Extended Battery

Hi
I was just looking for bigger battery for my 540 and cant find anything apart of this w*w.mugen-power-batteries.com/mugen-power-1800mah-extended-battery-for-lggm750-gt540-optimus-gw620-gw820-gw880-gw825v-p500-optimus-one-gx200-gx500.html#
Any of you have some info on it or maybe use one?.

Haven't got one but Mugen make good batteries for others phones.

1800mAh isn't much different from 1500mAh

mAh = milliAmp hours
IANAEE (electronic engineer) but basically it is a measure of how much energy can be stored within the battery. Think of the number as a measure of how long the battery would run for at a constant draining current of 1mA *or* how quickly you'd have to take power from the battery to drain it completely in one hour.
In other words, using the example above, an 1800mAh battery would last ~20% longer than a 1500mAh.
If your battery would normally last 10 hours, it would now last 12 hours.
As for the original question of info on it / whether this qualifies as 'ultra-high capacity' you'll need to ask someone more familiar with batteries than I am

So has anyone got any experience with the extended battery? Worth the punt?

I'm really interested!

1800mAh won't probably make that much of a difference for Optimus. Optimus has one of the largest batteries for a phone of its kind. 1500mAh itself is pretty high capacity.
I really don't think the extra 45$ is worth the extra 300mAh. You are better off buying an external portable charger. They run at around 20-30$. You could probably get an excellent one for 45$.

Just get any portable USB charger.

That must be fake. The highest capacity I have seen is 1800mAh but it's only 300mAh higher than the stock.

the battery is a misterius

I have seen this type of batteries that have a range of longer duration but there are many contradictions if it is good or not, is made in japan maybe that's a plus I'm wanting to buy a battery because the stock I have been short

anyone tried the Ankar 1400mh Li0ion Battery replacement for the Ace? i have a friend who has an HTC Sense and using an Ankar branded battery and according to him, it is much better than his original battery.

Is there an official 1650 mAh for Galaxy ACE??

ill try to find good alternative for battery (more mAh) but all of them are fake. It wrote that battery has 1500, 1700 mAh or more but truly it has less than 1200 mAh. Only original battery is the good one. I hope that the battery from SGA-Duo will be compatible to our.

I want to buy new battery as my old battery not working properly. I want to know any battery other than stock1350maH battery sounds good. In many forums I saw about anker 1400maH battery had better performance than stock. But in official www.ianker.com I noticed no 1400 maH battery was available.Please guys Suggest me if you know any branded batteries other than stock if available for our ace. Sorry for my bad english

does the battery from I9000 / I9003 fits our ace?
was browsing to get a new battery > 1350 mAh in Indian sites like ebay / flipkart and quite confused if it will fit our ace.
should we go only for the series thats mentioned behind the battery like EB49358VU or can we even use which starts with EB575xxxx

Dont buy a battery more than 1500 mAh.
Becoz it can directly effect on your hardware and damaged to your circuit also it will affect on your phone's life.

Just buy the same battery I got. It's worth the money and it's actually 1500mAh. Got 3 of em and a spare charger. Though the charger doesn't work anymore but I didn't use it anyway. Have used a 2nd one before because sometimes I forget to charge my phone over night so they're pretty handy.

I've seen 2450maH batteries but I've read that they are very bad.
Has anybody heard something about them?

I bought a 2430mah battery and it sucks. Don't think of buying that.

I havent heard of anyone getting really good battery life after getting a new one (at least not confirmed or proven) so just go with the stuff that seems reliable,legit and not does "9000+mAh öajndsljsnflksjdnfkajsnd"-batteries.

It seems doggy. Most high capacity batteries love to play the number game.
Some standard sized 2500mah batteries are actually poor quality 1500mah batteries that doesn't last as long as the stock Samsung battery.
Some thick ones are actually 2 1500mah batteries glued together making a total of 3000mah but often marketed misleadingly as 3500mah.
It is best to just get a oem Samsung power pack for the i9000.

New Battrty for Ace

So After using my stock battery for 3 years, I thought it was high time and should be buying a battery.....
My Analysis :-
On Stock Rom, it is perfect and I use Battery Extender Kernel andgives me about 4 days of medium usage
On Cm7 Roms it gives me abt 2 days with medium usage
I dint try on Cm9 and Cm10.1 but I hope that it wud be lower that CM7
I bought it at RS 500 from Samsung Retail Store and it is stock 1350 MaH battery and I am really Happy with it

how much is the power rating of stock ace battery ? 1200mah ?

It is 1350 MaH and it works fine enough

where did u buy that and how much cost?

Is there any "working" battery for the ace out there with more than 1350mah? My battery lasts 1-2 minutes with screen on,I think it's pretty damaged xD

I took a battery 2100 MaH, on ebay. I don't know if it's a real 2100 MaH battery, but, i'm sure that the battery is 2x more long ! I can use my phone during 5-6 days.

It is a pretty old thread, anyway... Samsung is using very good batteries, if you want to go on a budget buy a third party battery, some are a near the same as the samsung only less epensive BUT it will not be of a higher capacity than the original... why ? Because the "energie density" of the Samsung batteries is certainly one of the best on the market. Meaning that a third party company is not able to create, within the same "enveloppe", "sized space" a battery with a higher capacity. That is simple as that. (with the same technology of course).
Of course after many years you can replace an old battery with one that can be of a higher capacity .. cause the technology has evolved. (not always possible)

Battery not last longing.
I bought new original samsung battery 6 months before, but now its not giving me desirable output. It only lasts a whole day only if data is not connected whole time and only few number of calls are made or attended. I am frustated now. Need help.

Try ERD battery. Is good and decent. Its Indian battery and price about 250. Find in Google.
