[Q] A2SD GUI for stock rom - Samsung Galaxy Mini

Hello everyone, i'm using galaxy mini with stock rom gingerbread 2.3.4 (i've try almost all of custom firmwares before so i decided to back to stock rom)
i wanna ask : are stock roms can be installed internal storage expander like A2SD GUI, S2E and anything which can make my galaxy mini can install many games and many applications?

I think not coz stock not support init.d
Why not try more it tne same as stock and much better

You need to install the script via cwm first, then install A2SD GUI. It may works.
But for S2E, it is just for CyanogenMod.
Or you can use Link2SD. It is easier to use.

thanks man!!! now i have larger internal memory by flashing it via ODIN, following tutorial by doc_cheilvenerdi.org http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1398797

If you have cwm on your phone then yes you can install roms just using it, usually the roms say if they are CWM versions or if they need Odin. As your looking at darkys rom I can tell you it does let you install it via cwm, and you dont need anything else, just copy the zip to your sdcard card and install.
Thanks...you.r good man hhe

[Q] CWM Question

Hey dudes,
I have some questions on CWM Recovery..
Im on stock rom now (again ) but i wanna try out some roms again..
Now last time i tried to make a backup, flash a custom rom and after that restore again, but somehow i can never restore..
You have any idea on that??
Using stock 2.2.2 rom, CM7 nightlies and CWM from Rom Manager (4.0.0.9)
Have you tried restoring without rom manager? it's a great app, but it can play up sometimes.

how do i use the kernel cleaning script ?
and what is it anyway ?
A kernel cleaning script removes all tweaks and changes added by prev kernel so as not to cause conflicts.
If you use kernel cleaner in Glitch's thread (download and flash in cwm), data should already be mounted - check mounts and storage in cwm, then flash mintberry. Job done

thank you man for your really detailed answers

-Remove all my files from the sdcard?
-What are the advantages of this ROM?
-And if im going to the phone information setting there it says that the baseband version is S5570XWKQ5 and on the ROMpage its says that only FIRMWARE S5570XXKPI OR XXKPL OR XXKPK is allowed so what can i do about this?
Advanced thanx
1. No
2. No
3. Speed, funcionality and other things.
4. Flash your phone to stock GingerBread firmware named S5570XXKPI etc.

yes, all custom rom is rooted
root will be inbuilt in cm7. u dont need to do anything except for flashing.
u may remove files if u r planning to do a fresh partition.
fast with root, adhoc support, fast, a2sd support.
flash to one of the required baseband versions. available on "sam firm ware . com"
To get the best of cm7, Odin your mini with kxxkpk first. Then odin with cwm. Partition your sd with cwm. Then copy cm7.2, oc kernel, and darktreamor to your sd. Flash your mini with the file you copy in cwm. Between flashing, wipe your data and cache. Use no-frills and a2sdgui for settings

lag fix i9001

what is the best lagfix for my devide i9001?
i have root and xxkq7 german 2.3.6 ( last one)
tx
install any of the custom ROMs available for I9001, they do all have performance tweaks and better kernels included
i'd recommend flashing broodROM RC3 R2 or Simplistic Plus V3.
your phone won't lag anymore, for sure

The 9001 uses ext4 by default. On stock roms, too.
