Statusbar disappears after standby/sleep (Overcome Jupiter)

Hello all,
I have a mysterious (at least for me) problem. Sometimes after my Tab (Overcome Jupiter) was in sleep/standby mode the StatusBar completely disappeared (is no longer visible), and I have to reboot the Tab to get it back.
Do you know this problem?
Is there any remedy for it?

Yes, I've changed nothing to the stock Overcome rom.

What version of Jupiter did you flash and how did you flash: Wipe, nowipe, stock safe then wipe? Are you using any battery saving apps? Are you OC/UV?

The latest v3.0.1 Jupiter (Kernel v3.3.0 #79)

I had the cache partition problem (market out of memory), so I restocked with v5 + wipe.

This a good point, I use no battery saving app, but I OC (1200Mhz), with slightly UV (-25mV), but not at 100 Mhz (and 600 Mhz), with this setting my Tab is absolutely stable.
But the first time I saw the disappearing StatusBar was after I tried to UV the 100 Mhz setting (only by -25 mV).
My first thought was, that this could be related to the UV at 100 Mhz (because the Tab is running with 100 Mhz (or Deep Sleep) when in standby/sleep), so I reverted the UV at 100 Mhz back to stock.
I never have had a problem to wake up the Tab (hang/crash) and besides the disappeared StatusBar it is working fine without the StatusBar displayed.
Is it really possible that only the StatusBar task/process could freeze due to OC/UV?

If you want stable and quite fast ROM I rocommend EmaNon, if you want nice and fast but not that stable like as EmaNon I recommend Cyanogen, If you love music and you don't need very smooth and stable rom CM7 music edition - for you.

Thanks, I had tried the Cyanogen, but it always crashed, now I'll try the Emanon.

i would recommend u cm7 music edition
but if u have time and nervs like me u can test all roms

1. Ginger-Fire aka Ginger-Gear v2
2. Emanon ROM (with OC Kernel)
Both can use OC Kernel for Andro-ID by squadzone
For Custom AOSP ROM (CyanogenMod) :
1. CM 7 Music Edition (a bit tricky during flashing)
2. CM 7 - 1102011 by squadzone (lots of OC Kernel)
3. CM 7 - 09102011 by tj_style (pure CM 7 experience)
All CM 7 can use OC kernels for CM 7 by squadzone, recommended : bootsmart18f-763 MHz max

If You Hope For CM7 Try
- CM-7 Music
- Cm-7 OC by SquadZone

im using CM by tj_styles OC kernel by squadzone + increase graphic performance.. soo far its good..

I'm using CM7 with OC kernel continued (build 13.11) by squadzone Now works perfectly!
I've tested CM7 music edition but did not convince me. Something I missed it simply. ;-)

CM7 Music Edition with squadzone OC kernel works great! My benchmark result is around 1800.

Unofficial CyanogenMod 7.1.0 ( 2.3.7 ) Build 15112011 the best!!

the music edition has even more features...but its slow...the next version is due and would be uploaded very soon....and i expect that to be better..
P.S. even EmanoN v3 is coming soon...so you might try both...though you'll prefer CM7 music edition just by the first look, you can always try
a problem i have with cyanogenmods is that the contacts application does not support selective friend syncing from facebook and not even deleting multiple contacts...
so it depends on what you want...

I have been using several custom rom but not all and this is my personal choice.

4)CM7 Squadzone
The new CM7 by squadzone seems buggy to me and I doesnt yet test the flaztki rom
If you want to overclock CM7 music edition and tj_style use the oc kernel from this thread.

Be more specific, but full wipe and reflash won't harm if problem consists then try another kernel. If you're total noob I would install Gingerbread DjangoManouche with spica kernel pre sr4
Remember, CM9 ain't finished like Gingerbread CM9 still buggy Gingerbread ain't, and DjangoManouche has the best in my opinion, great speed, smoothness and stability

Try to use a app called GetRIL from Google Play, its free.. Download and install the RIL if it dosen't match..Reboot..
Don't know for sure it do help, but it doesn't do any harm...

Hi Guys,
I want to know wich is your current setup.
Mine is CyanogenMod 10.2 with Stock Kernel and Nova Prime it runs really good.
But otherwise i love the stock Optimus UI 3.0 but i have that Problem that when I have some Apps installed on V20x the Launcher need 5-10 seconds
to restart for example when i installed a new app from google play store.
Has anyone tested V6 Supercharger with Die Hard Launcher?
It would be interesting to know your setup

I use JellyBeer + Optimus Prime kernel (underclcok to 1200 Mhz, wheatley + row), with Nova Prime Launcher. Phone works very good

Use cyanogenmod 10.2 nightly + iodak kernel v8 test with 1600 mhz overclock and nova launcher prime. Super smooth

cyanogenmod 10.1 custom from arararagi + optimus prime 2.7 kernel
battery friendly, and i like it like that, also nice and smooth

Zaiben+ iodak good to get started, is the first room that it I put, the games run well, even I have difficulties with the camera.

I don't know what games you play. CM10.2 - IODAK v8 is a million times smoother, CM10.1 is sloooowwww in 3D performance

[Q] Optimus 4x gets stuck when turning on the screen.

My current optmus 4x is running cyanogenmod 11 09-23 with mourta kernal aug 24th 3.1.10.
Cpu governer ABYSSPLUGV2
Min cpu 102 MHz
max 1500MHz
Sometimes when i turn on the screen , the screen doesnt turn on and the home menu back button backlight lights up for a few seconds and goes off. The only option I have is to pull out the battery and restart. This is very frustration cuz this happens 3 4 times a day. Any solutions?

Very simple, download and flash latest cm 14.11. and use his kernel. And life is great again
Edit: Don't mix mourta kernel and cm ROM. If you use mourta's kernel then use LS ROM from mourta, and if you don't want problems carefully folow threads on modaco.

If i update through my phone using wifi is it alright?
also could you reccomend a good cpu settings and in memory management should i tick allow purging of assets and kernal samepage merging?
