Well, GT-S5570I is different than other GT-S5570 handsets. So, roms made for GT-S5570 and it's variants like GT-S5570L can't be flashed in GT-S5570I. To root your handset, you can use the instructions I provided you. For other things such as clockwork mod recovery, there's a thread in development section and they have got CWM for galaxy pop plus (s5570i) as well. You might also find other information at that thread, so it's recommend to go through that one first.
yah thanks for it and ill do it later. btw which development section? because this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1729220 is from galaxy y section.
last week I help my friend to root his phone hi has Samsung galaxy mini gt-s5570i this phone use sim card.i followed a tutorial and download a zip from this page but did not work then in the sd card I found this zip <bcmroot> my friend he doesn't know about this get to the sd card, he supuse the place unlock the phone maybe they put the zip in there so go to the recovery mod and flash it if your phone is the same it will work.im sorry for my bad English thanks.

Hi guys, I'm desperately searching for a stock Nobrand ROM for
Samsung Galaxy Mini PRO (GT i5510)
I' can't find it anywhere, so I thought to put a ROM of the galaxy Mini inside the mini pro.
Are they compatible or not?

Thanks, You're very kind, I was getting mad!!!
Oh, another little thing (if you know would be awesome):
I have rooted the phone, installed the clockwork recovery. To install this ROM have I to use ODIN, or can I put it inside the SD card and flash it through recovery? Thanks
Thanks !!

Ok, I have a problem, the phone is not mine but of a friend. He told me that there was the mod recovery but there is only root.
Now, I have installed ROM Manager, but when I install the clockworkrecovery through it, he gives me various devices to choose from, but there isn't the galaxy (there is huawei, dell, but not samsung).
How can I install a recovery in this phone?
Second question: if I do not install a clockwork recovery, so only havong Root, can I install the ROM with ODIN without having a clockwork recovery?
Please help
Helo I recently got a Galaxy ace, while I thought It would be the s5830 model I got the s5839i.
I know the roms seem to be compatible (even though there isn't much information about that), but I was wondering if the clockworkmod5830i zip file is too, so I can install roms without big worries (i'm posting this because if I tried it and bricked the phone... there wouldn't be any way to go back since there are no 5839i odin files out there or anything)
S5839i is S5830i.
S5839i or S5830i is not S5830!!

Hey mate,
I'm new to all this too and have recently bought a s5839i (2 weeks ago), I aslo bricked my phone after 2 days as I found information on the s5839i sparce and I didnt take the time to reseach up as I should have done.
Ive since found out that Odin v1.83 works with our devices and I reloaded with a stock polish rom from sammobile and everything was fine again I couldnt get the clockworkmod to fully work on the rom, you could install it but when I went into recovery mode after a reboot it would just go back to the android version rather that the ClockworkMod.
I then tried the Retribution_beta3.5 and it works fantastic, looks so much better than stock and I also now have the flash player working which was my aim from the get go. I am now able to run ClockworkMod v5.0.2.6 and back up my device.
The only thing that worries me now is in "about phone" my model number now shows up as GT-S5830i rather than GT-S5839i, sure it make no difference like.
Hope this helps you, Im just reading as many threads as I can now to find out more info, I want to get the sky go app to work.

Hello,
From this it follows that we can flashing our s5839i using s5830i rom?
I can't find polish clean (unbranded) rom for s5839i, because I have a lot of problems with my T-mobile rom. (S5839iBOLC5). And also I can't flash CWM recovery for it. Only root works fine.
I found S5839IXXLD2 and S5839IBULI1 but whether is there polish language?
How can I checked it?

Hello there,
This is my first post and question. I hope I'll get the right answer here.
I've been reading lately that is better to have an old recovery clockwork 5.x.x.x than 6.x.x.x for custom rom like CyanogenMod 9 and other based on CM9 roms. I'm asking because I have a lot of problems and I want to see if I change CWM what will be the different. Do you think this will help? If YES - Can you tell me how to change my CWM6 to CWM5 without flashing the ROM and loose all my app and settings?
Thanks a lot and sorry for my bad English!

Need to know what is your phone model . Check Here to chose your forum/Guide by Version of your phone or you will have more problems by using wrong solutions due to different versions of Galaxy S
just flash the correct semaphore kernel according to version of i9000 ROM you are using from My Android Collections to get the correct CWM
you will not lose any data by doing this

Both thread are stickied and always on top, ( not every model gets this privilege) I guess you must have overlooked them.
anyway to get the i9001 CWM, just look under "Android Rescue, Recovery Kits" in My Android Collections

use CWM 6 or TWRP 6 for latest versions, if your CWM is wrong, upgrades via CWM will fail, so downgrading CWM is not wise.
Best use i9001 WIKI for guidance

I would rather say go with cwm 5.x.x.x . CWM6 has some bugs (reboots sometimes in between flashing a rom), which can actually brick ur phone!

Curentlly I'm with CWM6 and I tought if I change it with CWM5 this will help me and my phone to not switch off by it self. I have just realized that my problem is not connected with the recovery by another user. What other can I do?
Hey guys,
I have a Samsung galaxy ace s5830D. As I have sort of figured out it is different than the galaxy ace s5830 and the s5830i. I was able to root it with superoneclick. But my bootloader just says "installation aborted" when I try installing clockwork mod or any custom roms. If you have a fix for this that would be greatly appreciated !
Sorry if I'm kind of a noob. But i can't find any threads for this phone at all /:
Thanks, guys.
Bootloader?? Shouldn't you flash it in the recovery ??
The s5830D is not really that much different than the standard s5830, other than regional stuff. I have the "D" model and have been using the info for the standard s5830. Same roms, recovery and tutorials work.
Would you be so kind as to link to the appropriate s5830 roms and tuts that worked out for you, please?
I've seen some thread where people haven't had as good luck as yourself with s5830 stuff working on s5830D devices.
I cant remember for sure which one I used for cwm, but this one seems familiar to me. As for ROM's its a matter of finding one you like, read the developers threads to get an idea of if that ROM is what you want. At the moment I'm using Democracy final, but I change ROM's like crazy. lol. Another one I am fond of is Apocolypse. Again, these both appealed to me and suited my use of my Ace. Just make sure that anytime you flash anything thats it's for the s5830, as flashing something for other variants will brick your phone..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1797986
If you want to check out the 2 roms I mentioned:
Democracy Final Edition
Apocolypse Final
Similar problem but I can't figure it out
oops nvm, delete this post
I have a Galaxy Ace 2(GT-I8160), and remember when I was trying new roms, a few of them offered a patch, that was switching the internal USB memory(where everything goes) with the External SD card(which is usable only for music, photos and downloads). Now a friend of mine has the same issues that the memory gets filled in magical way and there is nothing left to do except maybe to restore factory defaults(which is annoying IMO). So I am asking is there any sort of trick which could be used to achieve the same result, and use the 8gig SD card as a internal memory?
The phone is Samsung Galaxy Ace (Three UK) more info could be provided later today.
The best scenario is without flashing, rooting is an option, but not recommended(my friend is a bit stuck on technology ) I would appreciate if the procedure does not require manual partitioning of the SD Card and as a must, not to require a ROM.
This is my first post on the XDA, so don't get hard on me.
wrong section :/ >_<

HI, CronoMod seems to have a universal way to do it ("CronMod INT2EXT scripts are the first universal INT2EXT method released") however I didnt tried on another phone besides the 5830.
You've better ask in CronMod thread
Hope I helped
