Which web browser is the best for Galaxy Ace?
Lol bro it depends on ur net connection .
.....but opera mini is the fastest and dolphin hd and skyfire are the bestest
I use 2G/3G network and Wifi, so which web browser is suitable for my use?
I would recommend skyfire...it looks classy also has good features.....if u net speed is very slow on 2g them opera mini...but mini doesnt support flash and also image quality is poor ....but its a data saver browser and great for limited data plan
If you want to play your Facebook games on mobile like city vila and farm vila... Then use opera mobile
Else dolphin hd is best...
Enjoy....

Opera mobile
Opera mobile is still clearly fastest for general rendering (apart from startup), and Opera mini best for low bandwidth. I think Opera mobile handles reflowing page content (important on our tiny low res screen) best of all. Lots of useful features are a bonus!
So Opera Mobile web browser is faster than Dolphin HD and Skyfire?
Dolphin HD
This was sent from my Galaxy Ace, but who cares?
Dolphin HD hands down!

I mainly use it because it has lastpass support.

Dolphin Engine Beta works like the hell on Ace.

Atm I'm trying both Dolphin HD and Opera mobile. I usually have a good 3g or wifi connection. Lastpass support for Dolphin is a huge plus indeed!

...by like hell you mean terribly? Comparing Dolphin Engine Beta to Opera mobile on the dolphin HTML5 tests, Opera was mostly double the FPS of Dolphin, let alone on some other benchmarks.
The Dolphin beta engine does currently have better html5 spec support, but is certainly not ready for use on the Ace yet... Opera will be releasing Presto 12+ rendering engine soonish, which will significantly improve Opera's spec support and push performance further...
And the next Opera mobile will support extensions, meaning Lastpass too I imagine...
Dolphin is basically a tweaked webkit; webkit is a great rendering engine, but so is Presto, the Opera renderer and Presto IMO works better on mobile rendering, page reflowing which is critical on mobile platforms. And over 3G, both Opera mobile and Opera mini are clearly best-in-class.
Dolphin does have a more "creative" set of UI features.
But I don't like Opera UI, I prefer Dolphin or stock browser, and Dolphin Beta Engine is much faster then stock browser and then stable Dolphin.

i imagine a browser that has a inverted mode so all backgrounds are black will use the least battery as amoled screens use less power with darker colours
anyone know of a browser that you can have inverted colours?

I read somewhere a while back that it utilises hardware rendering (thanks why ICS only?) - so that may require more juice - I think

ICS Browser +
If you're on ics and want a good browser, if you have the phone in tablet mode <220 dpi then the stock chrome browser is spectacular, very close to desktop performance.

Hey guys I just got my note, and I always wanted to use chrome, but now that Im ussing it I found it so laggy, its not as smooth as the default browser or Ics browser plus for example. I mean its damn fast but the scroll is laggy, but Ill stick to it, its managament tabs is amazing
Any ideas?
Maybe the resulution..
Gesendet von meinem GT-N7000 mit Tapatalk 2
Yes it does seem a little less responsive in scrolling (compared to stock ICS browser & Opera at least) but that could be why it's still in beta.
I noticed that it also has problems with text size. some places have increased font size for no reason!!
its also quite glitchy with flash video's.
Chrome for android doesn't support flash so I don't think you will be able to watch any flash videos with it.

I know and I dont care really I use both chrome and stock. If i want a full desktop experience Ill go for the stock, whereas if I need fastness chrome is for me.
Hope the laggy scroll on chrome will be solved in some point
Still apparent on my note and i just updated today. The lag is the only thing that's keeping me away from it
For me its working great.... only find the lag now and then while inputting some text fields but loving it any way

Post here about ur favorite browser and ur experience with it.
I use dolphin beta and opera mini.Dolphin is much faster.
i prefer google chrome. its clean, fast on our o2x
Definitely Maxthon for me. I've been using it on a PC for many years, and I like it very much on Android, too. It is fast, has a convenient interface. Dolphin is not bad, but I still prefer Maxthon (however, on Android it substantially lacks in config options and available plugins, compared to a PC version; hopefully, it will improve). I never really tried comparing them, but Maxthon feels snappier to me. I could never get into using Opera -- tried it on different platforms over years (PC, Palm, WinMo, Android), and always ended up abandoning it. Something about it just doesn't feel right for me...
Opera Mobile, fast, smooth, simple UI. It's only one browser that isn't focusing after zooming.
Dolphin on my O2X, as it's the only browser that doesn't suffer from as many FCs as Opera and stock GB.
On my DZ, I just stick with stock.
Once CM10 is out, it'll be chrome for sure I have tried chrome on my friend's Nexus S and was quite impressed.
As for what I use on my PC, it's Chrome when in Windows and Firefox on Ubuntu.
Boat browser is my browser of choice.

Maxthon is good, but it seems to get sluggish over time for me. Especially when browsing websites with lots of images. It probably relates to me having the quick back setting activated, but still very annoying. Therefor I prefer Dolphin in most cases. It seems to handle multiple tabs more efficiently.

Why not root your device? Installing root takes 30seconds and so does removing it again.
You will only benefit from it.
You should try next browser. It's a brilliant app!

Opera 15 is great. But also amazing lightweight Naked Browser.
Opera Mobile Classic :good:
AOSP browser best of the best. Second place - Boat Browser. Third - Dolphine, but this browser have only fixed text size, it's no fine. Boat and AOSP have slider for text size.
I prefer dolphin if you have only these two candidates.
Boat Browser

Indeed. Many broadcasters won't let you stream their video on a rooted device. In fact, I'd suggest it's most if not all.

Hi!
I'm recently using the Firefox browser because of very good performance and speed.
But I want to ask if I'm correct that it's draining the battery more than dolphin and stock browser? I think I noticed it but I'm not 100% sure so a feedback of other users would be nice
