The HTC Touch Diamond is a great Device and can compete with the iPhone.
But why does it have problems woth the phone features.
Answering calls : have to download software : Answer Key / S2U, to turn of the screen so it does not answer in your pocket
End Calls: After ending a call, why does the keypad appear.
And can it be removed, or turn off so that when i end a call it just ends the call and goes back to the home page of turn screen off
All I need to to be able to answer and end calls with no problem.
Had none of these issues with the HTC Touch.
I have been was the HTC Touch for a year and had no phone feature issues.
Can any one help, or should I just sell and get an iPhone.
I want to turn off keypad after the call too

I have problem with my diamond 2. When I make call or receive any, telephone ringing and everything is OK. When I hang up the phone automatically switch to conference call. I need to ask second party for patience, switch back to handset and continue with call. It is unacceptable.
Is there any possibility to setup start call in conference mode which I need to unclick?
May be will help if I add some info:

Hi,
I recently updated my phone through Kies to Firmware 2.1 update 1 after which whenever i have an incoming or outgoing calls, the volume is auto set to half the bar and is low however i can increase and it comes back to normal...this happens every single time a call comes in or when an out call is made...
There is no problem with the audio. Its just that every call i take or make, i have to increase to volume to full or how much ever i want - this was not the case before the update...
Any help would be super

Hi,
I encounter sometimes this issue with my S3 4G/LTE i9305: Sometimes, when I receive an incoming call, the S3 vibes but not rings.
All others ringing notifications are played, the issue is just with the incoming call. No incoming calls are mist except if I don't have signal.
My configuration:
Phone
Model: GT-I9305
Android: 4.2.2
CM: 10.1-20130522-NIGTHLY-i9305
Baseband: I9305XXBLL5
Kernel: 3.0.64-CM-gba39955
Ringtone
I do some test using a default ringtone provided by CM to compare with my favorite ringtone (MP3).
I've encountered sometimes this issue with the default firmware provided by Samsung. This is one of the reasons why I flashed my S3 with CM 10.1.
Any idea(s) or way(s) to solved this annoying issue?
Is related with the baseband version?
PS: I've do a "trip" with the 48 pages speaking of Galaxy S III I9305 (4G LTE + 2GB RAM) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting (http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1961).
Is related with the baseband version?
No unless the call itself is the problem .

Long sob story version:
Been waiting and looking for an update to my Xperia Pro, wanted a good QWERTY slider Android. Unfortunately, manufacturers think there's no market for it just because they kept releasing **** spec versions, so obviously people won't buy em. =\.. all in all, had no choice but to pick up the best out there spec wise, the Droid 4 from the USA through eBay as it has the specs to work globally.
First issue unfortunately was not being able to get data connection. That is fine, as I can use WiFi for now until I figure it out.
But the main issue is with calls/sms!
When the phone first boots, obviously there's the warning about "This SIM card is from an unknown source".
Once booted, I am unable to receive any calls. Any calls made to that phone will immediately be sent to Voice mail. Doesn't matter if the phone is awake or in sleep.
Now here is the funny thing, ONCE I send out a SMS or make a call, I can start receiving calls. Unfortunately, this is also short lived as after an undetermined period of time, the issue will pop up again and I won't be able to receive any calls or even SMS.
As it sometime works and sometimes does not, this gets really frustrating as I can't pin point what exactly is the problem here.
I could use the help and advises of the gurus here and this is really infuriating to me.
Thank you very much everyone for taking the time to read and assist me on this issue.
Kind Regards
Further Update:
I have left the phone on standby for a while.
What I can tell you is, SMS will take around 5-10 minutes to be delivered to the phone and the alert to be played.
Calling still gets set to voice mail. It is as if it has a small open window of opportunity for SMSes to get in. This is unbelievable frustrating...
You need to install Mentor's GSM patch It can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2394689
For it you'll need at least SafeStrap. Plus I'd recommend installing some better ROM, my personal favorite is CM11 unofficial by Stargo - found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2535705
(you need to apply the GSM patch AFTER you installed the ROM)
GL and enjoy the sweet slider, I'm loving it since Sep 2012
