I ordered two, on two different cards.
I got an e-mail notification for each.
However, when going under the Google Play store, one has the status 'Shipping estimate: November 15, 2012' and the other just says 'Complete'. Even though I ordered the one that says 'complete' first. When I go to Google Wallet, it has both of them under pending. They should both ship at the same time, correct?
I got a confirmation about half an hour after ordering, but it's been about 11 hours and still no shipping confirmation..
Got it a couple of hours late.
I got an order confirmation within 20-25 minutes after ordering. My order was placed at 11:35:08 EST. Status still sitting at Shipping estimate: November 15, 2012.

Never got the sale email, but I checked around 11:35AM and saw they were on sale. After a few attempts on my laptop, I pulled my phone out and completed the checkout there. I think Google Wallet was actually what was causing the issue for me at least, because as soon as I went to the mobile version of checkout, it went through no problem.
Got my order confirmation about 45 nerve-wracking minutes later as I was second-guessing whether it went through on my phone or not. :silly:

Got an email about 2 hours ago, contacted Google to see how long it would take to ship, I got a reply in 30 seconds stating that the order will ship on the evening of the 15th!!!! YES!

I have not got my confirmation email yet but on my Walletit says pending and estimated shipping November 15th so I think I'm good.
When did you place your chromecast order with play store? what was your initial estimate and when was it shipped?
It helps others like myself whose order is "Pending".
I placed my order on Aug 8th. The estimate was 2-3 weeks and the order is still pending .
Update:
Looks like I've placed duplicate orders. So, I've two extra chromecasts to get rid off. They will ship from google on Aug 29th to my US address. They will be shipped to Bangalore,India immediately after delivery at my US address. Send me a PM if you are interested. You will pay only whatever it costed me to get them here, not a penny extra

I ordered on 7th Aug. Mine is pending too.Status on google play says ships by 29th Aug.
Order #1: Ordered July 24th. Google said it would ship August 2nd. It arrived July 29th, much earlier than expected.
Order #2: Ordered August 6th, Google said shipping in 3-4 weeks. Online lookup in the play store says it will ship by August 29th.
Ordered on 29th July. Expected shipping date 23rd august.

Just an FYI. A pending debit doesn't actually remove the money from your account, it's just a hold. You can call your bank and release that hold at any time.

Obviously they are not dispatching according to order date as I would have received mine before the last poster.

That's a good point for I've ordered the Bluetooth controller bundle and that might explain the delay.
Thanks for the Monday delivery information, saves me staying in Saturday.
Please don't take the monday delivery as gospal ,but it seems that might be the case as it has not gone out for delivery yet and is still at the distribution warehouse at my end at 5.pm on friday
My order has been dispatched and there is a tracking number but when I click on it nothing happens. Any idea why the tracking number link is not working?

Solved it. You don't click on the tracking number, you click on the text "Tracking your shipment" which precedes it.
Thanks all - spoke to samsung today and there is a delay due to game pad. Was told that some might be shipping without game pad for the time being and the game pad arriving two weeks later. I ordered on the 2nd February and just received a text now that delivery is arranged for Monday.

I've just rung UKMail and they said the item was collected from Samsung at 12:30 yesterday but not delivered today because Samsung had not requested next day or express delivery.
mine now updated states 12.30 today (saturday) that "delayed" and is still on awaiting collection .
spoke to samsung they blamed late friday bookings for collection for uk mail and said mine SHOUID be here monday or tuesday WTF
WHERE IS THE EXPRESS SHIPPING it stated that i was going to get when i ordered ? also it states uk mail don't deliver saturday on the uk mail website that i looked at .

Yes I am complained on Friday for getting vague answers from Samsung when they have had my money for a month already. Mine has been delivered now - I was sent an hour time frame today but the tracker showed the delivery date as 9/2 but it came right within the hour today.
Just got mine today just backing up the memory card and then coping the entire memory card to my current 64gb card then will try.
You guys are lucky that you can even order one ..I live in Guernsey and I spoke to samsung who tell me they will not deliver here. They did say I could try a different samsung site like samsung France or Germany but didn't know if they would ship either.
so great help really so much for a multi billion pound company that can't even send a parcel to Guernsey.
I really don't want to have to buy a 2nd hand one from eBay ..but what other choice is there?

