SDK is armv7. I will compile AOSP when I figure out how to do it for armv6.

I see on YouTube Android 4.0 ICS ported to LG GT540 (Arm v6)
here
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V1_OpwI-Ybo&feature=related
and here http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=npOm6ObhT3g
why ??????
have on galaxy mini
It is possible to compile for armv5, and as far as I know armv5 is compatible with armv6. I don't have enough powerful PC to do that (it would take like 30-40h to compile on my PC). So maybe someone could do that.

Because it's not easy....the source is not complete to just build a functional ROM, the libraries...but of course can be done.
And I could be wrong.

Btw I read u were working on a port...how is it going?
And what is the ram on ur PC? So then I'll decide if it is possible for me to take a dive into deep sea or not.
I tried to compile it, but got an error. But I guess boot.img compiled successfuly. So I took a system.img from Hero (hero is armv5 device) but unfortunately something was wrong with my updater-script and I couldn't flash it.

First you need Linux Ubuntu)))
Not ubuntu specificly. You just need a linux distribution. I actually decided to start the porting this thursday. But since he has a better pc. He will do it faster.

I don't think you can "convert" a stock recovery into CWM.
For creating/porting CWM recovery, first you have to sync the CM sources as CWM comes as bundled in CM sources. For CM7, Gingerbread branch its CWM v5 and for CM10 JellyBean branch CWM v6, I guess.

[Q] Dual Booting Galaxy S?

I have had a look around, and I have yet to find a way for an i9000 to have two ROMs installed.
Is there such a thing? I'd like to have CyanogenMod 10 (stable) installed as my primary ROM, and CM 10.1 (nightly) installed as a second partition, and a way to chose which to boot into.
Can someone point me in the right direction for this?

What's the purpose?
Cm 10.1 is much more better than 10. Trust me. Go for it.

I don't think it's possible for you to have both cm10 and cm10.1 dual booting but there is a dual boot kernel that allows two 4.2 ROMs by dertufuel search devil dual boot kernel

That was more of an example. 10.1 would be the first I got, and if I had more slots I'd add on other ROMs that weren't Cyanogen.
I'd mix and match the ROMs, I just needed a simple example of what I wanted so anyone could understand
I did actually install 10.1, a couple of things I liked, others I didn't. For now, I'm sticking with 10.0, but I'd like to dual boot some other non-Cyanogen ROMs to see what they're like

Even without both Cyanogens, if I can get CM10 as my phone ROM, and another of whatever kind as a second, that'll do me. As I said in my last quote, CM10 and 10.1 were just examples, I would eventually download other ROMs to try.
Thanks by the way, I'll look into your suggestion

Its not possible now to make dual boot with DerTeufel1980 DualBoot - Devil4.2 (04-Feb-2013) and its working on 4.2.1 roms, not 4.1.2.
Many thanks to him...:good:
The Q is: Can anybody recommend which rom is suitable to use with this kernel?

First, is written "kernel" no "kernal"
Second, Samsung provides by default the kernel 3.0.31 (Team Canjica updated to 3.0.101) is possible upgrade to 3.1 but there is no dev willing to continue the project
We should have by default the kernel 3.4 (The original sources of STE tells us that our version is 3.4)
I think it should be grateful for what has

[HELP] Multi Boot and Kernel ??

Friends, am trying to test multiboot... i am right now USING Ressurrection Remix 6.0 with linux kernel. I´ve downloaded the app multiboot, but it says that i dont have a kexec hardboot kernel...
If you guys have experience in multiboot, please, tell me....
1 - How to use a kexec hardboot kernel? (i know flash kernel on ADB) .. but... what kernel should i use?
2 - Should i first flash the kernel, or install the rom? (because everytime i am using some rom, and flash other kernel, i got stuck on sony logo)
3 - I wanted to use a lollipop as primary and 6.0 as secundary.
Does we have some smart brain to help me figure it out? ( i ´ve been searching but... nothing about the kernel.. )
and i bet it´s going to be really usefull help to everyone....
