Hi guys, I looked at forum but didn't find that anyone had the problem like me. When my Lg Optimus 2x is fully charged it blocks, shows only black screen, I can't unlock it, turn off or anything, so I must pull out the battery and put it back and only then I can turn on my phone.
Before flashing ParanoidAndroid I did full wipe. Anyone knows the reason and can I fix it somehow?

What kernel you're using? That's BSOD or black screen of death nobody knows how it happend or how it can fix

My best advice is to go to settings > devoloment and tick stay awake.. the problem is when the phone goes in to deep sleep mode it won t wake back up.. with the stay awake while charging option keeps the screen on and wont let it go to deep sleep hope this helps

Why? The stay awake option is the perfect answer. A couple people have charging bsod problems with the cm stock kernel (like pastime himself hehe). With that option it won't happen anymore.

Hey everyone,
I flashed ICS a few days ago and then a day or two later flashed rocket rom. I am not really sure if this problem happened before rocket or not.
My phone randomly "shuts off". Maybe it doesn't wake up, I don't know how to tell the difference. I have to either pull out the battery or do a hard reset sometimes.
Any suggestions as to what I should do? Go back to gingerbread? Or reinstall rocket? flash a different ROM (midnote, etc)?
Thanks everyone!

There is an app called Wake Lock or Keep Awake or something that won't let your phone get into deep sleep so it doesn't happen.
Had the same problem, I remembered from the HTC HD2 forums something about avoiding it by turning off auto-brightness.
After having 4 sleep of deaths in 3 hours, I had it once in 24 hours. Dunno if that's what affected it, but much better. Try it.
Kernel related. Flash a different one. Wipe cache and dalvik after kernel flash.
Some kernels are plagued by this problem because of kernel base used. Minor hardware changes in newer batches do not like the old kernel base.
big problem here!!
display automatically wake up "switch on without touching anything"
any suggestion

That looks like stock GB in which case it's likely an app that's causing the screen on issues. There's an app you can download called better battery stats. It will list which app is causing the screen on.
Post back when you know what's causing it.

Hey, I started using this ICS Rom (the AOKP version), comming from overcome
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1697589
I have a major battery drain. Like 50% in 10 hours without using the tab. Any ideas how that can be?
Also is there a custom ICS Rom which is known for its good battery life?
Thanks.
CM9 drain off battery too fast too... Maybe ICS isn't optimized for our tab...
Yes, but that seems like a lot to me... I am thinking about switching back to Overcome, I cannot take my tab with me anymore with this battery consumption.

How should I do that? I mean, do I run the app and then simply leave some time?
EDIT: The tab does not go into deep sleep. Does that mean I have a wakelock? How can I find out, what is keeping the tab awake?

could I get a link?
I don't know how I did it but the tab is now on 125 Mhz when I don't use it. However, CPU Spy says that it does not go into deep sleep. How can that be and what is the difference between deep sleep and simply going to the lowest CPU frequency?
Cm9 stable release without gapps install is giving me battery backup almost same as overcome.no more over heating, lags or bugs.perfect build.
nightly build cause overheating n fast drainage in my tab. however didnt try latest versions as after stable release i didnt flash any other rom.my main concern use to be battery life so always come back to gb.bt now 2.3 is outdated for me.

Run betterbatterystats for a few hour and post the screen capture here for kernel wake locks and partial wake locks.
Maybe we can help.
Saying less than 2% doesn't mean much.

If it us really NetworkStats, from my own experience, it was bad modem.
What is your baseband showing.
You may need to replace the modem.

how to replace modem?
We nail the problem then.
In the dev forum, there is a sticky thread called modems.
Get one, maybe jpz.
Unpack it, copy the modem.bin to /radio/modem.bin
Reboot, check baseband.

Try to reflash rom. Shouldn't have such issues on Temasek at all.

i think it's a rom problem,i face it when i'm on that build, but now i change to gueste.. and everything works, try to change kernel.. or rom..
I also had this problem on Parandroid CM10, no sign of life from the phone at all.
However, I reflashed the rom and now it works great.
Ok rom issue then. I will reflash it with a different one and kernel. Any kernel recomendations?

Happened to me on gueste2x v3.8 last night while I was USB tethering...and I was just pushing for a record time running made it to 160 hours and had to pull battery out to get it working again. As mentioned already, it's probably something to do about background data/wifi activity.
Nevertheless, I still recommend gueste2x v3.8  Give it a try

Happened to me twice in a row even with temasek. And bunch of times before with variety of roms. Its basicly kernel issue, low voltage set on screen off and probably some background data sync.. Well i hope cm10 is gonna fix this issue forever, because this is making me wanna toss my o2x and whole android to the trashbin and buy a Windows Phone rather.. I Just cant keep a phone i cant rely on

I think its some kinda flashing error. Try reflashing firmware meant for your phone model no. but first go to recovery and wipe data and cache. After flashing also wipe data and cache. I guess it would be good. But if that also doesn't help then it would be a bug on the firmware. Try changing the firmware to a latest one...
