[Dev-ports] IncDoes - All in one thread [Lexikon,Streak,MT4g,LiquidE,MIUI,FRG83,Z,HD]

This thread is where all my ports for the INC will be... no need to make new threads for every port.
These are ports for the community devs to take over and play with so anyone feel free to do what you want with them.
NOTE:
- I will not support these builds or ever plan on working on them "except for the currently working on ones"
- Base ROM will be posted
- All builds are alpha so expect nothing to work (fun to play with)
- All builds are open arms to devs
- More to come

2.2.1 was only pushed out to the Nexus one and the Droid (1st gen) its stock vanilla android OS that runs on the Nexus. Latest OTA for google nexus one.

Anybody see this ROM? It just came out today with ID's help. Its got the acer liquid, dell streak, htc sense, launcher pro, miui (i think) home screens all rolled into one for the evo! I would love to have this ported over to the inc instead of trying to make separate roms work...

[REQ] Vanilla AOSP ROM for Vivid Please?!

Just throwing out a friendly request for a plain AOSP ROM for the vivid. If anyone knows where to find a how to or some sort of guide I'll gladly take a look and see if it is something way above my head or not. Thanks in advance to any Dev who takes this on or shows me the way!

It'lll eventually come about as CM9.
Modify that the wayou you like when it comes out and strip all of the CM bloat.

Hmm.. A sense 4 theme would be amazing! I'm obsessed with how it looks and if it were possible that would be amazing But I'm sure whatever you bring will be great!

I have a quick question for you sir. Are ROMS like MUIU and CM9(neither of which are adapted yet to Jellybean) going to be able to run JellyBean on our Tabs? I am positive there will CM9 and MUIU for these tabs but will they be GB or ICS versions? Will we have to wait a good long while before the established current crop or ROMS run JB?

I have a question. What is the difference between a GB or ICS version of miui? Or the difference between that and JB. Miui always seems exactly the same, ever since I first started flashing. Would miui get Google now? Or project butter?

There will probably never be a CM9 for nexus 7.
There might be a CM10 though.

To All the IncS members !! [ REAd & Respond ]

Hey guys i have been doing a lot of projects .. and i have lots more in my mind .. Basically i wanted to know what is in your mind.. any new ideas or projects .. If your idea counts in we could actually incorporate it in the rom .. any idea basically rom related , theme related anything .. I have always been encouraging members to show off there talent , if you guys remember johnblundon was famous for his work as he started off with my rom bootanimations and then he went on to make something exceptional for the icecoldsandwich d.. You may see my affiliation with Fallen , greg_2126 and these guys have started working very well .. So basically members need a boost .
We have got very less devs for our Incredible S section .. This is just a post to encourage new members , know what you guys have in mind and if you guys really can do something exceptional i will surely provide a helping hand
I even wanted to know till now whatever roms i have made , which is the best of them all according to you guys so please vote in the poll ..

A good vanilla ics rom would be nice... but i think that cant be done without source. Do we?

There are enough guides out there, but if you have some useful advices, I'd be really grateful if you share them with us!

I would love to do anything, but I really have no idea how to port anything. A little guide would be cool! For now I just can make sigpics and stuff like that as I'm not so bad at Photoshop
EDIT: Oh yeah I forgot Jelly Bean would be super sweet! But a full working CM9 port would also be good atm.

To be realistic, I think A sense4.1 rom would be nice for the moment.

I know ICS recent application is close to it, but I would like to see option to have list of only running application
Also, search key or menu key can be used as direct key for same without any lag

See basically i dunno everyone want to learn there are guides .. But there are already people working on something .. I mean if i am working on sense .. someone try on working on aosp, cm, aokp that would be great ... if alll r sense roms wheres the love for stock ics ??
about jellybean i have wasted nights porting that but i will still see

Guys just so you know, being a dev isn't something you become over night. There is no click this, click that, type this, run this command, etc. It's very hard to make a custom rom. So all those people who want to learn, good on you, but remember it'll we a while before you end up posting a rom. Unless that is, if you were born with a gift like nik So good luck and never give up

Is it possible to get native video calling (not with third party applications like skype etc) through 3G get working on IS?

The guide doesn't say anything about kernel so make sure you replace boot.IMG and WiFi modules

Main problem with this super awesome smartphones are the battery..
I would like to make simple super saver os mode in which only basic functionality will work..
only radio,sms
yes no internet ,less graphics...may be I will cal it as Real phone mode..
because only normal mobile function like calling , receiving call ,receiving and sending text is allowed..
this wont be like another battery saver app..
Its whole os or mode of os with bare minimum requirement..
People will say wats use awesome hardware and functionaluty we got in here..

This mode will be user requested and easily switchable ..
specially when you going for bed or realy have to preserve battery u just enable this mode..
you will be running ur mobile like a basic symbian phone eg.nokia 1100 with least graphic things and very very less power and shall go for at least week with that mode enable or half a week with combination of real phone mode and smartphone mode

i love ASOP and AKOP roms but they have much more bugs

hello! PA Halo is an open source projekt and it is being integranted in many AOSP Roms. Is there any way to port Halo to a Htc Sense 5 rom?
I think many people would love to see this in Sense

Nope, AOSP is coded differently to Sense5. Meaning the code doesn't just work and requires a lot of rewriting ect.

I believe halo had to be built in when your building aroma from source and since devs don't build sense from source it can't be built in.

Try using LMT Launcher, just search here in XDA. It offers PA halo like functionality called PIE.

Pie and Halo aren't even remotely the same thing.

if you really want Halo you can use PAC rom or PA itself because they are both really stable right now (have used both of them) but obsessively you lose a couple of sense features (i dont mind lol). But most likely Halo will never be on sense, but there is an app in the play store that makes your notification like that, but I have never tried it.

You will never see HALO in any non AOSP ROM. That's something you can count on.

I like how the guy asked something, not knowing the extent of what would be needed to actually do it, and gets a dozen "nope!"

Try floating notification..is near the same

Have a look at Floating Notifications in the Play Store. Reasonably similar in principle but doesn't open a smaller window of the app.

The GE ROM is not AOSP. It looks like AOSP but it's just an unskinned Sense base.

While I think it would be a serious challenge, I'm not sure it'd actually be impossible. Miui builds based on OEM roms work on the same principle as what would need to be done to put halo into a sense build.
Additionally I think that the xposed module could be a big part of making this happen..
That being said, it's certainly not something I could do.

It's not impossible per se. But would take mountains of work as sense roms don't get built from source. So you can't merge it the ui and java edits needed.
