[App] BootyShaker for WP7 - Gone FREE during SPRING BREAK - Windows Phone 7 Apps and Games

BootyShaker - the app uses your phones accelerometer and touch input to manipulate round object joggling as realistic as possible on any selected image.
Features:
Create new projects using pictures from your phone gallery or taken with your camera
Add circle regions to the image
Scale and rotate the image in the design window
Run your project and make the marked circle regions wiggle by shaking the phone or by touching the screen.
Set some advanced settings for your project: gravity, damping, weight, frequency
Set overlapping circle regions to merge or overlay
Save a project
There are some similar apps out there, but it was developed without any influence of predecessors, which makes this app stand out from the rest:
Objects react to actual gravity, not just the shake gesture.
User friendly UI and easy editing
Follow BootyShaker on facebook
The app has a trial option which has almost all that you need: you can save up to three projects and add two shake objects. The trial is also ad supported, which you can get rid off for just 0.99$
Get the app from WP7 marketplace

*****UPDATE 2012.10.01*****
I am planing to finish some UI improvements and bug fixes in the middle of October. And i am looking for beta testers willing to try it out.
Please PM if you want to participate. Thank You!

Wow, they kicked my "Am I Drunk" App out that uses Facial Recognition, Voice Recognition, Accelerometer, and other items to help determine if you're drunk but they allowed this?
THAT IS GREAT, ahahaha! Terrific, glad they have a sense of humor.

ouch, did they tell you why they rejected it? Marketplace is full of drinking apps, doesn't seem like yours could be any more "evil". I was rejected too, two times. Have been struggling for almost two months, since I have no direct access to apphub.

Hi,
I'm the developer of the MessagesWidget and all designers I had told me they would do a layout and disappeared.
If you could do a layout, I would be proud to include it in the next version.
What I need is a 4x2 layout and a 4x1 layout.
If you're interested I could send you my contact informations and we could talk through GTalk or ICQ.
Thanks.

I'm doing this to keep Android rocking with a better overall experience, so I'm just asking you guys to keep writing killer apps.
If you're interested, just post:
1) App's primary function
2) Images to be replaced (or screenshot w/ relevant image sizes)
3) Idea of the look you're going for, if any.

Hi, just found this thread,
My app is currently in the latter stages of development and I'm looking for some inspiration when it comes the front end.
1) aDyno (a beta ver is on the market for you to dnload & play with), its a car performance app, measures & logs speed/hp/gforces etc.
2) If you glance through the app screens, a lot are simple list views which I'm OK with, but the presentation may need reviewing. The main views that need 'some work' are:
. The main timer view (pic1), I need to overhaul the whole thing from scratch.
. The graphs view (pic2), something prettier.
. And the g-meter/g-pad views (pic3 & 4), again, my first efforts are pretty poor (though the code used in pic4 is far from complete).
3) What I'm looking for? Nothing too OTT but I'm open to suggestions.
Looking forward to hearing what kind of ideas you have, or if this is of interest to you.

I'm using your app, it's pretty nice. I have a couple of suggestions.
First, the panorama on the first screen seems unnecessary, and makes it somewhat difficult to see shirtaday, about, and dailysteal. Maybe a vertical StackPanel inside a ScrollViewer would work better.
Second, when something is clicked, I immediately see the literal words "Item Name" and other placeholders that change once the data is loaded. The change between those placeholders and the real data is a bit jarring. I'd recommend a simple PerformanceProgressBar in the middle of the page until you have all the data, at which point you can safely display it.
These are only suggestions, feel free to ignore them Again, it's a nice app.
First and foremost THANK YOU for the feedback and constructive criticism.
I have had a rough bout getting v1.1 passed through cert, but it does include less jarring transitions, and a progressbar on each deal page for loading. I am also aware of the placeholder names, and that is on the roadmap to get rid of in the fit and polish section of my big OneNote file I have for this app
The Panorama issue was brought to my attention by another trial user. I tested it with both the trial and purchased app and have found it has something to do with the size of the panorama when the app has the ad bar on the bottom. The paid version kills the add and gives you a 3 row view, and it scrolls much nicer. The reason I went this route was for future deals it would be easy and natural to extend the pano indefinitely. That can always change – im not married to it, just like the way it looks.
Hahaha, I know how enticing a panorama control is I used it in the unreleased version of ArkWords with the beta tools. In the end, I went with a pivot, which functioned better. A pivot wouldn't work well in your case, though. Thanks for the quick reply!
My other app, BART Live (http://bit.ly/BARTLive) uses Pivot really well I think. Once there is more content, I belive the Pano will work well creating a wall of deal site icons. If I have to ditch it, I will. It currently housing a WrapPanel with a custom template that I probably should have made into a button template, but I'm a noob
And I am doing my best to reply to feedback as quick as possible. Its intresting to be on this end of the app scene and having so many avanues of contact. Makes having a smartphone super handy.
I currently have a facebook, twitter, email, and now these forums, for both apps.
Ah, good luck juggling all of that! And good luck with your apps
Thanks for the feedback and intrest. keep an eye out for v1.1!

