Just pick any Incredible S in the list. It really doesn't matter. As part of the unlock procedure you will send a token generated by your device and that will identify your device correctly.

You will be better off in the long run by using the Downgrade script documented in one the sticky posts in this forum to gain true S-OFF using Revolutionary in my opinion than the HTCDEV unlock.

Hey guys,
my HD7 seems to have some hardware problems (random rebooting etc). So I decided to send it in for repair. Since I'm currently running the leaked HTC Mango ROM (7720.68) I need to roll back to a stock NoDo ROM. Now there are so many ROMs floating around these forums nowadays, that I have no idea which would be the on to choose for my device:
HTC HD7, Germany, unbranded, not SIM locked.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
you can go here and select the suitable ROM for your device,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/HTC_HD7/Shipped_Roms
but be careful because you may brik your phone if you flash a wrong ROM
I think you should flash the last ROM which is the only one in the Mango Section

Thank you very much. I think I'll go with the first European ROM and apply all available updates afterwards. That should be sufficient enough to look like stock.

It is OK, as you like,
But keep in your mind that the Mango ROM is official leaked one and is stock,
My suggestion is to go with it if you don't care about chevron unlocking your device.

I have a developer account, so I don't need Chevron to unlock my device. The thing is, I need to send my device in for repair, so anything Mango like wouldn't be considered to be stock as the update actually hasn't been delivered yet.

Hi,
I've an X8 simunlock throught Omnius, and now I want to unlock the bootloader to try ICS ROMs....
Anyone know hot to do that without break the radio ^^??
Blagus did not response about that...
Thank you !!!
Wrong section!
Have you read the bootloader unclock thread?
In that, when i unlocked the BP i remember something about sim-unlocked phones...
there is a risk of relocking the phone, and may not be sim-unlocked anymore..
Anyway.. Ask guys in that thread and be patient..
And good luck, unlocking your phone, in everyway possible!

If you are uncomfortable about it, Don't do it! I did it and now the radio is not working! worse of all, I don't know whether my phone is unlocked with Omnius! So far PM to blagus, and there's no replied from him.

I think radio is BASEBAND on Android based devices(without HTC).
You can flash latest baseband, also re-lock bootloader first.
Btw. FXP abandon MSN722X phones, so he did't response.
Flashtool v0.5.3 can unlock bootloader on phones sim-unlocked by Omnius.
I am planning to release an update to the tools on my guide so that it includes a script to allow Omnius sim-unlocked phones to be bootloader-unlocked safely as well.
It would be a great idea! Update the tool soon!
Updated guide and tools. Redownload msm7227.zip, the link in my thread has been changed.
The guide now includes a method for Omnius sim-unlocked phone owners to bootloader-unlock their phones. The file to execute is msm7227_OmniusSL.cmd if i'm not mistaken.
Thank you and good night.
Regards ,
SpyderX
Thanks a lot SpyderX. But is it safe?

Should be. I found it in the Flashtool files, so it should be safe. However, as if all other sim-unlocked devices who have gone through the bootloader-unlock, there is a possibility that the sim-lock will be restored.
thank toy everyone guys
Will test it and report feedback
Hi, I have tested and it doesn't work for me.
Any one unlocked?

Not Really an in-depth tutorial. Op would be better off reading Spyder's thread (links are outdated but tackles the not recogized simlock issue). Op can unlock the bl. The issue is the possibility of losing signal when he does. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=17378137

Hello everyone im having a hard time identifying the model number of my Galaxy Tab A 8.4 2020 edition by t-mobile. it states on device checker that its model number is Sm-T307U so when i try to look up root methods and custom roms for this device theres hardly any information found. Is it because this tablet is relatively new ? or do i have the wrong model number?
i would appreciate any help and knowledge on this matter thank you ! :fingers-crossed:
That is the model number. I own one too. There is no OEM unlock which makes it highly unlikely this model will ever be rooted or have ROMs produced for it.
I'm concerned if there will ever be any updates for it, even security updates...

if you go to settings and enable developer options, you can turn on the "OEM unlocking" which says that it will allow the bootloader to be unlocked

Can anyone comment on this? I do not own this tablet yet, but I do want to make sure that this option is available since I do intend to root it once I bought it. Any insights will be appreciated!

Thanks a lot! I wonder if flashing different firmware would make a difference. I might experiment in a few days.
I'd like to just find the stock firmware for it. It doesn't show up on the sammobile site and I don't know if I trust some of the other places where they say they have it. Need to flash the stock firmware in order to get rid of a Google Lock. If anyone knows of a trustworthy source, please post it. Thanks!

The latest one I have on my device is T307USQS4BTL1. I found it on https://samfrew.com/download/Galaxy...2020-__/4hbc/SPR/T307USQS4BTL1/T307UOYN4BTL1/ but I haven't tested it myself. Hope it's kinda helpful.
Yeah, I've seen that one out there, along with a few on other sites that I don't really know if they're trustworthy or not. I was hoping there was something out there on a website that someone could vouch for before I downloaded it. I think I'll just have to see which site looks the least likely to have malware on it. Thanks for the reply!
I hope one is found out
Did someone fix this for me

It is because the bootloader is locked by the carrier. You can't root it or install custome ROMs, unless T-Mobile unlocks it.
