Hello everybody,
Could you please help me with the following matter?
My Samsungs S plus(i9001) that worked just fine until recently does not connect to the internet in the internet browser while on data connection but works with WIFI.
Any other application is working with both WIFI and data connection.
I tried to install a new browser but is acting the same.
Any advice?
did you just recently load a new rom? check your apn settings.
Try taking a backup and then go into recovery mode and do: wipe data/factory reset.
Did you install any adblock application or modified host file? It happened once to me when installed an adblock app. If you did that, just uninstall and everything will be OK
Solved
Uninstalled everything that was installed recently did not work.
Back-up and factory reset seems to work.

I was successfully running CM 6.0.0 for several weeks when suddenly i noticed my 3g data connection was no longer working at all. no icon on the taskbar or anything. it's checked on in the settings, but not working.
i have tried:
1. hard reset (pulled battery for several minutes.)
2. factory/data reset
3. airplane mode toggle
4. data toggle
5. reflash radio
6. flash a differnt radio that i know has worked in the past
i'm running out of ideas. any suggestions?
Try reflashing Cm6 over with no wipe meaning just flash the rom and reboot oh and u might wanna try wiping dev cache hope it helps good luck

thanks for the suggestion. i had already tried those things without success. however, i was finally able to fix the problem:
1. nandroid backup
2. wipe
3. install fresh rom (or other asop rom i assume)
4. use wifi connection to connect to network
5. settings > about phone > update phone > update profile
6. data connection was restored.
7. restore nandroid backup
8. back to normal

Just FYI for future reference, the "Update profile" tool is only available in Sprint-based (HTC Sense) roms. AOSP only roms (aospMod, CM6, DD) don't have this tool, so for now you will have to nandroid back into a Sense/Sprint rom to update Profile and PRL each time you need to do that.
If you are with CS; they have been having issues with their data stream. Mine was acting up the end of last week.

my connection completely quit...no sign of working at all. updating the profile was the only that worked and it worked immediately.
I am having issues also i am running a secse based rom updated prl profile cleared market data and gtalk data ect and still can't connect to gtalk or download from the market. I even reflashed my rom any suggestions?
Sorry for the noob post.
I was attempting to install cyanogen, following the full update guide on their wiki
It is currently running the stock rom. and this would be the first time i have tried this.
Installing clockwork mod seemed to go fine, however when i restarted it i could not enable wifi or data network. It also restarted regularly. I performed a factory reset through the settings on the phone, but after that i still cannot connect to wifi or data networks, and the rebooting has increased in frequency so now it will only remain powered up for a few seconds.
I can still access download mode fine, and it does not reboot when on that.
What should I do?
Hey
On which firmware did u install CM9??

Hi everyone,
I have a really weird problem.
yesterday I came home and my phone didn't connect to my home wifi.
so i tried turning the wifi off and on again but it didnt work..
other things I tried were wiping cache, dalvik cache, factory reset, I even restored a backup from a different rom but the problem wouldn't dissapear.
I was on cyanogenmod 10.1 PRO in the beginning. the backup I restored was PAC-Rom from nims11.
My computer had some problems too and it said DNS server not responding(or something like that) but it works again.
So is is something with my phone or is there something wrong with my router?
forgot to say: I also tried reinstalling wifi drivers on my ace with *#*#526#*#* but when I type the code it simply dissapears.
Thanks in advance!

Hello!
I'm a newcomer in this forum
I had this problem which just occurred this morning. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy Pocket GT-S5300. I had decided to factory data reset my phone after i had updated its firmware via kies. After the reset (of course I have expected that all my files will be wiped out and that I'll be starting back to scratch), i was asked to set up a google account. So i just signed in but an odd thing happened. My account won't log in and the screen shows this one- Can’t Establish a Reliable Data Connection to the Server. I can't even update the software or create a samsung account. The worst thing is that when i activate the phone for sync or turn on wifi, i always get this message "the application google services framework has stopped unexpectedly." I am so frustrated with what's happening with my phone and so I decided to surf the net for possible solutions. I have undertaken the following solutions but nothing works
1.) clear the cache (on recovery mode)
2.) factory data reset
3.) turning sync off, accessing the manage application>all directory and clearing the cache for contacts, contacts storage, calendar, calendar storage, internet, google services or applications
4.) rebooting the device
I hope someone can answer or possibly give some solutions to this concern of mine
God Bless!

I bricked mine and it only boot and display android logo and a box looking like a trash with an arrow pointing out the box. what do I do so when I use key combinations it can boot to recovery mode?
thanks in advance
About the Google services I had the same problem on my brother's HTC EVO 3D. After I reflashed his ROM(Synergy) the problem still persisted so I cleared everything that was in recovery. I reflashed the Rom again and the problem was solved.

Hello everyone,
I'll explain my problem: a few days back, I unlocked bootloader, flashed CWM and flashed Viperone rom (2.7.0) Everything worked fine.
This morning, my google apps weren't working (gmail not syncing, can't login to youtube and can't watch videos (even though I get all the thumbnails) but internet works fine... When I open the play store, all I get is "No connection" and "Retry"
I tried clearing data but to no use
I then tried wiping cache and dalvik cache in recovery mode, when rebooting, my phone got stuck in a boot loop with "process system isn't responding"
I held power button and volume - for about 10 sec and it rebooted fine, gapps still aren't working though...
What can I do to resolve this issue ? (without losing data if possible)
Thank you
