phone want to make update.

This seems to be some sort of test device/ software. Definitely not developers Mazza version. What are the specs in about phone area? Not a Chinese copy... Post more detail

No, it is not Chinese copy. I don't have it right now in my hands, but in first post you can find what it says in "About".
I also think that this is some kind of prototype/test device. Do you think that it is possible to do something with this procedure: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1216393 ?
Also, it has blue area around camera and under tilt, and on HD7 it is yellow.

install HSPL and flash any ROM you want. This is a test device i think. May not be final however.

Phone is at my workplace, so I'll try it tomorow. I hope with success
Also I have one Mozart with same "problem". Do you think I can do same thing with it?

And nothing. This OSPL is not supported. Both devices...

I ordered a warranty replacement HD7 from TMobile.
I was playing with some bits from dev on this forum to see if I could backup my original phone and restore to the new one.
When I connected the new phone for the first time, Zune recognized it as a device named Schubert, along with my original device.
It eventually resolved to the phone ID I had previously assigned.
Any thoughts? I'd like to understand this better.

Don't know if it's the same for your hd7 but my tmous hd7 would restart at 11%(that's when the radio portion of the rom finishes). Go back into bootloader and continue the upgrade. It did this automatically. Is that what you are seeing? Just leave the phone plugged in and don't stop the RUU.

If in the flash mode the top line of your device reads "security unlocked", then all of those should be flashable (like mine)
If not, the 1st, 2nd and 4th should apply. Just be patient, it DOES reboot in the middle and just sit tight and wait. (I reflashed mine a couple of times due to failed jailbreaking attempts however it is running a jailbroken Mango Beta 2 now.)

I have tried the ROM. Up to 11% off you go then. I'm stuck on 11% of Mobile. The program also does error 226.. I got 10 ROM test. All the vans came.

Can we stop spamming please, ok I get it you need help one post will do, I had the same thing yesterday when I was flashing a ROM and it got stuck at 11% , you need to extract the ROM your going to install to a folder and delete the "SPL_signed.nbh" then run the "ROMUpdateUtility.exe" and it should all work fine.

Ok it sounds to me you might not have DFT HSPL / RSPL installed which mean you can flash ROMS without using the goldcard method, ok try this.
1. Download the "DFT_XSPL_WP7FG1.rar" from here at the bottom of the first post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1195647
2. Extract DFT_XSPL_WP7FG1 to a folder.
3. Run the "DFT_RSPL_WP7FG1_LAUNCH.exe" and follow the on screen instructions
4. Then run the "DFT_HSPL_WP7FG1_INSTALL.exe" and follow the on screen instructions.
5. Now try flashing the ROM you want but remember to be sure you have deleted the "SPL_signed.nbh" otherwise it will wipe out the HSPL you have just installed onto your phone.

I've done this yesterday. Hspl. I've done. It is the same. 11% is stuck. If I did not do all that was not the ROM. Now accepts all the ROM, but is stuck

my friend you should follow Samson291 instructions since the same thing happen to me, when i flashed to the BellMobility signed by ansar where you have to flash twice back to back and i'm sure you did the same. you can not go back to your original branded ROM the phone came with but you can flash any other.

HTC HD7 flash help wanted

I have an HTC HD7 phone, which was given to me (actually to my mobile phone magazine) about two years ago for writing review. It is a pre-production modell with test OS. It worked for some time but last year broke down, and I was not able to recover it.
Now I decided to give it one more try.
This time I tried upgrade through PC (USB connection is ok, but error code 269 at the end of the process - several ROM's tried) and goldcard method as well - but with no success.
This is written in bootloader:

Security Unlocked
SPL-0.93.2250.0(105296)
MicroP(LED) 0x06
TOUCH A1(v10)
nothing in green area (though there is card in the phone)
Serial in white area

USB connection works, and the phone can be put into USB host mode - so I think it must be some way to bring it back to life.
When I tried goldcard method the following tools were used:
2GD Samsung microSD
Kingston USB 2.0 microSD Flash Memory Card Reader FCR-MRB
Home made Y-cable
I followed the steps described in several threads here in XDA forum, but with no succes. The best result was that after connecting the phone in USB host mode "loading..." appeared on the screen, but some second later an error message came:
No image file!
(serial - written at the bottom)
What can be the problem? The pre-production ROM? Or should I use different microsSD card, card reader, or not home made Y-cable?
If anyone has an idea how to recover my phone please let me know.

To install custom roms you need to install darkforce teams rspl/hspl to install custom roms. To use gold card you need to have the right image file,and it needs to be named specifically. Check for both of those in the htc hd7 development section.

What is your devices info... Go to, Settings - About - More and post back devices Firmware Revision Number and Bootloader Version.
Are you trying to use the goldcard method to downgrade the devices SPL?

no, not possible.
XAP deployment requires Developer Unlock or a Chevron Unlock at the least.

I have tried to unlock it using Chevron Wp7 but it doesent work , when i unlock chevron shows an eroor mesage that says "check weather zune is open and your phone is pin unlocked" and yes it is unlocked , please help me unlock my device , Here are my device details in case you might need them

Chevron Unlock will look work with pre-Mango. you will need to use Goldcard method to downgrade. I suggest just flashing a Custom ROM, you will get more features besides adding a few apps. see tutorial I wrote, link in my signature.

I cant seem to make the Y cable correctly , since i couldnt get the stuff from around my place i tried making one and it doesent work , Im pretty sure i made the Y cable like in the tutorial --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1676794
is there anyway that i can degrade my bootloader directly from my computer without using the goldcard or Y cable method , or perhaps a ROM that can be flashed on a 5.xx bootloader?

What errors or problems did you have when trying the goldcard method?
Since you have an HTC Asia WWE operator device, the SLSPL method by Ansar will not work for you.
The only other way for you to downgrade 5.xxx would be the Zubair - Pre-Mango Zune restore point method. Requires you to have a Pre-Mango restore point through Zune, meaning that you have updated the device from a Pre-Mango state to Mango and still have the computer that you did it on. If you use this method make sure to read the directions carefully... The devices SPL will not be downgraded when you revert back to Pre-Mango state, it changes the SPL when you re-update the device through Zune again and the key part is that the device will reboot twice during the update once to change the SPL to 4.xxx and once to actually install Mango and at this point you have to stop the update process and unplug the device before it installs the 3 update which is the HTC firmware update and if that update is installed the devices SPL will be upgraded to 5.xxx again and you will be stuck in the same position.

Ahh , since my devide is having a semi bricked this method wont work on mine , when i go to the bootloader it does not show the "serial/USB" in the bottom. means its semi bricked

Usually if the device hangs in "USB host mode" its due too -

2. Make sure the only file on the SD card is the SCHUIMG.nbh ( has to be capitalized when renaming the ruu_signed.nbh)
3. The camera button can get stuck pushed in and prevent the device from flashig
4. Try switching around the Y cable connections.
5. If you make the Y cable to long in length it can cause a problem with trying to read the file.
Also when the device gets stuck in "Enter USB host mode or Loading" you have to pull the battery and re-enter USB host mode to try and start the flash process again.

What size SD card are you using? Make sure it's a 1gb card or if it's larger then partition it down to 1gb.

i hat to say this , ive tried everything and nothing happens , "Enter USB host mode .. " thats how far my phone gets , ive shortened the wires , changed the ports i used , used diffrent card readers , used diffrent SD cards and nothing happens :l
