[Q] Is there a port of DianXin rom for Galaxy S

I want to ask if there is a functional port of Dian Xin chinese Rom for Galaxy S, it's already ported to Nexus S here:

well thats a nice looking rom.....but i dnt think so although there are a lot of nice rome on the galaxy s..

It's not a regular rom, it's mod like MIUI build on CM7 and CM9, it would be awesom to have it.

not seen it for the I9000, but it is indeed nice looking... could try contacting the dev i guess.

[Q] Roms Wish List:Can we have all these? - Current status

Hi All
I think we should ask all over dear developers/rom porters for all the roms we want for our devices.
Here is mine list
1. Ligux V4 - Elol (Pending)
2. Qiss me - GOT IT - Thanks to Abenagiel
3. codename next update
4. icecoldsandwich next update - GOT IT-Thanks to elol (eagerly waiting for 8.5 update)
5. miui v4 - GOT IT
6. Jelly bean - tHanks to ardx
7. DXROM by abenagiel (Pending)
EDIT : Now we have paranoid android (thanks to aeoi) and soon going to have mockee 1.10 (thanks to abenagiel)
We all can add the list of the roms we want so that the developers may know which are the most desirable roms

I am surprised why all of you are not adding your wishlist
Our dear developers should be motivated to develop and port and we should do this by sharing the high hopes for them.

qiss me still under development for our device.. and i have plant for dxrom (dianxinos) v4..
for mokee os,, the official rom still not release yet for v4..
so stay tune..

I am proud to be a part of this community, all devs and porters working here out of own interest and sharing both knowledge and roms. However, having a wishlist or top ten is not my personal reason because numbers of developers / roms has one other factor: time vs. quality. Imagine yourself serving more ports, having to deal with all unacountable what, ifs and whys will put an enormous amount of workload on you. I fully rely upon what we are served because I know we will get what is most adaptable for our piece. Also, I find many roms being more or less clones of one and other.. The idea IMHO is to have a few relieable and developable steady roms than a bunch hanging in mid air...

ok dxrom done but still have many bugs,, but minor bugs i think,, under testing right now..

You are absolutely right my friend.
The main motive behind my list was to have the knowledge about what all is going around and what all we can have.
our dear dev can share with us what quality stuff we can have and all the roms I talked about are being discussed in this forum.
I just tried to know what all developments we can have for all these roms.
And I asked for these just by relying on the capabilities of our dear dev.
But I am sorry If I was too demanding.

Yes earlier zuk was planning to port but I dont know what happened with that
I think elol,aben,CK, zuk or anyone of us needs to take responsibility to port that.
By the way elol said that he will port Liguxv4 (post#7 of this thread), but he is busy with some work.
Lets hope that someone may take it up.

im using ligux 3.2 by zuk so nice and tempting ,i got camera and gapps working on ligux 3.2.
im thinking ligux4 would b so nice

[Q] Call Recording on AOKP JB

Is there any call recording mod available which will work on AOKP JB ? I really want that feature for my personal use. I did searched for it but I found one only for odex jb rom which is in Samsung Galaxy S3 forum. ofc it will not work on our note. So if someone have it would you mind please sharing it with XDA community ?
BTW I am on jellycore v2 by Gavin (g.lawarne)

It´s possible port a ROM of Galaxy Ace? This ROM inclued PARANOIDANDROID + AOKP + CM1O (P.A.C.). This ROM is the best.

porting is easy... (my roms are example) .. anyways.... as the above post says... we have WIPS and... i still ain't happy with the bugs... ...

Porting themed roms is easy. Porting a rom like the OP requested would take a little bit more work than just copy and pasting. And most likely the person porting wouldnt have programming knowledge so we would be stuck with the bugs until the original rom author fixes them (and hes basically in the same situation as rashed97 at the moment, the bugs are next to impossible to fix)

This rom is not a temed rom,if this rom are themed is easy to port,but this rom request a lot of time,in the weekend i search to port,but sorry,i'm working on a other rom:thumbdown:

Some word...i manage to port and run this on my P500
Just i can say..if it wasn't from source and JB wasn't that stable yet
Not much more to expect.
I got random reboots and graphic problem including some part to not work as you want
So this wasn't the way it should be

yesterday i ported pac from galaxy ace successfully..
it has no such problems as u mentioned here..
its working prettty nice on my phone

I really don't understand what's the big deal about having the newest rom's out there.
our phone is limited in his performance and capability to carry out multiple missions at once, adding it a heavy port or rom is devastating.
CM9 works like crap for me performance and battery are really **** comparng to CM7, CM7 is superb, btw using GINGERSNAP.
Stop looking for the newest cause it'll be crap as our phone is. wanna have the newest rom fully functional? buy a new and normal phone.

[Q] xperia t - stock camera port to cm

hi guys, I've already read somewhere that stock camera can not be ported to cm, but what is not clear to me if that is really impossible, or it is a (very) hard job. can you please explain it to me?
I am asking this because when I bought the xperia t, the other phone I was interested on was the p880 (O4X HD), then I went for the xperia t. but looking in the O4X forum section I saw they have ported the stock camera to cm10.1, so I guessed that was possible also for the sony
..if that would be possible, I would be happy to donate for some willing devs if they worked on this port, and I am pretty sure many others would do the same :fingers-crossed:
