Flash a overclockable kernel such as Thor Kernel,
Download Tegrak Overclock or SetCPU
Then using the preferred app, start overclocking!

Use setiron's 1.4.7 oc @1200. This is Odin-flashable only. Don't install it via CWM. Link below.

Get Xan's Voltage Control 2.0RC3. That's the version I'm using with setiron's 1.4.7 oc @1200.
Just make sure you back up all your data and disable voodoo lagfix beforehand. Kernel swapping doesn't always go smoothly.
i need a kernel that supports both upto 1.5 or 1.6 OC and allows costum boot anim and root to stock rom thx in advance
btw is it worth swiching to CM7 or miui ?
You can try TalonDev

If you are using CM7 you can flash the Glitch kernel. But I am warning you, it won't be stable. 1.4 is the usual upper limit, and even then a lot of games won't run properly.

but its only 1.2 oc i need 1.4 and above and for the other guy i dont have CM ihave stock rom
Tornado kernel Aureus Neutrino runs stable at 1.5, is rooted and proven.
which program i use to clock my o2x? i have rooted ics v30b (india)
setcpu doesnt work
You can't overclock with the stock kernel. Go to the development section and pick a custom ICS kernel, then you will be able to overclock.

You can try kob 0.5, or civz kernels....but if you have no init.d support....not sure if all the functions would....
Better do a nandroid backup and then try this.....just to be safe
O2X with Magical ICS ROM and magnificent kernels from my buddies

Try CivZ SkyWalker, you can OC up to 1.5Ghz (but it's too high, i recommend 1.3 Ghz) and you can OC your GPU up to 400Mhz.

If you install my kernel init.d is supported and the needed files are installed, but the user of a full stock rom will need to install busybox and be rooted .

GPU scales itself to max 450MHz it is not something the user controls. Read info in kernel thread.

Right now you will need to install a Kernel that allows for OC on top of your current custom ROM. OC Kernels are marked with "OC" so that you can find them easily.

This kernel is no longer being developed, so it does not incorporate any recent changes from the Cm builds.

Blurry 2.5 has a oc kernel built in with it. 1.2gig. Has CPU sleeper an custom governers with it.. Only bad thing is its on 4.1.2 not 4.2.2. In my opinion I'd rather be on 4.2.2 then gain 200mhz
Hi guys!
Stock ROM OverClock How to?
If you want to stay on stock rom you can install CroPol Kernel to OC CPU up to 1.2 GHz and the GPU up to 729MHz (stock is 400). But keep in mind that your WiFi won't work on Stock.
OC is only possible if the kernel supports it - and stock kernel doesn´t.
CyanogenMod charge eats too much. So I had to use the Stock ROM. Rootl already. I picked up the absurd application of the Samsung phone but still does not work fast. OC Kernel does not work on stock ROM kernel. OC kernel have installed the WiFi does not work. What can I do to speed up the phone?
I'm using Google translation. I hope you understand what I said.
