Better then before I take it.
I had crappy battery life on stock. Today I put Thrill Seeker on my phone and I have had it unplugged for about 12 hours, it was at 100%, then through loading and restoring apps, text messages, etc, making phone calls... So decent use, it's now at 63%.
So that might be an option for you.

ThrillSeeker has HDMI and 3D as it is not based off CM7.

The 3D seems actually quicker to start up. It doesn't have the 3D Game Converter I don't think, but someone on stock might be able to throw that up so you can put it into system/app.

[POSSIBLE][FIX]Battery stats fix for ATT 4.5.91

USE THIS SCRIPT AT YOUR OWN RISK
This is just a proof-of-concept fix. I dont guarantee any improvement, because i have not much time to test it.
I simply replace battery libs and apps extracted from HKTW.
How to:
1. Download "battfix_cwm.zip" (bellow in Attached Files)
2. Copy it to sdcard or sdcard-ext
3. Reboot into CWM recovery
5. Click "install zip from sdcard"
6. Choose zip from sdcard
7. Pick the "battfix_cwm.zip"
8. Install
9. Reboot

had the same problem with HKTW though.....
yeah, HKTW has crazy battery jumping, so I don't know if using their battery portions are going to make any difference
Has someone tried this method? Please report back

I just flashed it and my battery level has evened out. It was a steady climb down even in standby but after this flash, its not as steep and seems like this could improve standby battery time. Il keep checking throughout the day and post back results.

Reboot and tell us if the battery percentage changes.
here is a screen shot of what my results are showing after I flashed this zip. You can see how it isn't dropping as drastically after the flash.

Unfortunately I'm on HKTW and battery is not accurate. It jumps back and forth. We need a real fix for this.

Yeah, what he said. If my battery showed 75% before reboot, it would show 99% after reboot.

Higher (or lower) resolution. However, changing the LCD Density will make your phone "not compatible" for most apps in the Market. There's supposed to be a fix somewhere but I haven't found it so I changed mine back to stock.

Market on pc will still say your device is incompatible if you're using the account that's signed onto your Revo. Once the apps are installed you're fine, some just look screwed up. I think spare parts has an option to fix this but I could be wrong...
I haven't noticed any difference in battery life. Mine's set at 200...

Cleared market app data and it worked. Idk why I didn't try that before.

Getting a used thrill, any advice?

I'm going to buy a used LG Thrill here very soon and just wondering if there's anything device specific i should look out for?
i.e. known issues specific to the thrill.

Yeah. Get an extended battery as well.
Sent from my LG Thrill 4G
It really depends on usage.
If you have wifi, gps, bluetooth, and your cell antenna turned on, of course the battery will drain fast.
Then add a bunch of apps with startup permissions and watch it drain a little faster.
I can get through a work day without charging.
The only major issue I see is the lack of support.

Extra mods such as; thunderbolt?

Hey guys.
I was recently looking around in the Revo forums, and I heard about this "Thunderbolt script"?
I was wondering what it does and if it has any negative impacts on the phone Any risks?
Thank you!
I would not recommend crossing roms or mods. I accidently used the wrong one and let me tell you I almost threw my phone out the window. Lots of work getting the phone fixed.

I used the thunderbolt mod, it increased my battery life, also it slightly made it faster.
I used the thunderbolt mod and the only problem I had was Bluetooth crashing when I attempted to pair my phone with anything.

You can flash it over anything, there is just no guarantee it will work. It has fixed issues over many Roms for me though. I would make sure you haven't frozen any apps that stop Bluetooth from working though first (software update, stock music player).

Yeah leave the stock music.apk alone, unfortunately it's a critical part of the Revo/LG Android build. Your phone will not work properly without it.

Android WebOS flashing

OK. I got the webOS some time ago for my wife. She is getting a bit annoyed at apps not being updated basically. Or I am cause she asks why stuff doesn't work well which is normally because lack of support in web OS
So.
Is there a nice newbie guide to flashing android?
Its never had anything but webos so far.
Can I retain webos as well (dual boot) and will it get wiped if I do?
What's the most stable and fully featured version of Android foe touchpad? I guess CM9?
Thanks guys

Yes check out Reverend Kyle s video tutorials here http://www.reverendkyle.com/
You will retain WeBos ,dual boot and nothing will be wiped .
Use the latest CM9 official nightly .
As you are in the UK pm me and if you wish and I will talk you through it or help you install it remotely.

Happy you got it all sorted , trust your wife is happy . If you want any suggestions please let me know .
One thing I would say is to NEVER let the touchpad run down, an app that can help is Automatelt which you can use to shutdown when the battery level drops below a certain % .
All the best.

If it does ,it becomes impossible to reboot/ turn on unless you have a touchstone charger.
I have set mine and my daughters at 15 % ,she has not always plugged hers in properly and it saves a few sleepless nights.