Guernsey is not the only place being shunned by Samsung. There are 9 experience shops in England and none in Scotland, you would think they could manage one in Glasgow and Edinburgh. Poor service for Scotland.

Press release clearly tells us this Friday, though.
"Preorders will begin shipping Friday, Aug. 14. Both smartphones will be available in Sprint Stores and all other sales channels beginning Friday, Aug. 21"

At least you guys were able to get your orders in. It trying to get mew to change my data plan which I do not want to do. Trying to order the Galaxy Tab 4 and it wants me to select a data plan. Hopefully the person I am chatting with will get it sorted for me.

I placed an order at 5pm PST on Thursday, 8/13/15, since the Sprint website said pre-orders being shipping on 8/14. My current status is still "waiting at the warehouse to be processed". At 5pm today, Customer Service Live Chat said that my order will be shipped by the end of the day because almost all of the pre-orders were practically ready for shipment at the warehouse. A few hours later, my status hadn't changed, so I contacted them again at 8pm. He then stated that it should now ship this weekend.
*Update:
At 11pm last night, I received an email saying that it shipped through UPS. The Sprint site says that it shipped and supplied a UPS tracking number, but the UPS site says that it's just "ready for UPS" and does not provide an estimated arrival date other than 2-day air.
This time its Sprint first. Last year, T-mobile users get their N4 first.
i'm not on Sprint, but FedEx tracking shows my wife's ATT Note 5 is scheduled for delivery on Monday, August 17th... surprised it's shipping that soon.
ATT also. Tuesday arrival. gonna miss my SD slot. but gonna love the phone no matter the difference

Ordered tab s8u on 2/16. Got the tab s8u on 3/ 16. This thing is huge. Arrived with the buds 2. Still have not received the kb cover. Getting anxious about that. Samsung Canada basically left me high and dry. Sent 2 emails. Sat on hold for live chat for an entire day. Got through on one call. They were not helpful. Said the same thing as the buggy order tracker webpage. "PROCESSING". The samsung canada webpage hardly loads my order when im logged in, and when i just input my order number it rarely finds it. I will not preorder anything again. A month to deliver it? They couldn't figure out how to send an automated "delayed" email? Really samsung? And not having the kb cover is very frustrating. If anyone wants to buy a pair of buds 2 hmu! Lol. I hope you all get your devices soon. This thing is insane. It's just not very handheld friendly! Constantly worried about dropping it. But it's so thin it's hard to hold.

Wow. That's a shame some appointed social media mod or admin felt they had to resort to that. Shocking and sad. I hope you get your keyboard soon. At least their live chat went all professional and nice for me, even though they came back and said they couldn't do anything to help me get my Ultra 512 GB any sooner than ~2 months after my pre-order, and that they were working as fast as they can. I have no reason to particularly doubt them, it's just disappointing.
purchase the tab in hk 2/19 and got glass protector on the spot, the keyboard folder got it on 3/17. I had to register online, samsung did not send any email, until its time to collect the folder/keyboard

I just got my email, too: "Your shipment has been delayed for 30 days", but the contents of the email are just "We apologize that your Samsung order #__________ is delayed more than 30 days." so at least, I don't think they're saying it's delayed even further than it already was, at least not yet according to my expected delivery date, since I ordered on February 19th, and the initial delivery date was said to be April 15th, and it changed to April 19th in the last couple of weeks or so.

An update: four days after the email citing a 30 day delay, I got another saying it's shipped. FEDEX showing it will be here next Tuesday.
We in Hong Kong collect the gift from the service center, hk s not like the rest of the world which rely on mail.

Nice surprise : it arrived with the cover keyboard even if it was supposed to be shipped a week later.
I got my keyboard and couldn't get on with it.
I ended up getting the book cover instead - Very nice indeedy!
I ordered my S8+ on Feb 18th, it just got pushed back to April 26th. Bummer.
Oh!!!!! Samsung just changed the date of my delivery of the Tab S8 Ultra 512GB Wi-Fi for the second time, now April 26th. It was April 19th up through yesterday, and April 15th originally (pre-ordered February 23rd).
Finally! Samsung has said they've shipped my Tab S8 Ultra 512GB Wi-Fi and should arrive two days from now. No word on the keyboard, yet - still shows as not shipped.
