Fallout New Vegas crashes on launch, Win7 Ultimate x64 - Off-topic

So I installed Fallout NV on my PC, but right after a few seconds of game launch, it crashes.
I have a Windows 7 Ultimate x64, and my hardware is:
Asus P5QC Motherboard - Intel Core2Duo E7300 - ATI Radeon 4850 (with latest x64 driver) - and 4 GB's of DDR2 RAM.
I've tried many of common fixes on the web, like Win XP compatibility mode, copying some DLL file... nothing worked.
Here's the problem detail on crash dialog:
Code:

On Sevenforums somebody suggested to update DirectX. And this happened:
At first it said Installed successfully. But Windows asked if the program was installed correctly. I chose to re-install using recommended settings and the installation crashed. Here's the log:

The best solution is to try it on WinXP. I had some crashes with the hardspl with a Vista PC. If you dont want to install it, try a Virtual Machine.

thnx for the reply wat do u mean by virtual machine?
try using the internal storage method or updating your ROM.
Installing from Internal Storage is the fastest and safest way to upgrade ROM.
1) Rename the ROM to DIAMIMG.nbh and copy into your internal storage
2) While pressing VolDown and Back, use your stylus to press the reset button
3) After a few seconds, it will ask you whether you want to proceed to install ROM from Internal Storage.
However, every ROM cooker recommends some type of HardSPL. You must make sure that you meet the requirement, lest you brick your TD.

re-download the HardSPL again. Right click and run as admin as stated above but under the compatibility tab select Windows XP. See if that works for you.
Thanks for the responses, but still no success
Set comp. to Windows XP Pack 2
Run as adim (I'm always in admin mode anyways, but set it there just incase)
and still same
stopped working error

Sounds like it could be a problem with your PC/installation. HardSPL is usually fine on Win7.

Haha fun guyz.
Still no luck for the Hardspl and my pc.
When you have Windows7 Profession, Enterprise, or Ultimate you can try it in "Windows XP Mode" (Not to be Confused with Compatiblity Mode).
"microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/download.aspx"
(I cant post links now, so just Copy&Paste it in you Adress Bar)
Google a bit for "Windows XP Mode" if you want how to use it, i´m too tired now....
I have the same problem and tried everything mentioned here before, but it didn't work.
Then I ran the Rhodium-HardSPL_V2_00R3.exe in XP Mode and it works, but I seems to be impossible to install Active Sync 4.5 in XP Mode...

If you put your phone in bootloader mode, as long as the drivers are loaded for the "device" you can do whatever needs to be done without activesync.
:OTHER OPTION:
Go buy a cheap xp computer
please post your questions/problems about hardspl in the appropriate thread, not start a new one.

Intel HAXM Error, How to fix.

If you're getting the following error
Code:
emulator: ERROR: x86_64 emulation currently requires hardware acceleration!
Please ensure Intel HAXM is properly installed and usable.
CPU acceleration status: Unable to open HAXM device: ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND
go to intel's website and download HAXM
some people are reporting issues with the win10 anniversary update so YMMV.

You don't need to go to intel's site. You can do this:
Go to RemixOSPlayer folder > remixemu > haxm-windows_v6_0_3 > run intelhaxm-android > select your desired RAM amount and complete the procedure.
Try launching RemixOSPlayer.exe again and it should work this time.
This didn't work for me on my miix 700.
and if the still presists, go to bios settings and enable "Virtualization Technology" from there! it will worK!
virtualization is enabled, but haxm says it isn't. any ideas?
intel i5-4460
16gb ram
win 8.1 64bit
wow, this Remix OS player plays smoothly on my dell 9350
My processor is AMD...I'm also getting this Intel error, I also get it when trying to boot Remix OS for PC. BOO!
Unfortunately, AMD doesn't HAXM, which Android Studio requires. Remix OS Player is based on Android Studio. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news... If there is news on this though, I'll update here. Thanks!

Confirmed - in BIOS settings (under "configuration" tab I believe) "Intel: VT" needs to be enabled. If it still doesn't work, try installing HAXM again by running remixemu\haxm-windows_v6_0_3\intelhaxm-android.exe.
Seems to be working for me now.
donwload from intel. os remix included file is v6_0_3\interhaxm-android.exe. but from intel was 6.0.4
I was able to 'install' the haxm.
Command Prompt(Admin) type bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off (Disable Hyper-V,Windows Phone Emulator will not work), then "Restart Your PC".
I guess you install Visual Studio, this is because Windows Phone SDK opens during installation caused by Hyper-V, Windows Phone Emulator SDK needs to be realized with Hyper-v virtualization.
Note: bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype auto (Enable Hyper-V)

There was a few window 10's that the binaries where corrupt. You can check to see if yours is corrupt by just using rar.

Unable to install Intel® HAXM

While running the Android Studio Setup Wizard, it concluded with this error:
Unable to install Intel® HAXM
Unknown Error
Please file a bug against Android Studio.
Please help, advise or offer suggestions.
I have been told that this error is because my computer is old or that Virtualization Technology was not enabled. I checked Virtualization Technology and found it is enabled.
Here is the information I have. And it seems that VT is Eables. So, what is next? Please advise.