[APP] Gesture Calc -[R]- 08/Mar/2012 -[U]- 08/Mar/2012 -[V]- 1.0

Name: Gesture Calc
Hi,
Would like to mention a new Windows Phone app, Gesture Calc. It is an app I made for the 30 to launch contest last month, but it is also now in the marketplace.
It's a calculator app similar to the one that comes with your phone but with gestures for operations. My thought was that with the touch screens available on smartphones, the standard calculator is kind of boring. So instead of using the buttons, you can trace things like plus, minus, divide, etc. on the bottom of the screen.
The app is completely free, with no trial limits, and does not have any ads. Just looking for any feedback for stuff I can add to the app.
Thanks!

Hmm... What do you mean by that? Do you know people who entertain themselves by calculators??? I know nobody, even my 2 years old daughter (she's prefer Galaxy Tab with colorful games) Calculators are used for calculations, not for entertainment so they can't be "boring".

By "kind of boring" I mean very similar, and without many differences from the layout of calculators from the 60's. The gesture addition is just an experiment to see if people like a feature like that. I don't mean I intend a calculator to be an entertainment app. However, I could add farm animal noises to all the buttons so it is more entertaining though.
Oh, yeah, the farm animal noises - it's what people usually missed from calculators at all
By the way, do you like a gesture feature? Can you calculate more effective or fast with gestures?
that's a good idea to make a "entertainment" calculator

Yeah I actually like using the gestures. Not sure if it is faster though. Haven't tested the speed of doing a bunch of calculations.

[APP] Virtual Aquarium - WIP

Hi all,
I've been working on a simple watch display that gives you a virtual aquarium on the watch. Do you happen to know how I'd go about turning it into a widget? As it is, it launches as a normal app and that's fine but I'd like it to be something like a watch face.

I think it's cool to have the tiny fish swimming around, the neon tetras swim around as a shoal and the angelfish float around fairly realistically. If you tap the screen, they swim away from where you tapped. It wouldn't be hard to add some other functionality like the ability to feed them by tapping the top of the screen or something but the app closes when the screen times out.
Any comments?

No offence, it's nice that you're building something, but this is one awful looking aquarium. Perhaps add some water texture, and use better fish images...

Feel free to contribute some better images if you want or if you know someone else that could, point them here. I just used those ones temporarily while I got it to do something. They were resized (badly) from another project I had to fit the Gear screen.

[App] DaFox's Wallpaper App For Adroid

This is not your normal everyday wallpaper app for your phone. This is a collection of photographs taken by myself over the years. Each photo is very high resolution, most are 4000x6000 in size. These photos not only can be used for wallpapers on your phone, they can also be saved and printed out for your own use. At this moment, there is 300 images. I will be adding more as time goes by.

The best way to set a photo as your wallpaper is to save it to your device, and then crop it to your liking and applying it with your home screen launcher. After pressing the save icon, you may see "Something went wrong" pop-up, but ignore it. The photograph will still be saved, and can be found within your device's gallery. It is also possible to apply the photo as your wallpaper from within the application itself.
I also use Wallpaper Wizzardii to get the wall set how I like it. It has many option like scroll, no scroll, zoom etc. It also is on the Playstore. http://bit.ly/1xVC2cZ
Unfortunately, every phone or launcher will handle wallpapers differently, some zoom, some don't. It is not a flaw of this app.
Warning: It is recommended to only use this application while connected to WiFi, as it will consume data quickly with all the Hi-Res pictures. Also, if you are tight on storage space on your device, it may be necessary to clear the application's cache after a certain amount of time browsing the wallpapers.
There will not be many updates required for this application, because new photographs can be added instantaneously due to it being a cloud based app. If you have any issues, please feel free to email me, and I will try to help as quickly as possible.
