I've been following the shipping thread and clearly many people are annoyed at google for assorted reasons.
I won't go into those here, I personally didn't think they had been terrible (not great) until a post I read yesterday.
It now seems Google have informed Play customers that anyone who pre-ordered a 16GB unit after 30th June will now have to wait until 20th July for shipping.
Yet tons of other retailers are now shipping and selling in store the 16GB units.
So basically we have a situation where Google has accepted pre-orders early July and then knowingly shipped 16GB product to other retailers knowing full well they wouldn't be able to cover Play store pre-orders. That is disgusting to my mind.
I ordered my 16GB on 28 Jun, and haven't heard anything yet....
Check out how screwed Canada is getting. Here is when Google is saying that 16GB units ordered in June are shipping:
US: July 19
UK: July 20
Australia: July 19
Canada: July 24-31 (? 1-2 weeks from July 17)
Meanwhile there are 16GB for sale in multiple stores. I am on the edge of just buying one somewhere else and telling them to shove their useless pre-order.

It's just wrong.
From the start Google should have said Play store preorders will be allowed until say 7th July at which point they stop, they then should have ensured they had enough stock to cover those before sending out to other retailers.
Very obviously if someone pre-orders from Google on the 4th July they should get it sooner or at least the same time as someone else that preorders the same item from another retailer on the 15th July.

Hi Guys just thought it might be a good idea to run a separate thread, specifically for people who ordered on the 4/12/2012 17:00 onwards...
Who have not not received shipping notification or worse still, not received any further updates beyond their order being placed on the 4th
I put a 16GB in the basket at 505 email confirmation states 507 (1-2 weeks)
Google Play is still showing 4th December (went from pending to pre-order about a week ago)
Google Wallet is showing 4th December
Funds were reserved initially however they have now been released
I did not receive the Saturday (15) update ie order moved to the 15th nor were funds re applied
Everything is basically the same as when I ordered on the 4th
I'm in exactly the same boat.
I emailed TNT and they said they have nothing for my address

Hi I ordered mine 18th Feb with a ship date of 6 march but received it on the 27 Feb
I ordered mine on 17 Feb Feb with 6 March dispatch date and it is being prepared for dispatch today.
Obviously they are not dispatching according to order date as I would have received mine before the last poster.
I have ordered mine at 14 of Feb and received the device at 26th.
are your orders with the bluetooth controller ,mine has the bundled controller as has been prepared for dispatch ,
spoke to samsung earlier in the week and the customer service lady stated that we probably not receive it till monday as they do not deliver saturday.

That's a good point for I've ordered the Bluetooth controller bundle and that might explain the delay.
Thanks for the Monday delivery information, saves me staying in Saturday.
Please don't take the monday delivery as gospal ,but it seems that might be the case as it has not gone out for delivery yet and is still at the distribution warehouse at my end at 5.pm on friday
My order has been dispatched and there is a tracking number but when I click on it nothing happens. Any idea why the tracking number link is not working?

Solved it. You don't click on the tracking number, you click on the text "Tracking your shipment" which precedes it.
Thanks all - spoke to samsung today and there is a delay due to game pad. Was told that some might be shipping without game pad for the time being and the game pad arriving two weeks later. I ordered on the 2nd February and just received a text now that delivery is arranged for Monday.
Update - mine is now getting delivered today

With an expected delivery date of Monday 9th March 2015.
I've just rung UKMail and they said the item was collected from Samsung at 12:30 yesterday but not delivered today because Samsung had not requested next day or express delivery.
mine now updated states 12.30 today (saturday) that "delayed" and is still on awaiting collection .
spoke to samsung they blamed late friday bookings for collection for uk mail and said mine SHOUID be here monday or tuesday WTF
WHERE IS THE EXPRESS SHIPPING it stated that i was going to get when i ordered ? also it states uk mail don't deliver saturday on the uk mail website that i looked at .
totally shambolic way to treat customers again waited a month for a complete balls up
Yes I am complained on Friday for getting vague answers from Samsung when they have had my money for a month already. Mine has been delivered now - I was sent an hour time frame today but the tracker showed the delivery date as 9/2 but it came right within the hour today.
Just got mine today just backing up the memory card and then coping the entire memory card to my current 64gb card then will try.
You guys are lucky that you can even order one ..I live in Guernsey and I spoke to samsung who tell me they will not deliver here. They did say I could try a different samsung site like samsung France or Germany but didn't know if they would ship either.
so great help really so much for a multi billion pound company that can't even send a parcel to Guernsey.
I really don't want to have to buy a 2nd hand one from eBay ..but what other choice is there?

Guernsey is not the only place being shunned by Samsung. There are 9 experience shops in England and none in Scotland, you would think they could manage one in Glasgow and Edinburgh. Poor service for Scotland.
There have been threads here about dealing with Merimobiles. I would like to add to the chorus of people suggesting that you stay away from this company because of their unacceptable business practices.
I ordered a smartphone from them on November 4th, 2015. I received an email from them advising me that they shipped the phone on November 9th, 2015. I asked them on numerous occasions why the tracking information did not show up on the DHL website. On November 13th, 2015 after close of business a shipping label showed up as being printed. I asked Merimobiles again why the shipment did not show up on the DHL tracking, other than a label having been printed. I have an email from them on Sunday November 15th, 2015 re-confirming that it had been shipped on November 9th, 2015 and that DHL was just slow at their end.
I asked them to check in to it at Merimobiles. No response.
I then went on to PayPal and filed a dispute. About two hours later they responded that the shipment went out on the close of business November 16th, 2015 (Hong Kong time). The shipment then showed as having been picked up on the DHL website tracking page. The company misrepresented the situation three or four times. They insisted throughout that the problem was with DHL. Their customer service people are either misinformed or deceitful. I'll let the reader decide which one they believe.
I would think that with the number of re-sellers of Chinese phones it's not necessary to deal with these people given the way they conduct themselves.
I have had run ins with them before. They have phones on their website for which they have no inventory. After you order and nothing happens, they then tell you they have no inventory. Enough said.
In my opinion, stay away from these guys. If others have had the same or different experiences, please post them here. Thanks for reading this.

Update. Newegg has apparently sent out an email stating that they are delaying shipping since they have received NO STOCK FROM ZTEUSA. That's just CLASSIC. Way to drop the ball on your USA launch ZTE.
BTW, I've still received no shipping notification or tracking info from ZTE regarding my pre-order as of 5pm on Friday, September 6.
EDIT: B&H Photo has now also sent out an email to customers saying they have not yet received the product from ZTE.
Hey all. I got my shipping confirmation and tracking number email from my ZTEUSA preorder at 4:31am EST. Looks like I'm good to go! Thanks! Only annoying thing is that they shipped Friday night at 9pm using FedEx 2 day, so the estimated delivery day is Tuesday because of the weekend. 2 day delivery has now become 4 day. Lame.
