If you take a look to your HBOOT-Version, you can see, that you are on the standard spl, i.e. no fastboot support. I suppose you are on the standard recovery, too, i.e. no flashing of updates unless they are signed with the phones secret key.
I suppose, you need to root and to flash at least a custom recovery before you can do anything else. Search for the rooting threads in this forum or consult the Cyanogen-Wiki to get a step by step tutorial how to do it.
yes i have standard spl...plz help me how can i install custom recovery or from wher i found signed update with phones secret key...do you have any link

I've been trying for the past few days to get pershoot's newest kernel on my Dream to no avail. My ultimate goal is to get froyobylazlo ROM up and running on my aging phone.
Right now I'm trying to flash the zip using fastboot but I get the message:
sending 'recovery' (136 kb)... OKAY
writing 'recovery'... FAILED (remote: image error(BootMagic check fail))
I think it may have something to do with where I'm flashing it to. Any help would be appreciated.

What do you mean by "flash the zip using fastboot", what command you are using to flash the recovery.......
fastboot flash recovery kernelb.zip
I believe kernels are flashed from recovery instead of fastboot. Recovery is recovery, not kernel.

The command which youhave used is for flashing recovery from fastboot, it needs an img file. If you are flashing an kernel then you need to go into recovery by pressing home and power button while booting.
Which recovery you have and which rom you are using....?

I believe it's RA-dream-v1.7.0
I have been using Biffmod Leaving on a Jet Plane.
When I flash it from recovery I get:
=======================
Finding update package...
Opening update package...
verifying update package...
E:No signature (7 files)
E:Verification failed
=======================
And then it brings me back to the main menu.
Aman RA does not allow to flash the unsigned file, check the zip you downloaded is good, or use a signing tool to sign that zip

So it should work if I change my recovery?
U need to upgrade your radio/spl per ezterry's 14 MB ram hack page. Keep your recovery. Just fastboot flash radio spl follow all instructions then flash rom
Edit: follow instructions in lazslo rom page too. Need an ext4 partition

Don't I have the newest radio? I'll go searching around just to make sure.
I tried reflashing both items in the dream_2708kit but my phone is still stuck in a boot loop. Is the hboot-1.33.0013d.img file the SPL?

That rom works with .25 radio. There is a flashable zip on ezterrys thread to update. Need to fastboot flash the 13d spl as well so might as well just follow all his instructions then the instructions on the rom op

Do I flash the entire zip or just the img file contained within?
Flashed successfully. Still stuck in a bootloop. This is so frustrating. orz I'm not far from just going to another ROM.
I wiped nearly everything and reformatted my ext4 partition.

What zip did u flash? The radio zip or the dream kit zip. Dream kit u have to unzip. Inside u will find radio and spl. Put those in sdk tools folder then run fastboot commands in his op to get new radio/spl. Radio zip just flash.

I don't know man. It just won't boot. I wonder what the problem is.
Do u have fastboot set up in sdk? If so boot into fastboot, plug it in the comp, open cmd prompt, change directories to androidsdk/tools (assuming that's where fastboot file is), type fastboot devices, hit enter. Should get a serial number. If so, type:
Fastboot erase system -w (enter)
Fastboot erase boot (enter)
Then power down phone. Boot into recovery and reflash rom and don't forget the other file in the op as well. Should be right under rom link. Then reboot.

Alright so I'm pretty much screwed. I wiped everything off my phone except for the boot loader.
I've tried every single method I could find such as reverting back to stock or adb sideloading a custom rom.
They both have failed. Every time I try to revert to a ruu it either tells me it cant verify the signature or it cant verify the model id.
I am extremely frustrated and desperate. Please any help at all would be appreciated.

Since you re on HBOOT 1.44 you can try Revone to gain S-OFF and then the RUU will work and get you back to stock!
What is your CID?
What's the error on trying to sideload or adb push to sdcard?

For Revone to work you need ADB. So boot into custom recovery and run the commands needed for Revone.
Normally it requires usb debugging ON but you should give it a try.

