[ROM][Samsung gt-s5570]MiniMod X FINAL -very mini very fast

13-08-2011 minimodX slicker than a well-oiled weasel
- installer borrowed/modded from T.J´s & paramasis ideas work

now lets see:
pre root deodexed vanilla KPK with su,jit,a2sd,juwes ramscript,dsp manager, Open VPn (tun.ko) Cifs manager (cifs.ko), hosts patched (adsblocked),Stock samsung launcher -wallpaper works now.. Android Keyb - useless pile ocrap -Autokiller mem app -Obsolete, using juwe script in rom instead - less bloat.
Sdbooster - Obsolete -new script in init.d -faster less bloat. CRT fx screen off ( settings-display-enable animatons).
Reboot menu had to go. (you can add it easy if you know what yer doin
yep thats it + gui changes.
The Idea with minimod was to remove bloat - and that worked very well - paramasi and Meistro T.j did great work but still the roms are vanilla and full of stuff I never use - so just try your vanilla or xmod or andro-id or cyano - its a matter of taste.
easy run minimodX @ 7-8xx mhz? - use the OC kernels in paramasi rom and remember to put cache on SDEXT -BEFORE flashing oc kernel

NOTE!: First boot takes time - let it finish

Flash MiniMod ROM :
Download and copy the latest Minimod ROM to SD Card
Reboot to Recovery Mode
Select install zip from sd card
Select choose zip from sd card
Select the new MiniMod ROM
Select Yes - Install update
Wait till the Installation is finish
Select reboot system now
Install only if you know you have 2.3.4 + CWM

Install firmware in One package using odin.
Then flash cwm using one package in odin.
then instal rom frm sd card using cwm

I'm new to xda-developers but not completely new to android. I have also created my own ROM, which is pretty amazing trust me, but apparently I am not allowed to share it with others unless I get quite a lot of thanks and stuff so if this helps you please press the thank button.
OK, here we go:
ROM => (CM7.2 vo-1) =>http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1360889&highlight=cyanogenmod+7+2+rc1+by+vo-1
the kernel on this ROM is perfect so you don't need to change the kernel.
Script => (Adrenaline™ Engine) =>http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1579710&highlight=adrenaline+engine
this script will do, you don't need to fill your phone with scripts and stuff ok
Note!! => CM7.2 (cyanogenmod 7.2) is obviously not in need of any app or script to control the CPU, to do so simply go to settings>cyanogenmod settings>performance>cpu and there you could do whatever you want. also cynogenmod is apparently asked by google to not include their apps in the rom so you will have to flash them your self to do so simply click on this link to download them >>>I'm a link<<< and then flash the zip through clockwork mod ...
Also you may decrease the force closes by making a swap partition on your sd since you have a 16gb one. this also helps to smooth out some games and you will be able to do more multi tasking. to do this reboot into clockwork mod... (note if you partition your sd you will loose all data so copy all the things you have there to your pc and another thing partitioning your sd could decrease the sd lifetime) then choose advance next choose partition sd card now it will ask you to set the size choose 256mb and 256mb again thats more than enough for me but its always up to you mate.
once you have done all that and everything is up and running download root explorer or any app that allows you to access root directory. since cyanogenmod comes with this ****ing ADWlauncher (no offence to the devs) you defiantly gonna have to change it. this holo launcher thingy is the best home launcher ever so here is the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1636478 download the latest stable version. now use your root file manager to move the apk file to this location /system/app then change the permissions to rw-r--r-- ok? now delete Adwlauncher.apk and adwlauncher.odex go it ? note!! install another launcher like launcher pro before you do just in case anything goes wrong. reboot now. cool.
there are many things you could do mate but I don't even know if you will use or read all of that so this is it for now if you run into any problem or want more stuff and tweaks let me know ill be more than happy to help

hmm, i'm using team 16 gb class 10 and a2sd.. my config is 2gb for sd-ext and 100mb for swap with swappines 60%..
my rom is lewa without any script, i don't like placebo script..

is there any script to flash or kernel for better performance and battery consumption?
and what about memory do i need to install any script?
i'm new with this device any help or tricks would be appreciated.

I suggest you to install the Datafix app from Google Play and move some apps to /data partition because if you install many applications the /datadata partition it will get full and you will see force closing apps. Also install Root Uninstaller or something similar and get rid of the unnecessary system apps. If you do this your CM9 experience will be a pleasant one. This rom is very stable and bug free.

i am stock rom 2.3.6 ace but i am reverting to latest mardon stable build cm 10.1 but before that i wanna try some combinations please tell whether they are worth a shot
1 pure performance + fly on mod + nims kernel
2 pure performance + fly on mod + battery extender kernel
3 pure performance + fly on mod on stock kernel
4 pure performance + fly on mod + crossbreeder on stock kernel
5 pure performance + fly on mod + crossbreeder + adrenaline engine on stock kernel
which is the best combo for performance and descent battery life
please reply fast i a waiting

3, 4 and 5 option aren't possible... you need a CUSTOM kernel to use those scripts and an init.d folder ...

1 flashed stock 2.3.6 on my ace through odin
2 placed update1 file on sd card and rooted phone by applying update from sd
3 installed cwm
4 flashed battery extender kernel {without mounting anything}
5 rebooted and saw superuser icon disappear
please help me
also before flashing intext+ do i have to mount data and system and after flashing do i have to format sdext and also mount something after that to make script work

You need an .ext2/3/4 partition (sd-ext)
1. Root your device
2. Install CWM 5.0.2.6 Fixed
3. Flash Battery Extender kernel/ ROM
4. Flashing the script:
>>> mount data
>>> mount system
>>> mount sd-ext
>>> format SD-EXT (YOUR EXTERNAL PARTITION, NOT YOUR SD!)
5. Flash the script!
It should work

Pure performance and Fly On mod are not compatible, you'll mess up your phone if you install them toghether. Read carefully all threads.

I recommend not to use combination of different scripts/tweaks. I tried pure performances x & supercharger v6 on stock & lost data connection for weeks. The same happened with other combos (can't remember which). Flashing stock via odin didn't help either ! So better be careful & don't use any combo. Try them as a lone. They work great.

You did not follow steps carefully i think
And you must have a kernel with proper init.d support
Otherwise it would brick ur device
I flashed it on cm 7 cm 9 and other stock based roms working fine

Or stock one?
In some roms especially stock ones after first boot device will be not so fast
I faced this
Reboot again
You will get better speed
Although it depends on circumstances
If u installed a custom rom i cant say it will give u full speed
Cause different programming
Or
If u have a installed heavy weight roms(cm11 kitkat or lolipop roms)that are laggy my mod cant give u expected performence that i said
Or if u have lot of app installed
Internal or system memory almost full
Or
Other mods installed
That can messed up together can create problem or may brick ur phone
So it depends on situation anyways
In the next update i will add cyanogenmod performence and battery scripts

I will suggest you to use thunderkernel it has more features than rafael's kernel
More frequency
More governors
More i/o scheduler
And modded voltages
And replaced stock recovery with clockworkmod recovery use it
I used rafael earlier but not so much impressed but when i flashed it
I decided to stick with it forever
