Hi All,
I have one question.
Is possible port Leaked Droid 4 ICS with full motoblur to Droid 3?
Maybe this can fix camera/bluetooth/hw codecs...
Droid 4 has "the same chipset"
Thank You
Tomas

No. The problem is the kernel. And with the locked bootloader we cannot change the kernel

+1 on above
....aaaaaaargh
This can't be done. As said above the upgrade moves the kernel to 2.6.35.9 to v3.0.8, and the locked bootloader is a problem.
Plus Motorola completely redesigned the interface from GB to ICS. My DROID 4 is running official Motorola ICS and the settings would have to be changed, then it would have to be deodexed, and then signed and tested. With the things being redesigned, the camera may not work immediately, the video may not work and if it was a Port we would have to use CM9 as a base. So video most likely won't work.
It would be filled with bugs probably, so it would be a complicated process.

Og droid with project elite 4.2, ruby rom 2.0.2 boot.img which contains the kernel, v6 supercharger rc5 option 3, and launcher pro is ridiculous. I know I promised a few the link which I'm working on, but if you want I can send it your way.

Liberty3 2.0 allows you to remove the Blur launcher and use an AOSP one in its place. For the battery life especially, Liberty3 was my favorite GB ROM before I went to ICS.
Liberty3 2.0 ROM
I agree with pgzerwer, ROMs are much easier to find and navigate over at Droid Forums.

This same feature is in mavrom. Mavrom has continued support. Liberty does not. Just trying to help you make a decision.

Nice! Didn't know that! I wished Liberty still had support when I used it. I'd suggest Mav now that I have this knowledge, unless max battery life is worth trading support...even though Liberty seems pretty decent as it sits.

Just updated OP with Eclipse 3.0 by NitroGlycerine Rom Review!
I have a Droid 3 XT862 which has been running Liberty 2.0 for the last year or so. Now that an official Motorola update has been rolled out, I started wondering if it's time to switch ROM again, maybe back to the stock Droid 3 software.
I have some WLAN issues with Liberty 2.0, so I've tried a couple of times before to switch ROM. Last time it was to MavROM 4.0. Unfortunately, I've always had to come back to Liberty 2.0 because that is the only ROM (except for stock Motorola Droid 3) that will allow my bluetooth headset to connect.
What ROM do you guys recommend for someone that needs bluetooth headset support? Because of the WLAN problems with Liberty 2.0, I'd really like to try something else. Is the stock Motorola Droid 3 ROM my best bet?
Thanks!