I could side load a custom rom before, but once I tried to install it the usual way through TWRP the installation failed.
Now after re-locking my bootloader to attempt the reversion to stock, and then unlocking after it failed, I can't even get ADB to recognize my device.
I got the same problem. Using TWRP, side load gives an error. This is my comlete error when trying to install
Comlete error is:
Error flashing zip '/sdcard/M7_UL_JB43..
updating partition details
e:unable to mount /data
e: unable to mount internal storage
so do you have the recovery? If so, then as adb is not recognizing your device, probably is a driver issue.. (also you need to connect to adb while in recovery. not on fastboot or when phone is trying to boot)
If it its a reaction on my post, yes i have the recovery adb is recognozing my devices i can push a rom to my SDcard but when i try to install i get that error.
i had the same problem on Win XP with TWRP, on Win 7 it works fine.
Did you try flash different recovery? CWM? can be pushed to sdcard as well
The push is not the issue, thats works correct. CWM can't find my SDcard at all and in TWRP i can browse to SDcard see the rom click on it but then i got the errors.

Problem solved by Adb sideload method.
Phone is alive now
this si my first time writing on this forum.ive been stuck with no OS on my One,hboot 1.55,os-3.62.401.1(4.3),unlocked bootloader, with TWRP,with superuser acces.I acidentali delete my whole os and data/system/nternal... in TWRP.TWRP coudnt mount data/system/dalwik cache/internal storage-nothing.i get bootloop.then i get problem with superuser- in TWRp.Tryed to push or sideload many roms and zips, but adb coudnt recognize my device in the way it should.so,with no os and nothing on my internal storage, and getting problem with superuser in TWRP,i tried to run ruu.zip.it start but stuck cuz i was unlocked bootloader and not s-off.so i go from the bigining.I tried to sideload too,but i failed!!!this is what i done---Relock bootloader.Unlock bootloader.Flash latest CWM recovery.Thru cwm i flash cm 10.1.It boots!!then flash susuperuser.zip to gain root.with root checker i chech if i manage root.if not,use another superuser.zip...then i flash ARHD 11 to try s-off(fail).then i flash ARHD 52.0,again check my root.then i run firewater and get S-off.I see many people stuck with no os and with adb problems,or cant get s-off to retun to stock or run the device which is in bootloop.this is how i manage to un-softbrick my One,and to get S-off
Sory for my english, and sory if the thread is wrong.I just want to help if someone got stuck in bootloop/with no os/with no S-off to run ruu.zip or any rom.
( Im not responsible if you brick your device, this is just sugestion and way how i did it)
Hi everyone.
I am a HTC one new user from Hong Kong.I am sorry that my English is not very good.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have bought a HTC one (M7) last week.I tried to root it and install a custom rom on it.
everything went smoothly BUT suddenly a problem appears!
I put the rom on the sdcard.I make the phone go into the recovery mode.
I install it.When the installation complete it says "can't mount /cache/....(I do not remember it sorry)"
I still try to reboot my HTC one but failed. It comes back to the recovery mode. There is a line at the bottom "error:......(number 7)"
I went to Google and found that I need to update the recovery. So I did.
When I finish installing the new version recovery,The phone stop working and hold on the bootloader screen.
I try to go into the recovery mode but failed. The CWM recovery sign only appears a second then disappears. It changes back to normal boot screen.
Of coz I can't boot.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Can anyone help me what should I do?
My phone version is 4.20.708.10 and android version 4.4.2.THANK YOU.

are you sure you did not installed a M7WLS recovery instead of a M7_UL recovery? try to format /cache and re-flash the rom. Btw you must use TWRP 2.6.3.3 to flash arhf 53 as specified on the rom thread.
And no, you can't go back to stock if there is no RUU or nandroid backup for your version. You will need to flash a custom rom or convert your phone to another stock version (need s-off) i.e: international version or developer edition.

unfortunately, this is not a good option to re-lock bootloader because there is no RUU for that phone version.
